It's straightforward to create content when you have the templates built and set up. Used alongside with Commerce Tools to help create categories . For front end creation, it does a lot well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It doesn't do everything and the fact that there isn't any HTML limits what you can change/add to your site. That, along with the fact that for an e-commerce site you have to ensure all the software links up and matches otherwise, everything breaks and can make it difficult to catch problems quickly. Also, with caching, it can take changes nywhere from 45 minutes to and hour and a half to pull through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Amplience has a great way to organise content with schemas and publish content with slots. Recently, got to know about fancy media set api and personalization service. Visualisation is a good feature for editors to visualise content without front end or tech knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Definitely, not developer friendly! Caching issue has troubled me for a while now (sometimes it takes minutes to hours) to reflect changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Amplience is a great content management system that makes creating, modifying, and scheduling content a breeze. The ability to create and reuse templates is essential for scaling projects and new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not many downsides to Amplience, but I would appreciate more built-in shortcuts. As a content developer, I often re-update content many times per day, including updated individual content items and slots. If there was a keyboard shortcut to perform these actions, it would make my life a lot easier! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That you can move images into different folders and it doesn't effect the url names and file paths on websites. Which again is brilliant for people managing several websites for different brands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you name a folder you have a short amount of time to edit the name before it times out, which can be annoying when working on tight deadlines. Sometimes due to it timing out I think I have named a folder, and it auto exits the editing process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
