What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

As a digital platform manager at the Royal Photographic Society, I have been working with the Customer Success Team, Support Team and Enablement Team to update our platform, which has been outdated for about 18 months. The teams have been impeccable; I couldn't ask for a more supportive bunch of people.

As someone with ADHD/Dyslexia, I struggle with learning new technologies, but they have all been amazing and supportive. Nothing is too big for them, and they are happy to explain stuff repeatedly until I understand it and go above and beyond to ensure the platform works flawlessly.

They have made the upgrade project easy, and I have grown professionally and personally by collaborating with the teams mentioned above to enhance my experience with Blackthorn.

The platform has also allowed our volunteers to create events to a high standard and customize the platform to make the UX/UI of their lives so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

The app is extremely intuitive and easy to use. Our staff has no issues building events thanks to the events builder. The email sender has been fantastic and allows us to send reminders and post-event surveys extremely easily.

The ability to modify the data dictionary has been great as well.

What do you dislike about Blackthorn Events?

What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

The tools provided for event planning are very good, the interface from the beginning is easy to use, the tools are very powerful and allow you to run events in an orderly manner, the organization for communication with attendees participating in the organized events is also excellent, the reports provided and the analysis of each event managed with the platform are complete, it does its job very well. What do you dislike about Blackthorn Events?

It is an expensive program with a technical support that does not provide quick solutions, I think they should focus on providing better solutions to the failures in their next updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

It is my favorite event management tool, the panel is very intuitive and can be navigated easily and safely, from the control panel I can manage the entire workflow and even provide support to all employees of our academy. It is perfect for planning events, from the platform I can manage email invitations for example to the departments of our organization. The setup was very fast. I like the customization I have within the platform, I have access to many filters, visibility controls and ability to manage tickets and alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blackthorn Events?

The management for email campaigns leaves much to be desired, the support team lacks personalization when it comes to solving problems, poor calendar option, poor integrations. What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

it has never been so simple and fast to make an event, no matter the complexity, number of speakers or if it will be free or paid, the way blackthorn facilitates the process is incredible, it is an intuitive interface with simple tools to run, and the technical support part gives you an almost immediate attention, i recommend it. What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

As an advanced user, I love how easy it was to install, you can customize nearly every feature to fit your organization. My staff loves how easy it is to create events using the wizard. You're literally up and running in a few minutes. The built in reports are a great place to start - but being able to customize them is an added bonus. We have used it for 13 different events this year, and could not have done them without BTE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blackthorn Events?

There are so few things that I dislike - the way they have engineered BTE almost anything you don't like can be worked around. There hasn't been anything that has prevented me from doing my job. The handful of things I've created a work around for will probably be fixed in future updates because they really pay attention to what their customers need. What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

Everything from Sales to implementation was wonderful! The sales team was great in helping us understand their products and selecting those that best fit our needs. The transition to the onboarding team was incredibly smooth and quick. I've been in IT for nearly 20 years and I have never experienced a vendor with such a robust onboarding program. They do an amazing job of faciliting numerous meetings to help configure and learn their products. We had support every step of the way. The transition from onboarding to our account manager was also very smooth and we felt very supported as an organization. The products so far are working great! We are using event management, texting and soon mass emailing. We hope to expand use of Blackthorn with other areas of our college in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
