First, and most important, is the performance- all test and live restores are quick and complete. Second, the dashboard is well laid out and easy to navigate, no problems understanding and working the system. Third, new accounts are automatically added, which is great for an organization that adds Teams almost every day. I enjoy feeling confident that my M365 data is backed up and available outside of Microsoft. I do not really have any downsides. Of course selling a service on top of M365 generates the inevitable question about why we are paying for M365 and need additional services with a monthly cost on top. Hornet Security is affordable and once the use case and importance of the data the organization stores in M365 are presented the platform is seen as a good investment. The scheduling process offered by 365 Total Backup platform is simplistic & consistent since managing our backups for multiple clients can be done in its centralized management console.
We can customize the retention policy so that our compliance & recovery process aligns suitably with our clients who wants granularity in keeping multiple versions of the files.

We faced a few challenges with data retention policies while trying to implement one of our client backup requirements.
It would be great if we can opt for maximum versioning demands so that it aligns perfectly with the request made by our clients for their data retention preferences.

Easy way to onboard a new customer. Solution ready out of box experience. Swift and helpful chat support make troubles disappear in minutes, one of the most vital points. A new licensing plan was a bit tricky initially but has turned out to be more cost-saving. Yet some end customers don't want to back up all company data (they have more O365 licenses than they want mailboxes to be backed up). I'm not able to decide on what time backups take place. Full mailbox recovery to the *.pst file is sometimes troublesome because big mailbox files are divided into a few smaller ones. Merging them back into one is time-consuming. It's a pity you can not change the invoicing date, only the payment option. If you started your MSP account and services in the middle of the month, they would charge you on the anniversary date, which can't be changed. So you are charged for last month's utilization, but the invoice is issued not at the end of the month but on the anniversary date, which isn't evident to the accountant. Onboarding a new client is a breeze. The steps are laid out clearly and the whole process takes less than 5 minutes.
Once signed up, the status of the client's backup is also clear to see.

I would like to add value to the package by sending my client a daily email confirmation that their backup has been completed successfully, or automatically alerting them to any issues.
