Blackthorn has made creating events 10x more efficient and effective in connecting with our attendees. We utilize this platform for all of our external events. Whenever I have had any concerns or errors (usually user errors) and I have had to reach out to customer support, they have always been fast to respond and excellent at helping me resolve the error. Some downsides are the current settings related to messaging. I would like to be able to setup an event, but choose from a list of internal users who is sending out the messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We love working with the Blackthorn Events folks! Their representatives are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Blackthorn Events module is very powerful and integrates into our CRM platform. We have several different users leveraging BTE for a variety of different events with various options, ticket types, etc.
The implementation is pretty straightforward and out-of-the-box, but there are several additional features that need backend support from BTE to get turned on before use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Blackthorn Events is native to Salesforce and works very well with your existing infrastructure in the Salesforce Environment. You can automate steps in your Event process with Flow and it generates registration websites for your events so people can sign up via the web. It offers a great deal of flexibility (Sessions, Tracks, Simple Events, etc.) and has a great wizard that lets you to create Events easily. It also lets you clone events if you have events that are repeated. It's easy to install and configure, and support is responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Blackthorn's updates occasionally break existing features, but they're always super-quick to correct them. For this reason, I recommend always testing fully in a Sandbox before migrating updates to Production environments. Which is something you should be doing anyway... It is ideal tool to manage your events step by step, with a visually appealing user interface, it integrates seamlessly with Salesforce, the technical service is excellent, provides ideal solutions, a toolbar that meets expectations in terms of functionality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The support from the Blackthorn team is unlike any I have experienced. This product is worth it alone just because of the amazing people behind this platform and how willing they are to help (shoutout Jared and Noah!) With 10 years of being in the workforce and utilizing many platforms, I have never come across a more helpful, people focused, "what can we do to make this product work for you" attitude. The Blackthorn team truly wants to help and are committed to making sure that you, the customer, are using the product in its full capacity. Particularly, their open office hours have been a game changer. AT ANY TIME, I can schedule a 15-30 minute 1-1 with a specialist (within their scheduled business hours) to help with any problem I am having. This has saved me countless hours back and relieved so much frustration on the user-facing end. They are responsive, helpful, and just an absolute joy to work with! The main problems I find with this product is the complexity of some of the items. Often it can take a lot of clicks to accomplish what you're hoping to get done. The email template feature and form feature can be quite annoying. You have to make a form for pretty much every event, so just to set up a robust registration, you might need to make 2-4 forms ahead of time, then complete the registration. It's also not always clear what the forms do or where they end up once you insert them. It can take some digging to sort this out.
I think it's also not always attractive to the user, which can be discouraging for more youthful generations to be excited about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Events can be customized as per our own business requirements. Lots of customizations Available on Events, Event Items, Attendees, Forms etc.
Great Documentation available clearly explaining all the features within the Blackthorn Application and Support Team is very responsive and Knowledgable. Excellent for managing paid or free virtual events, without complex very simple to use for the common user, you can automate the invitations to the events from the platform, you can even manage the economic part of the event, billing, management, itinerary very interesting the whole process of using the program. There is nothing I don't like about this program, it's hard to say that it does anything wrong, I could include that the integrations are a bit poor, but I don't see them as necessary, the truth is that within the program you have everything you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a digital platform manager at the Royal Photographic Society, I have been working with the Customer Success Team, Support Team and Enablement Team to update our platform, which has been outdated for about 18 months. The teams have been impeccable; I couldn't ask for a more supportive bunch of people.
As someone with ADHD/Dyslexia, I struggle with learning new technologies, but they have all been amazing and supportive. Nothing is too big for them, and they are happy to explain stuff repeatedly until I understand it and go above and beyond to ensure the platform works flawlessly.
They have made the upgrade project easy, and I have grown professionally and personally by collaborating with the teams mentioned above to enhance my experience with Blackthorn.
The platform has also allowed our volunteers to create events to a high standard and customize the platform to make the UX/UI of their lives so much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
