"Good experience with backlog"

What do you like best about Backlog?

I like backlog because it shows all my tasks. I do not have to ask anyone for details because everything is already assigned and mentioned. I can update status write comments and check feedback from qa or manager inside the same tasks. It saves my time and helps me in managing tasks. I use their git feature also to store my code. What problems is Backlog solving and how is that benefiting you?

Backlog has become part of my daily life routine before using this tool tasks were coming from different sources like teams or excel and it was hard to manage all. Now i just open backlog and all my work is there with full details. I can see what task is assigned to me what is pending. When i finish some tasks i just update the status and everyone knows. I also use comments to talk with qa and manager inside the tasks. Now i do not need to remember anything because backlog remembers everything for me like my tasks my bugs even my code also dont need to use anyother git tool because git is inbuilt feature in backlog. What do you like best about Backlog?

The simple interface and useful features make my development process faster and reduce my stress. once you start using backlog you will fully depend on backlog, because it makes everything easy for you like you dont need any other git tool and you can comment on tasks if need and dont need to give daily updates to your senior. As a software developer i need to focus more on building and fixing code and backlog helps me do that better

it gives me a clear view of what client is expected from me and what is the current status of all tasks which are assigned to me. I do not have to ask my senior that what i have to done today which tasks are needs to be fixed today everything is mentioned there like which tasks has high priority. The best thing is that i can attach screenshots and comments so everyone can understand. It helps me to handle multiple projects i do not feel work pressure because everything is in detail. "Easy for QA"

What do you like best about Backlog?

I am QA who is testing daily on project and mobile apps and handling many bugs this tool makes the work less stressful and more smooth. I can easily assign bugs to developers and even i can comment and attach screenshots. It is now part of my daily testing routine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Backlog solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am working in QA profile and assignsing task is my work in which backlog has helped me keep my testing more perfect and in manner way.

Before using backlog I was writing bugs in microsoft excel and it was not easy to track everything. When we started using backlog I just raise bug with title of the bug and screenshot of the bug and assign it to developer who is working on it. If developer didnt understand then developer can comment on it and i will reply on it. I can also check old bugs easily.

"Tracking bugs was headache but now its easy with backlog"

What do you like best about Backlog?

it keeps my all reported bugs it good way. I dont have to remember everything abouit bugs because now everything is saved in backlog which is the best thing. As a QA I work full day to find bugs and backlog help me to report. I just open backlog create bug task and write what is happening and then add screenshot and send to developer, So no need to explain again and again to everyone. I can also see which bug is fixed which is still pending and which one developer is working on. It saves my time and I dont need to follow up with the developer again and again, Comments section is very helpful because developers and QA both reply there and everyone can see whats happening. It feels like team is solving bug together without backlog it was difficult to track bugs but now everything is clear and in control for QA backlog is like daily essential thing. "Magical tool"

What do you like best about Backlog?

There are many features in backlog, But i have mentioned the most useful features i found in backlog are Simple User Interface, Drag and drop, Task Management, Comment Section of tasks, Gantt Chart, Notifications, Mobile application and Git. What problems is Backlog solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am developer and believe me we are very busy most of the time we just want one thing that tasks are clearily mentioned we start using backlog so that things will become easy and I get my task with title, description, steps and even deadline of the tasks all these things in one place. The best thing i found is task status I just move it from Open to In Progress when i start working on tasks and when its completed the i move it to Done.

Comments section saves a lot of time. Tester write bug and attach screenshot if I have any doubt then i comment they reply on it all these things are happening inside same comment section of task. when someone tag me in any task I get notified via email or web notification. "Many features at single software"

What do you like best about Backlog?

I love the board view in backlog which is very useful and drag task from to do to doing or done. Subtasks help me to break down difficult work in parts and status tracking feature by which we can track. Comment section is also good so everyone can chat notifications come on email and phone both. I am working as a project manager from last few years and handling people and task together is difficult. I can create project, add task, assign to developers, set deadlines of the project and priority and even attach screenshots and files.

My favourite part is task board view. I can drag and drop task from To Do to In Progress or Done. Subtask feature is also helpful. When any big task come then i need two-three developers for that then I break into smaller parts. So team not feel pressure and do their work easily. comments inside task is also very helpful. "Task management with backlog becomes very simple"

What do you like best about Backlog?

I can create task within one minute with backlog. I write what’s the work and assign it to developer and mention deadline and set priority like high, medium, low. If the task is too big then we can break it into subtasks and assign them. The best thing is status update i can see on which task developer is working and which one is open, in progress or completed. My role is doing task management in my team. Before backlog its too difficult to handle everything after using backlog i feel like half tension gone. I just open backlog create task and assign to my team member and menstion due date. If its too big task then I break in 2-3 subtasks and assign it to many users. I can check everything what’s going on the projects. I get email notifications. Comment section helps very much everyone to understand things. Drag and drop helps alot and saves time. "Easy for everyone"

What do you like best about Backlog?

I am QA in my organisation and i use backlog every day for report bug. Before backlog, I was writing bugs on Excel but now we use backlog it has many features like bug reporting and comment section in tasks. Notification also come when someone write or update the task.
