The global network they ensure to have a lowest latency as possible. And it's easy to use also they support DNSSEC which is great to have. Some competitors dont have that kind of feature.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud DNS?**

They only support TLDs, don't have features such us traffic management load balancing, failover. It' better to have many supported domains so we can access more.

**What problems is Google Cloud DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One problem i encountered is the limited set of top level domains support by the service This can be an issue if you need to manage domains outside of the supported TLDs. To solve the problem i used the complimentary dns service that supports the tlds i need to manage.

  ### 9. Fastest DNS service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mani Kumar Reddy K. | Senior Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Google Cloud DNS?**

It's very, very fast. As far as I know, it directly updates the 8.8.8.8 service, which is used worldwide as the DNS resolver. It is very easy to set up and use.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud DNS?**

It's not easy to search when you have a lot of records. Multiple export and import are missing; alternatively, we should use the API to update multiple DNS records at once.

**What problems is Google Cloud DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduced our DNS lookup time significantly. We were making our website a PWA, and load time was essential, and a lot of it was consumed for DNS lookup; once we moved to Google Cloud DNS from Bluehost, it reduced our DNS lookup significantly.

  ### 10. Google Cloud DNS provides domain registration and management in one place

  ### 12. Google Cloud DNS - Fastest DNS, as I know

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Uganti M. | Marketing Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Google Cloud DNS?**

Google cloud DNS have the best pricing structure, the fastest response time, most secure and reliable features. As it's infrastructure is supported by Google Cloud, which has 100% carbon free environment, it's also good for the earth too. We have full control on the DNS settings of our domain without using any 3rd party tool or service. Another feature that I like is, if we want to update any record in the zone, we can easily do that, and it propagates much faster than other DNS services.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud DNS?**

There is nothing to dislike it fully, but still it lacks in some ways, like First time setup, managing or updating the records of the zone are a bit complicated comparing to another DNS services. Also, it's less user friendly in comparison to it's competitors.

**Recommendations to others considering Google Cloud DNS:**

We recommend to all of my review readers to try the google dns service as it is really fast and reliable. Yes, it's little bit confusing for setting up or managing for the first time, but after few times, you will become expert into it. Google Cloud DNS is fastest DNS according to my opinion and that is the must have from a DNS service provider.

**What problems is Google Cloud DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We, at our organisation, use Google DNS for all of our DNS related needs. After using it continuously, we realized that it is fast and reliable as it's availability doesn't compromise. It could handle from small to largest amount of user simultaneously.

  ### 13. Google Cloud DNS - One of the best in the market

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** HARI O. | Freelancer & Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Google Cloud DNS?**

1. It is one of the cheapest DNS offering product with premium quality of service.
2. It has one of the best DNS service in the market.
3. According to my opinion, it is the fastest premium DNS with most of facilities of DNS.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud DNS?**

1. It doesn't have any facility for dynamic DNS.
2. It's little bit hard for first time user's of Google Cloud DNS
3. Setup process could be more perfect comparing to one now.

**Recommendations to others considering Google Cloud DNS:**

Google Cloud DNS is one of the best Domain Name System (DNS) service running on the same infrastructure as Google. So it is comparatively fast, secure, scalable, reliable and cheap. I personally recommend you to use Google Cloud DNS irrespective of whether you are new user or expert, whether you are having low requirements or high. It have most of the features which are offered by others in the market plus it have it's own benefits, which other's don't have.

**What problems is Google Cloud DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Google Cloud DNS for all of your projects by setting up different DNS zones for different zones.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelo Jesse L. | Lead Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Google Cloud DNS?**

Google DNS is fast and stable. Compared to other DNS servers, I trust Google more because of its huge network. All types of records can be managed with helpful instructions for new admins. Easy IP management especially if you deployed in google cloud.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud DNS?**

Because of its complexity, the front end interface is slow. Nothing else, everything is good.

**What problems is Google Cloud DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All our other DNS solutions are now migrated to Google cloud DNS.

  ### 15. Quick and everywhere!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremiah F. | Franchise Support Help Desk Specialist, Internet, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Google Cloud DNS?**

Okay so, I normally use the DNS software my host provides, and just keep my domains hosted and routed all in one place. However, Google Cloud DNS updates much quicker and I inevitably migrated my domains and their DNS over and have been using it for almost 2 years now. It's incredibly accessible because it's Google!

