The most appealing aspect of Backlog for me is the way its extensive project management capabilities are paired with an easy-to-use UI. Its flawless balancing act between simplicity and functionality facilitates job management, progress tracking, and productive collaboration for teams comprising both technical and non-technical members. Development teams may manage code alongside project responsibilities thanks to the integrated version control and bug tracking features.
Furthermore, productivity is increased by the easy interaction with other Nulab tools, such as Cacoo and Typetalk. Everything works more smoothly and effectively, from task delegation to real-time collaboration. Nothing slips between the cracks thanks to the platform's ability to visualise workflows and foster open communication between teams.
Their support staff responds quickly to any problems we have, and they consistently release updates that take user comments into account, demonstrating their dedication to ongoing development.
Their tools take little setup time and are simple to use. Because there is little learning curve, teams may immediately adjust and begin working together without experiencing a lot of downtime. The switch to Nulab is seamless because to their platform integration features.
Backlog is a daily tool that we use to manage projects, keep track of tasks, and facilitate team collaboration. Because of its constant updates, which guarantee that everyone is informed, it is indispensable to our operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Backlog is a great tool for project management, but I don't like that new users may find its UI a little confusing, especially if they're not used to more complex systems. Even if there are a lot of features, they could take some time to really study and comprehend.
Additionally, there is need for improvement in terms of functionality and navigation within mobile apps. While task management while on the go is possible, several capabilities are either slightly limited or less user-friendly than in the desktop version.
Finally, teams should have more flexibility in the dashboard and reporting customisation choices so that they may more precisely customise views to meet their needs. Even with these few flaws, Backlog is still a strong and trustworthy project management tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Backlog has been an incredible asset for our team in managing projects and tasks seamlessly. The platform offers a user-friendly interface with powerful features that make collaboration easy. I especially appreciate the way it integrates with other tools, streamlining our workflow. The visual task tracking and the ability to assign tasks with deadlines help us stay on top of our work without confusion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Backlog performs exceptionally well overall, one area for improvement could be the reporting features. They are useful but could be more advanced, offering deeper insights into project performance. Additionally, the mobile app could benefit from further optimization, as it occasionally feels less intuitive compared to the desktop version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Backlog is a highly effective project management tool that excels in combining task tracking, bug reporting, and collaboration in one platform. What I like best about Backlog is its intuitive interface, which simplifies managing tasks, tracking progress, and assigning work across teams. Its robust version control and integration with Git and SVN are especially useful for developers, allowing seamless collaboration between technical and non-technical teams. Additionally, the built-in Gantt charts and Kanban boards provide clear visualizations of project timelines and progress, which improves overall project efficiency. One potential downside of Backlog is that its customization options can feel somewhat limited compared to other project management tools. While it offers essential features for task tracking and collaboration, the interface may lack flexibility for users who need more advanced customization in workflows, reports, or dashboards. Additionally, the mobile app, while functional, can sometimes feel a bit clunky and less responsive than the desktop version, which might hinder on-the-go project management. Another limitation is that for larger teams or complex projects, navigating through multiple tasks and updates can become cumbersome without advanced filtering or automation options. Backlog is an all-in-one project management tool offering task management, bug tracking, and version control. It allows easy visualization and management of projects by providing Kanban boards, Gantt charts, and burndown charts. The inbuilt code management (Git/SVN) is an outstanding feature for development teams, helping them to work much faster and easier. Integrated functionality with tools like Slack and Microsoft Teams amplifies its use for communication and agile teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Free plan is highly limited in both users and storage, which works against larger teams or more complex projects. Besides that, though Backlog does a great job with developers, some of the advanced functionality might overwhelm non-technical users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
