What do you like best about Microsoft Azure Networking?

The documentation from Microsoft is in depth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure Networking?

So far I don't find any bottleneck. I am happy with all features and functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Azure Networking solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am happy that I don't need to setup everything same as like in my physical infrastructure. There are many things which is only managed by azure and you just need to manage your resource. Such as CDN i am using AFD with WAF, i just make a CNAME and route it to my AFD endpoint then it can be redirected to any origin host in backend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure DNS?

I've been using Azure DNS, which is like a toolbox for managing website addresses. Here's what I like best about Azure DNS:

Doesn't Break: Azure DNS is pretty reliable. It keeps my website working, and I rarely see it go offline. That's a big plus.

Plays Well with Others: If you're already using Microsoft's Azure cloud stuff, it fits right in. You can manage your website address alongside your other online things, which is handy.

Works Everywhere: It doesn't matter where your website visitors are from; Azure DNS helps them access your site quickly. That's important for a good website experience.

Grows with You: No matter if your website is small or huge, Azure DNS can handle it. You can add more stuff to your website without trouble. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure DNS?

Costs Can Be Confusing: Azure's pricing can be a bit tricky to figure out, especially if you're new to it. Keep an eye on your costs to avoid surprises.

Takes a Bit to Learn: If you're new to Azure DNS, it might take a while to understand how it works. The interface and terms can be a bit confusing at first.

Help Might Be Slow: If you need help, sometimes it can take a while to get it. That can be frustrating if your website is super important.

Not for Fancy Stuff: If you want to do really fancy things with your website, Azure DNS might not have all the tools you need. It's better for basic stuff.

In short, Azure DNS keeps your website running well, especially if you're already using Microsoft's other online tools. It's reliable, works globally, and can grow with your website. But watch your costs, be patient while learning, and make sure it has all the tools you need for your website project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Azure DNS helps me with my website in some important ways:

Problem 1: People from Everywhere

Benefit: Azure DNS helps people from all over the world access my website easily. It's like having a welcoming door that's open to everyone, no matter where they are.

Problem 2: Not Too Complicated

Benefit: Managing my website used to be confusing, but Azure DNS makes it simpler. It's like having all my website tools in one place, so I don't have to run around.

Problem 3: Growing My Website

Benefit: If my website gets bigger, Azure DNS can handle it. I can add more stuff to my website without it getting slow or messy.

Problem 4: Working with Other Tools

Benefit: If I use other Microsoft tools, Azure DNS fits right in. It's like all my online stuff is on the same shelf, making it easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure DNS?

Azure DNS is the best solution, as it helps in DNS management and Domain Purchasing, so we do not need to rely on other vendors to get different vendors for getting various services related to DNS. Since the same vendors provide both services, there is no chance of incompatibility. The interface is very user-friendly, and functionalities and features are visible and easy to navigate. Registering a domain name is easy if we consider the case for Azure. Everything is processed quickly, and we can go live in a few hours if we urgently need to deploy the domain. The solution is available 24*7 is very reliable, as mentioned in the SLA.

Moreover, we did not face any downtime regarding the azure services, nor the user suffers any loss. The significant advantage is that it supports all record types, including Type A and many more. Mazor azure integration is possible, like integration with Azure AD and other products of Azure, so it is beneficial for the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure DNS?

Filter and Search parameters need to be improved in Azure DNS. The primary control part never resides with the organization, and Microsoft Azure OEM manages it. This is a significant problem because sometimes we need major changes related to any new solution, and contacting them for help is a big task. The Technical support team takes time to resolve the issue. They must resolve the if the ticket is raised at the earliest because DNS is an essential feature for an organization. The solution is very costly as we can get many vendors with the same features on a low budget. Security facilities need to be improved as the protection method is limited, and the old encryption method is still used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our organization is using Azure DNS to host the DNS Domain in Azure to manage the DNS record. The best part about Azure DNS is that it is available for both public and Private. We can handle all the records related to DNS. Moreover, Microsoft is a very reliable brand in the market and does not need any introduction as it is used by major enterprises. So the solution delivers what it promises. The scaling capability of the product is excellent, and the performance is incredible. We never faced downtime for the organization and never loosed the website's availability, so the solution complies with the SLA agreement. Apart from this, it has built-in protection and security features and helps remove redundancy and duplicate DNS entries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure DNS?

The good thing is, both domain purchasing and DNS management on the registered domain can be done from a single portal,

as this is a great brand name , it promises the reliability and quality part,

This helps the Azure based companies to manage all there cloud services under a one billing space

it supports everything that is needed in the domain management space and it supports all major record types as ipv4 A-record c-name etc ..

the user interface is simple and straight forward, with search etc ..

it also has a advance management portal which comes in a little cost i believe , Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure DNS?

the record set search can improve , like we try to enter IP or C-name , the auto suggestion can show-up, others are really good and i think if you need just a DNS management tool then you can try different cheeper service providers, in this case Azure might be little costlier for the small business Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Azure DNS:

Azure DNS has been a great tool for the DNS domain registration and Management of the routs, its reliable , so definitely can go for it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?

DNS management surly requires a service provider and a helping management tool, so that we can focuses more on different things that we are intended to do, so this really helps us in moving towards our goals , Azure dose a grate job in giving us what is required Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure DNS?

Fast!

A big step up from registrar's DNS management.

Familiar Azure management portal, love it or hate it.

Managing everything about your web/cloud environment from a single pane of glass is killer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure DNS?

Difficult to justify cost, even if it isn't expensive.

The downside of the single pane of glass pro, is if there is an outage, you've put all your eggs in one basket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Azure DNS:

If you want single pane of glass management and otherwise will be paying for DNS, it's worth it. If you just need simple DNS services, stick with your registrar's included DNS management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Greatly simplified/integrated management of web/cloud workloads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Azure DNS?

Azure Portal itself is exquisitely developed and makes managing all resources a child's play. Azure DNS is no exception. You purchase a domain and get to manage all CNAME, A records from within the portal which is great. No additional external management required. It does what it's intended to do straightforwardly. It's great for those who want to bring everything under the Azure hood. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure DNS?

The Advanced Management Portal (similar to GoDaddy) that's external to the Azure Portal comes by default with all domains and allows you to achieve pretty much all those tasks. Granted the nameservers aren't managed by Azure at all (the only drawback). However, Azure DNS comes at an extra cost and if you're looking to save money, it's not a feasible option for your business or project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Domain management can be quite cumbersome and Azure DNS allows you to manage it through the same portal you've admired and become accustomed to. There's frankly no business problem related to it.

The benefits are not tremendous but the added advantage is that it brings domain management under Azure servers so reliability is guaranteed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
