The ease of setup for different budgets/projects/people. The search filters make it easy to find transactions. The integration to accounting software is simple and changing of cost codes is also an easy process. We reconcile each weeks transactions with ease and precision. The implementation is simple and easy to do. Adding new codes is a breeze. The earning of points for $ back is a huge bonus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This feels like it should be a paid service, and it's crazy to me that it's not, (at our level at least). Creating virtual cards, assigning funds, and creating/managing budgets is above and beyond any other product out there. The receipt upload/expense tracking is solid, not industry-leading by any means, but good enough to have replaced our Expensify subscription, especially given the utility of BILL S&E's other features. My biggest (but also petty) gripe is the name change from Divvy to BILL Spend & Expense. Something so quick, catchy and easy to remember changed to a mouthful. The transition has been slow, and we still refer to it as Divvy internally.
There are also some parts of the expense tracking / reporting that leave a little bit to be desired in comparison to a dedicated expense reporting tool like Expensify; for example, we use BILL S&E cards for purchases we bill back to clients, and the exports of expenses aren't customizable and don't include links/images to uploaded receipts. Exports include tons of additional columns of data beyond what's needed to bill expenses back to clients, but it's worth dealing with at the end of the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bill Spend & Expense has been a great solution to manage our previous manual process in collecting and coding credit card receipts. The fact that the platform is offered for free is an added bonus and quite impressive given how innovative the software is. We were able to get rewards greater than our prior credit card program which only included very basic software and did not integrate with our accounting software. The platform is so easy to use, implementation was a breeze, and our employees have nothing but positive things to say about the transition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While to be expected for a free platform; I wish the expense reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses was a little more sophisticated. Bill.com obviously wants customers using the credit card; unfortunately, the culture at my company isn't quite there yet so reimbursements are still something we have to tackle, and not sure Bill Spend & Expense will be the long-term solution for that piece. The ease at which I can make budgets and assign them to budget members makes life incredibly easy. I am thankful that Bill sends automatic updates when someone has not finished the transaction takes the pressure of my back. It takes times to set up all the items and policies needed to be in line with the company vision. I also cannot track how many times someone is reminded for transactions and cannot control if they turn off their notifications. The most helpful feature I've experienced is the start-up guides and wealth of knowledge for every question you've ever had in the Help articles. It's easy to implement and use for everyday spending management for all the teams in our organization. The QuickBooks transaction syncing makes accounting especially easy. The downsides are that they don't have how-to videos and reimbursements don't sync to QuickBooks. Videos would help others that are more hands-on visual learners be able to get up and going faster with their account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app is super intuitive, and allows for a great transparent and quick process to track spending across multiple departments. Integrates with quickbooks enterprise easily, and allows many departments to have visibility and control over spending. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the layout and how easy it is to navigate through things once you have been trained. It's intuitive on the most part but there are features that you need to get training on. I do like the App availability as well so that you can approve and make changes on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform still lacks a lot of flexibility to meet our needs. Specifically reporting options could be more robust to cater to our needs. The App could be improved to access similar features to the web browser, for example notifications should be up to date and take you straight to requests, where on the App it seems to be stuck on some historical view and does not take you to the actual request. Spend and Expense makes it extremely easy for us to track and approve expenditures. The budgets feature is very helpful and the flexibility of having as many virtual cards as you need makes for the most useable expense system we have used. The rewards are great as well.
