Very easy to use and setup, quite reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was challenging to get AirDroid running at the same time with a similar app, but this is not related to AirDroid itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Remote control, and how fast it works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I disliked the fact that My current license had an increase of 100% from one year to another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Air Droid is an excellent program to transfer data or to back up your android device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Airdroid is easy to deploy and, once on the device, making changes and rolling them out is simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like all software it takes a little learning and some of the menus aren't as intuitive as I would prefer. However, the Airdroid support team are very responsive have listened to our feedback and continue to improve things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The solution is, overall, pretty easy to use for a non-IT person like me. I manage a team of designers and some company tablets for easier collaboration and mobility. I'm by no means a tech person, but I'm still able to easily manage everything on a daily basis. Some of the things I think can help others in similar situations like me:
- It's cloud-based. There's no need to install several applications. All you need is a browser where you can see every tablet, and a desktop app if you want to remotely connect to any of the devices.
- Straight forward & easy to use. Overall speaking, the interface is quite user friendly. I can get to places without needing to go through manuals. Part of this is probably because a lot of its functions resolve around managing devices, instead of more advanced things like giving very detailed access rights for each app.
- It's feature packed. Although I only use some functions on a daily basis (remotely see the screens, uploading assets, and etc), but there's a lot more to it. I think if you are in outdoor advertising field or designing retail/service oriented interactive solutions, there's this kiosk function that can be super helpful. It basically helps you customize how people can use these devices.
Lastly, I think it's quite affordable for someone who has a few dozen devices at work that needed to be monitored. The entry price is quite low (I believe it's roughly around $100 USD or similar to that) and shouldn't be a problem for most design/advertising people like me. Overall speaking there isn't a lot of major issues that stop me from using the product, but still a few things that I think can be improved:
- Some of the function description is a bit misleading. Although it's a small one, but sometimes I find it hard to understand exactly how a function works. Also they should probably take a look at the user experience design as I've noticed that there's a lot of things that you can do but are hidden deep for some cases.
- It's more like a tool for you to monitor and manage devices. If you're looking for some detailed access rights for company apps then it doesn't do that.
- Lack of iOS support. Some of my staff's tablets are iPads, but apparently the solution is primarily for Android. If you' have a big iOS inventory you should talk to their people first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our company develops our own apps and implements them on our company devices for employees to use while working. AirDroid Business allows us to provide immediate troubleshooting whenever our employees are having trouble using the software, as we can easily and remotely connect to the problematic device to diagnose the issue. I really appreciate the app testing functionality, allowing me to run my beta app to see if there's any configuration problems before officially releasing an app update to all of the devices that have the app. This software also allows for me to revert back to an older version if I realize there's a problem with the app after updating. There's also a new feature that I've enjoyed so far, which sends me a notification whenever a device stops responding and/or is using too much data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no problem with the app, but if there is something I'd like to improve, I think it would be functionality to see a dashboard of my devices' overall performance on a month-over-month or year-over-year basis, as oppose to the current single day view. The current dashboard is great and allows us to have a glance at our devices' issues and identify problematic devices, but I'd personally like to see the patterns on a longer term to have more information available. Also, more customizable filters on the dashboards to create custom views would be a nice feature from an operational standpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the Controlling Remote function over multiple types of mobiles Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe you need to invest more time in the development of the desktop application to support full admin function like the web app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Logical and clear interface, fast response in remote control feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Things like "remote control" are hidden as a small icon without labels, Needs a better interface for help and support online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