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud DNS?**

The main thing I can point out that I dislike, is the navigation and user-friendliness. You'll notice while looking through settings and features that it's very technical and meant for someone who has a good head on their shoulders for networking (which I thankfully do!).

**Recommendations to others considering Google Cloud DNS:**

Promote more, because ya'll doin' the right thing!!

**What problems is Google Cloud DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes managing DNS very quick and easily accessible. Way quicker than other hosts because Google is better and more interconnected by default!

  ### 16. Google Cloud DNS: High Quality Authoritative DNS Serving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jowahir M. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Google Cloud DNS?**

I really like the reliability and low-latency access to the infrastructure. In simpler words, access to our Google server or infrastructure is global and we have 100% availability to the Authoritative Name Servers. We also have full control over your DNS settings and these are no longer at the control of any 3rd party registering our domains. This further enhances our IT infrastructure security. Pricing is great furthermore.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud DNS?**

Lack of dedicated support and intervention. Pricing for support is also really high and not comprehensive: this means that it does not covers all aspect that are sometimes needed for a custom setup.

**Recommendations to others considering Google Cloud DNS:**

I recommend without hesitation. Worth using.

**What problems is Google Cloud DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A secured website platform with full DNS control for our GPS company.

  ### 17. Google Cloud DNS Review

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud DNS?**

In the period I have used Google Cloud DNS, I have not encountered any issues and therefore do not dislike anything about it.

**Recommendations to others considering Google Cloud DNS:**

With Google Cloud DNS you are assured of proper documentation to guide you on the usage and an easy to use user interface.

**What problems is Google Cloud DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 18. Google Cloud DNS: Full Control On Your DNS Records

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabelle F. | Director, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Google Cloud DNS?**

The platform is so user friendly that even a non-IT person can easily find his way through. I love the DNS management features within Google Cloud Console. This provides full control of all features as compared to 3rd party domain registrars who would usually charge additionally for DNS features like DNSSEC.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud DNS?**

To be honest, at this point I have no negative review. Maybe to provide free support and faster support. Currently support takes a minimum of 24 hours and support staff does not intervene and act directly. Furthermore, support is not provided for 3rd party services who use Google Cloud DNS.

**Recommendations to others considering Google Cloud DNS:**

I recommend without hesitation. Outstanding experience. Great pricing. Best services.

**What problems is Google Cloud DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Cloud DNS enabled us to have full control over the security of our IT infrastructure, being connected via domain.

  ### 19. What is Google Cloud DNS?

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis M. | Diseñador de páginas web, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Google Cloud DNS?**

What I like most about Google Cloud DNS is the response speed when making requests to the server. When visiting a web page, not only a single DNS request is generated, but depending on the content we are accessing, there can be many requests for IP address resolution. This latter point causes the access time to increase if the DNS server is slow, overloaded with requests, or unable to resolve the request itself by forwarding it to another machine... These DNS servers are specially optimized to protect you against phishing, malware, and all kinds of threats to your security or the privacy of your data.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud DNS?**

What is most displeasing is that there are already free DNS servers with greater speed, privacy, and security against malware, phishing...

**Recommendations to others considering Google Cloud DNS:**

Free, secure, fast response speed compared to other DNS servers. Direct competition with Cloudflare DNS...

**What problems is Google Cloud DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems it solves include saving money, as it allows us not to have private DNS servers, the privacy the company needs, the speed of fast responses... The reduction in maintenance costs of the servers we previously had, since the traffic goes through Google Cloud DNS servers...

  ### 20. Simple, quick, and easy to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn T. | Owner and Lead Software Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Google Cloud DNS?**

It is quick and easy to set up a domain and to set the records for the domain. The new/updated records propagate quickly, which is great when switching your domain to a new server with a new IP. The system advises when a record may have potential issue and suggests possible modifications.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud DNS?**

Adding and editing TXT records is a bit different from standard DNS services and can be a bit confusing to those that may be inexperienced.

**Recommendations to others considering Google Cloud DNS:**

Google Cloud DNS is a wonderful and cheap DNS solution should other DNS services that come with domain registration fail.

**What problems is Google Cloud DNS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company has a domain registered with another company that provides DNS services. No matter how many times I updated the DNS records, no matter how long I waited, the records never propagated. This lead me to search for other alternatives and that's when we turned to Google Cloud DNS. Google Cloud DNS is quick and easy to set up, the records propagate fast, and it's right there with the rest of the Google Cloud Services that we use. Google Cloud DNS has helped speed up server migrations with the quick record propagation and ease of use.
