My team and I have been using Atatus for the past several years to monitor and optimize our e-commerce marketplace, and it has really helped us detect and optimize application bottlenecks.
The most useful and beneficial features we have been heavily relying on are:
1. Big-picture analytics dashboard to quickly monitor the overall health
2. Detailed performance analysis of the specific application end-points. The best part is that it gives a breakdown per application layer (e.g. how much time is consumed by external API, DB fetch, calculations, etc)
3. Super easy integration (at least with NodeJs)
4. Also it's quite easy to get started with the tool not only for tech people, because of an intuitive interface
Also, Atatus has great Customer Support. We had a non-technical issue with the subscription because of my mistake and they resolved it quickly, without making me pay twice.
Note: all these primarily apply to the APM module, which we were using the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We had no critical or specific issues during the usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've used atatus since it's early days - around 5+ years. It's evolved a lot in that time and has allowed us to identify and respond to issues before customers even report them. In addition, it allowed us to analyse and identify performance issues that we didn't realise existed, at one point reducing our download time by 6x due to some insights. It's been reliable and useful in the time that we've used it - no issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use while having great functionality. Literally from the first hours of use, the system becomes useful. It's very rich in various metrics. Basic features work immediately after installation. Easy to implement and support team is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) Supports Laravel only. Yii2 needs additional custom code to send extended data
2) UI is on the complicated side and requires time to figure everything out. It's not even a dislike, but we had a few confusing moments.
3) In "slow" requests analysis («Transactions» or «Session Traces»), it's impossible to see the exact file or exact row with request code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's easy to set up, simple to use, has great metrics, and is simple to pinpoint pain points in the app. Great customer support. I currently use APM and Infra and love how they show performance bottlenecks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At the moment I don't have anything that I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) Simple installation steps
2) Customer support is excellent
3) This tool can replace three-fours of tools in the industry. we can have container status, application trace and additionally we can have browser-based information in tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not a kind of dislike however, the tool requires a few changes to be included in the code base. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
its easy to implement, the services we are using are actually helping us achiving our business goals Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As of now nothing related to disliking as we are fully utilising Atatus for our business needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The pricing is of course great in comparison to other offers on the market. Surprisingly this does not reduce the products capabilities in meaningfull ways.
The APM is at about the same level of information as AppDynamics, the Synthetic Monitoring and Infrastructure monitoring work very well as well.
I also have to add, that the team(s) behind it react quickly to RFCs and Bug-Reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a major downside you only have credit card as a billing option. It would be great if for example paypal was offered, so that the credit card information doesn't need to be shared.
Additionally the APM has an issue with url-rewriting leading to too few business transactions, since only the filename of the executed file is considered. This is being worked on now to my knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like Metrics like FCP and TTFB, so after some improvements we saw improvements in metrics. So, we can trust them.
Session details is cool feature, we see a history of requests and detect weakpoints.
And Support. Yes, this is the best feature of Atatus. Something we haven't noticed in other solutions - their Support is active, tries to help and dev team is always looking forward to improve our experience. I can say that was one of main reasons we chose Atatus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No Sampling. From tools like Atatus you'd expect built-in sampling support. They provide pricing based on number of data but don't provide solution to reduce it. We had to spent time to implement our own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First and foremost, the support is excellent. I've had some issues setting up (due to our configuration) and the support team has been really helpful.
The most exciting thing about Atatus is its simplicity. I've used numerous other APM tools previously and I've always had trouble finding information to help me understand what was going on. Atatus provides a really clear UI which helps me quickly find the information I'm looking for. And as most of my team is junior when is comes to web development, it was really nice to find a tool that did not require days of training in order to be able to use it. Not much is fact. The only downside I see is the pricing based on the number of hosts: I would like to use horizontal scaling, and in that case, I would end up spending more money on monitoring than on hosting itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We were pleasantly surprised when saw how much data is extracted, calculated and presented with just a simple script. And these guys have the best support! We were able to customise our data collection with many custom properties to see exactly what we needed; We had some problems, reported them and they were fixed in a matter of days; We had a specific feature request and they were implemented in a couple of weeks. Atatus has some hidden limitations for the amount of data that could be collected for a Trial or on different paid plans. But it is not displayed anywhere in the UI. We could only guess why data has such linear cut-off points. Thanks for the support in clarifying it and lifting restrictions, but it would be better if this info was available right away, not hidden. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
