It's hard to enter all of the scorecard metrics and to-dos, given that this software runs on a weekly basis and some of the scorecard metrics are monthly. That can make setting up this software a bit difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Traction tools makes it easy to share a list of ideas with co-workers during a video conference. Just share and select who can edit and who can only view. User friendly and helpful video tutorials for those just starting to use the program. The how many minutes each topic takes up is especially helpful to keep our meetings from going over on time in. I like the structure and flow of Traction Tools. It's designed to optimize communication, accountability, and efficiency in meetings. It keeps the minutes of the meetings, and has sections for Segues (Personal Best/Work Best), To-Dos, People Headlines, Upcoming Weekly Plans for each Attendee, Collaboration (Identify, Discuss, Solve), Issues (Rocks), and a Meeting Score from attendee.. I dislike the constant reminders of to-dos. I'm sure there is some setting I can adjust to turn this feature off, but I haven't gotten that far yet. I know what to-do's I have, as I'm usually the one who inputs that information into the platform, so I don't need so many reminders. I also feel there should be a place to ask questions. If not used correctly, one or two people can end up with the majority of the responsibilities. I think that this is a problem on really small teams. It's hard when there's only a few of you every single week, and there's too many things that need to be done. Also, if you're meeting once weekly to have the Traction meeting, some people may have a tendency to wait until that meeting to bring up any problems. The rock interface is not good at all. It makes checking the progress of rocks really difficult. The IDS section doesn't show the full issue if the title is too long. There's not an easy way to transfer cascading messages from the meeting to the conclusion. You can't upload pictures or insert links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
