Digital Samba avait de nombreux outils utiles pour les enseignants lors de l'utilisation de la plateforme. Les étudiants appréciaient écrire sur le tableau blanc. Ils appréciaient également regarder des vidéos et travailler en collaboration. Le système était relativement facile à apprendre pour quelqu'un de nouveau dans l'environnement d'enseignement en ligne. Le système était difficile à contrôler si vous aviez des étudiants dans des salles de sous-groupes. Peu importe le soutien et l'encouragement des règles des salles de sous-groupes, nous avions toujours des étudiants dans les salles de sous-groupes écrivant sur le tableau et parlant à la caméra au lieu de terminer la tâche en cours. Je n'aimais pas non plus la façon dont les présentations PowerPoint sont téléchargées dans le système. La mise en forme est souvent perturbée. Je préfère simplement télécharger un PDF. Cela annule alors l'intérêt de mettre des liens utiles dans les présentations. Ce qui est une autre chose, le partage de liens est très peu pratique. Je veux pouvoir simplement mettre tous les liens requis dans un PowerPoint pour la classe et parcourir les diapositives en douceur. Je ne peux pas parce que les liens font sortir les enfants de la plateforme lorsqu'ils cliquent dessus. Je dois les mettre manuellement sur le tableau, ce qui prend du temps, ou dans le chat, où ils se perdent facilement. Il doit y avoir un bien meilleur système pour conserver la mise en forme originale et l'utilisation des liens. J'ai aimé l'outil 'fonctionnalités avancées' lors de la création des réunions. Il donne à l'hôte beaucoup de contrôle sur le déroulement et l'organisation de l'événement. J'ai été impressionné par toutes les options de personnalisation. L'événement en direct donnait l'impression d'appartenir entièrement à mon entreprise et non associé à Samba. This platform is a great resource to utilize for online learning. There are many features that work well in an educational setting. Educators are able to upload any materials, change settings and formatting, turn on and off both their permissions and students with ease, move students into breakout rooms, and write on the board. While the pencil draw tool is sometimes not as smooth in the writing for a math teacher, it does serve as a nice feature. Students often get kicked out of the classroom. In order to keep track of who is coming and going, I have to enable the lobby and it can become challenging to continue allowing students in. Screen sharing often causes students to get kicked out of the platform. It can sometimes be time consuming to turn on and off tool board permissions for students to write on the board. Support team responds really quickly and are knowledgeable. One of my favourite features is that they are completely HTML5 allowing for easy integration via iFrames into other websites without losing features etc. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

I like the view and ease of the tools. The view of Samba Live is very much in tune with current platforms. It feels like you are on a social media live platform. Even someone who is not familiar with the platform will be able to figure out the tools. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

The best aspect of the software is how quick it is to get a session sent out and get people connected with just the link. Has all the features you would expect - screen sharing, presentation etc. A very useful bit of software in the right circumstances. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.

Connectivity can be an issue but it is difficult to say whether this is down to the software or the host's connection. However I have seen more drops than with a more established meeting solution e.g. skype. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
