Marketo is the most sophisticated marketing operations platform I have used. It was easy to impliment, has enterprise scale, more robust feature set for more advanced workflows, easy to use interface, and seemlessly integrates with all of my other MarTech and SaleTech solutions. I use Marketo every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any major complaints. No product is perfect, but Marketo does everything I need it to. It may be a little more expensive than a solution like HubSpot, but for good reason as you can create more complex work flows, utilize a more robust feature set, and opporate at enterpise scale. If you want to create a most elaborated landing page or email It's very difficult. Basically you can't customize the code. Also it's very difficult to add the social media pixels on the landing pages. The interface is not intuitive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how customizable it is. The ability to create detailed customer journeys and automate follow-ups saves so much time. The segmentation and personalization features are top-notch, allowing me to target specific audiences with relevant content. The reporting dashboards are also great for tracking campaign success and tweaking strategies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It’s not very beginner-friendly. The interface feels a bit outdated, and it takes a while to get the hang of things. Even basic tasks like email creation can feel overly complicated at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integration feature works across multiple channels like social media, email, and text. Pretty user-friendly. I like it's consistency across all channels and it's quite easy to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The high cost. I no longer use the platform because of this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my time using Marketo, I feel like I was using a workhorse of a marketing automator. The rule sets and campaigns you can build out are extensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Marketo still feels dated and years behind some of its other competitors. The user experience feels similar to that of a Windows 98 computer and the customer support could be more helpful. I oft find myself relying on non-Adobe materials to help me get through the learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main disadvantage of Magento open source is there is no support from Adobe team, and code complaxity, its difficult to learn and develop.
another disadvantage is its speed, but we can overcome if we use Magento as backend and go with any headless FE Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate the robust automation features that Adobe Marketo Engage offers. The ability to create personalized, multi-channel marketing campaigns with ease is a standout feature. Its integration with CRM systems and detailed analytics tools allows for better targeting and more informed decision-making, ultimately enhancing lead generation and conversion rates. One of the challenges with Adobe Marketo Engage is the steep learning curve for new users. The platform's interface can feel outdated and unintuitive at times, making it difficult to navigate without extensive training. Additionally, the cost can be prohibitive for smaller businesses, especially when considering the need for additional modules or integrations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
