We only use a2z and have since 2007. I like the floor plan tool and how easy it is for our exhibitors to secure and pay for booth space. It seems simple, but the fact that exhibitors can do the majority of the things themselves is a huge timesaver for our staff and frees us up to seek out new sponsors and exhibitors.

I really wish some of the reporting tools - especially the new Beta functions were more intuitive. It's sometimes difficult to get to the data I'm trying to get to without building and then combining multiple reports.

Seems like when they were bought by Personify there was staff turnover, as expected. I lost a few good sales and account team members. We used their virtual connection suite for the virtual exhibit hall and I didn't like that the basic package for exhibitors includes a very limited number of "perks", if an exhibitor wants additional downloadable documents or videos or an additional list of attendees they will have to pay extra. I think the package should be all-inclusive. Also, I didn't like that there is no chatroom functionality for the exhibitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being able to access all of your events from a central location makes it easy to run year-over-year reporting and seeing a company's participation over the years from a single screen is incredibly valuable for the sales team. The online booth sales contract is highly configurable and able to accommodate a variety of workflows streamlining the sales process so the sales team has more time to sell. Operational efficiency is also a key factor in using this product- changes are logged, reports are easy to run and custom sql is available for business-specific reporting. Sometimes updates will be released without too much guidance. We are typically able to figure them out, but it would be helpful to get an e-mail with any updates that are coming (and how to navigate those updates) especially when the floorplan interface is impacted. The system is extremely intuitive and easy to learn ( I am not a "techy" person). But even better, the A2Z/Personify team offers amazing customer support as needed. The team members I have had the pleasure of working with are always willing to jump on a call to help and truly offer the personal touch that lots of large, tech companies sometimes struggle with perfecting. Its hard to come up with negatives, but a "quick guide" or FAQ sheet on what reports will achieve different forms of tracking would maybe be helpful for some. It's not a flexible or easy to customize software. They came out with a new reporting functionality, we didn't get a change yet to evaluate. Existing reports are not flexible. You have to contact A2Z to create custom reports for you, you can't do it yourself. Even with that functionality is still somewhat limited.
They provide integration with SF, but it's not customizable. We made it work, but still experience issues with how to runs overnight syncs- it deletes all the records and then recreates them instead of updating/ adding new records. They offer a robust tool that encompasses all of our show needs (floorplan, conference mgt tool, front end website and mobile app) in an easy to use platform, making my job as a show organizer easier.
