Sometimes flights cannot be booked and you have to call customer service to resolve. Currently the customer service center keeps PST hours and I am in EST. This can be frustrating having to wait 3 hours to know if you have a flight booked or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main downside (and I think downside is a strong word for this) I’ve encountered is the guest booking functionality. Unlike regular users, guests cannot be easily searched within the platform, making it cumbersome to locate their information. Instead, I have to generate and print a report just to find guest users, which adds an extra step to the process. While this isn’t a dealbreaker, it would be much more efficient if guest travelers were searchable in the same way as regular users. Overall, this is the only feature I would change. Frequent unexplained errors and the newest update makes it more difficult to view a traveler's itinerary for approval. There are now multiple steps/clicks and different tabs opening just to view booking details. Customer support does not always provide a timely solution for simple bookings and provide vague reasons as to why we see errors when trying to book. Our account manager has done a great job in assisting with any questions and following up with open cases and trying to provide solutions, but most of the issues don't depend on her, but rather the customer support and technical teams. I love the fact that we can go to one site to book travel arrangements for our employees. Once you set everyone up, the site stores all their important information, including rewards information. It's an annoyance that even when reservations are canceled, we are still charged the booking fees. I know they're not much, but having to explain to all our employees that they still need to input this small fee into their expense report is a headache. The most helpful aspects of Egencia are that I can keep a completely itinerary all together without having to book flights, hotel, car separately. I don't like that it seems to take long to get things accomplished by phone because the reps do not speak English as their first language. The plateform offers a great variety of accomodation options at competitve prices, making it easy to find the right choice for different needs. The ease of implementation and integration into our system was seamless, and it's been incredibly user-friendly for both myself and my team. I would like the ability to create a new booking from an existing booking. That way the traveler name and hotel location are auto filled by the software so that all I have to do is enter new travel dates.
