Our company of 400 uses most of the Betterworks tools: Objectives, Feedback, Conversations, 1:1s, Recognition, and Insights. We don't enjoy the level of participation we'd like to see unless the program is absolutely mandatory (as with Conversations), but I think that's more a matter of marketing the programs and general culture.
As an admin, I like how easy it is to create and update the programs and notifications. I've been particularly happy with the Insights dashboards.
I've also had the benefit of a long time, really fantastic CSM. Talia has been available to help whenever I've run into a difficult situation, and to help me understand and implement new features and tools. The support desk is also responsive and helpful.
The integration between Slack and BW for recognition is getting good traction and is helping engagement.

There are a couple areas that are a bit clunky, like Feedback; I've found that I need to use a lot of workarounds to create the programs our organization needs. What I have appreciated most about Betterworks is the customer support. While everything isn't always perfect and there are things that we would love to see enhanced, the partnership between our organizations has allowed us to continue to evolve our program while their team evolved the product. For us, there are still some limitations with Betterworks that have caused additional work and effort on our side. First is the reporting capabilities. The reporting functionality is very basic. In order to get data on how many employees received check-ins during our fiscal year, I would have to pull 4 seperate reports and then compile all the data. Similarly, to get year end stats I would also have to pull the goals report, several feedback reports, and a recognition report. This much manual work to get to 4-5 stats is not helpful. Secondly, one of the challenges that we have been sharing for years is the recognition module. Our organization has been so disappointed with it that many departments have either purchased or developed their own recognition platforms due to the lack of functionality and interaction. We used Betterworks survey platform for an employee engagement survey. Implementation was smooth and our customer support was fantastic. I found the tool easy to use, intuitive, and administrator and user friendly. Creating summaries of results was easy and the platform enabled us to slice and dice the data in a variety of ways that helped our leaders see the results of their groups.
