First and foremost being open source is what I love the most. It allows the community to contribute their most desired features and makes it affordable for everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I submitted a feature request to add an integration for SavvyCal, and it does not look like the contributers had time yet for it. Perhaps I will take a stab at it myself someday and raise a PR! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am seriously impressed with the Active Pieces team and the huge progress they have made in such a short period since launching shaping up to be a real contender to Zapier and Make. The flexibility of the smaller team allows for faster development and had a range of the new OpenAI modules before Make did! This shows they listen to their customers and build accordingly. Support is amazing, and have personally spoken with the team and they go out of their way to help. Really excited for what the future holds, this is a gem in automations. Thank you! As they are still building they do lack some ability in applications like Google Docs as compared to the big comapnies like Make or Zapier but I am not worried, they release updates all the time and know it will come. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The standout feature of Activepieces is its user-friendly interface, which simplifies automation for even non-tech-savvy users. It's incredibly helpful for new entrepreneurs due to its ease of setting up complex workflows. The platform offers robust integration options, allowing seamless connectivity between various apps. This level of customization and flexibility is a significant upside, enabling users to tailor their automation needs precisely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One potential downside of Activepieces could be its limited recognition compared to more established platforms like Zapier. This lesser-known status may lead to fewer community resources and user guides available, which can be a hurdle for new users seeking community-based support or advanced troubleshooting. Active Pieces, a Y Combinator business, offers great automation deals. Initially, I purchased 200,000 automations per month for life, and liked it so much that I upgraded to 10 million automations monthly, reducing costs from other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main challenge is the heavy use of API calls and webhooks, which may be difficult for non-technical users, though more native pieces are being added daily. It's honestly not a huge deal because folks can learn to use AI to read the API docs and write the snippets needed to connect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find that the tool is really easy to use to build the flows. It has great tools that are really helpful in the building: version control, log of the runs, testing of each step, and more!
With the support of the community, the number of pieces to use in your integrations are growing each day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For me as developer, I think it lacks some flexibility in building the pieces. For instance, things like:
- it could offer multiple ways of authenticate in one piece
- passing data to being used inside of a piece
The whitelabel allows you to customize at some level, but it could be extended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how intuitive Active Pieces is when creating flows. I also like the price point compared to competitors in the automation space and the number of tasks you get is amazing at this price point. Also the fact that Active Pieces is Open Source is a huge selling point for us as transparency and authenticity is a huge factor when deciding a company to invest in. Hopefully just a matter of time, but more integrations are required for Active Pieces to fulfill our workflow needs, however they do have an API and Webhooks so with the right know-how most integrations are already available, but would like the process to be fast and as simple as possible to free up resources else where. Activepieces har got this clean, no-nonsense interface that takes complex automation and makes it feel like second nature. Support has been good too.
Their templates are top-notch, especially the latest ones for ChatGPT. Triggers? They've got them by the minute, hour, day—you name it. Diving into it, there's no need for a map or instructions. I just started poking around the templates and before I knew it, my workflow was running itself. It's that straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their integrations are a bit on the lean side. Still, what I need is there, and I'm on the edge of my seat for what's next. More integrations and more templates is coming, so it will be fun to see if they can match the likes of Zapier etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that Activepieces offer various complicated features for automation with a very simple and intuitive interface.
I also like that Activepieces has a lot of great "templates" for the automations. The newly added ones regarding ChatGPT are simply super handy.
Activepieces also have great triggers like timing trigger, such as Every hour, Every Day, Every minute etc.
And the user experience is smooth and convenient. I don't really need specific guide, just exploring templates and I have been able to create the "flows" to automate my workflow with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integrations can definitely be better. Currently the apps integrated into Activepieces are limited, and the speed of apps integration can be faster. Anyway, most of the apps I need are there now and I am excitedly waiting for new integrations to come in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The completely customizable and fluid builder. The Code module is great and much better than Zapier. This took me less than an hour to rebuild everything I had in Zapier. The Community is second to none and it is very easy to install via docker on Windows 11, Asustor NAS, QNAP Nas, and in the cloud.
For us we process over 5000 runs a day, so it was getting incredibly expensive on zapier for my small business, ActivePieces has given us a cost effective way to automate everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited connections, sometimes slow interface, and difficult Piece building process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They are automating automation by developing automations using A.I. -- this enables them to grow fast and one day perhaps match Zapier/Make in terms of total working connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
not enough working pieces to do everything you want when they do support an app. Like they may have 200ish apps connected but you also may have to get dirty with coding to make the API action you want to occur in the connected app by creating a piece. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
