I have been use Marketo now for over fice years and I have seen just how far the tool has come since beginning my working career. It is fasinating just how quickly Adobe adapts and changes with current trends. The layout makes it easy to use and navigate. Their customer support is quick to respond and help out with any issues you may encounter. Also, Marketo being integrated to Salesforce makes working with the two process campaigns and lead acceleration smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not encountered much negatives with this tool personally. I would say becasue in my company we do not utilize EVERY tool it has to offer so there could be some tools that we do not use that other users have issues with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using Adobe Marketo Engage for several years, and it's features and functionaility never let me down. From a simple automated flow, through to it's analytics and revenue explorer features, it's a great easy to use tool for my company. Its customer support and success team are always on hand to help and advise on best practices when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features within Adobe Marketo Engage could have improved functionality, but the platform is constantly being improved, so i look forward to seeing the next releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Experience Manager is a great multifunctional CMS, where you can easily manage your assets and pages in a simple way.
Every day, I spend more time creating new assets, experience fragments, pages and updating their content insead of navigating in the tool.
I couldn't believe how easy it's to reuse experience fragments across multiple pages and customize them when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the learning curve is the biggest challenge. When you start learning, there isn't enough information available online, but it's so easy to understand AEM that you can overcome the learning curve quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Adobe Experience Manager, both for our content management system for our website and also for emails using Campaign. AEM Is a vital tool in managing our web content. It provides the ability to create templates and structured components to build a unified design, branding, and consistent placement of navigation throughout sites and across the university, but also allows the flexibility to personalize and customize pages. Recently, we were able to use an HTML component to drop in just enough JavaScript to automate a sorting of cards for a feature on our site while still keeping the template and branding of the system in place. We use Campaign to send email to our faculty and workshop participants. The analytics we can see in Campaign’s reports help us determine message delivery and gives us insights on how to improve our messaging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the problems that we particularly have and would love to see a lot of improvements with is the we use cloud manager for deployments. Specifically with the managed services, we have a lot of issues with the fact that it is one pipe and one pipeline. So if we do a deployment, we have one thing at a time and you have to wait for one batch and one deployment to go through. So typically if you push one thing through the stage, you have to wait and then it goes to prime, and then if you have another batch that you need to send up, you usually typically have about an hour or four hours wait while everybody's doing validation and then it has to go to production. So we need to find a way to either have multi pipes or multi-stage ability to be able to get more things staged or ready to go or be able to have a better deployment mechanism to get things into production because that wait time and that it's just the cycle is just hard. Its strength lies in creating and personalizing all experiences within the application, so all members of the business can work together on separate application categories depending on their roles.
It helps in decreasing time moving items, information, storage, and making educated decisions from data, without moving back and forth between applications while also integrating all useful external third-party applications that work best for the business all in one location.
In full, a user can access either or all information analytics, images, information design or data, user registrations and restrictions, content management, alongside other tools and settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Meeting points with external applications will be based on the preference of the project owner; so if an employee can work better using a different application, this may become an issue unless the employee is well-skilled.
It may be better suited for entrepreneurs who find themselves scaling on to their success already with a consistent following of consumers who come back regularly, without the need to use the software developer options or analytics, so it can be better used for content consistency across their websites, social media channels, and mobile applications instead. I like the seamless integration with Adobe tools and third-party platforms, making it super convenient and marketing work more consistent. I love the ability to customize campaigns and tailor them to the target audience. I used it now and then for my film marketing and even so, I'm still finding new features to make it more worth while like advanced analytics and multi-channel automation. The investment in time is necessary, but when you get into a groove, the fruits of your labor are worth it. Implementation was pretty find once I got going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you're new to marketing automation (like i was), this could definitely be a daunting tool. Especially the learning curve. Over the course of 7 months I used it about biweekly. It wasn't easy to use at first, especially as a team of one. Customer support can be time consuming so I turned to youtube a lot for help. Also the abundance of features can be overhwhelming. Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) is especially suited for rapid scaling, tailoring, and integration, and is an ideal eCommerce solution to rise to any size business. It is highly flexible and offers customized eCommerce solutions, along with thousands of extensions and advanced features for marketing, Search Engine Optimization, and analytics. I especially love its integration with Adobe products, omnichannel, and solid security. That allows multi-store support and detailed reporting to further improve the business overall. However, it needs to be in the hands of someone who knows the system for it to be used optimally. It is very easy to use for me and the things that I like in Magento commerce easier implementation of work and I use it as a regular basis or 2-3 times in a week. I've been using Marketo for over 7 years, before Adobe purchased them, and I expected there to be more enhancements to the platform when Adobe did takeover, such as AI-powered suggestions and ehanced reporting. I use marketo on a daily basis running email marketing campaigns. I report on campaign and audience performance regularly, and I wish there were some things I could report on in Marketo that simply aren't available. Marketo needs to have better integrations with the major CRM's to better track revenue without having to navigate to outside sources and learn more systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Inability to trigger email journeys based off of product-usage for my B2B SaaS org. Some competitors can do this, but they're systems are so much worse. We even have an open API and Marketo still can't trigger off of desired events. It forces us to have marketing campaigns in 2 different systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What stands out most about Adobe Marketo Engage is its robust ability to handle complex marketing automation workflows, especially for large-scale campaigns. The platform excels in personalising customer experiences with features like advanced segmentation, dynamic content, and lead nurturing. Its integration capabilities with CRM systems and other MarTech tools streamline operations and enable seamless data sharing, making it a powerful tool for cross-channel engagement. The analytics and reporting tools are comprehensive, providing deep insights into campaign performance, which helps optimize strategies in real-time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like ay other tool, it takes time to get familiar with the interface and get to know it. For new users, my adivce will be to be patient, tap into the Adobe Marketo community where plenty of support is provided. Even connect with your local Marketo User Group leaers if you have any burning questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the design and how conveniently all the buttons are located. It's super important to me and it makes it very easy to implement this app into my work routine. I really struggle with bad design in other similar products. I'm not sure about AEM customer support since I don' really use it, but in general Adobe's customer support is good. I wish there were more templates. I don't know what exactly I'm expecting, I just want more templates. The frequency of use would increase if it had templates for all possible scenarios, since it will be easy and quick to integrate all the necessary stuff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
