I've had great experience using Smartsheet, especially with its ability to set formulas and link one sheet to another. This feature really simplifies the process when pulling information from multiple sheets into one. Reseña recopilada por y alojada en G2.com.
However, I've encountered a few issues that have made my work a bit more challenging.
Our organization has a folder where all project templates are stored. When we start a new project, we typically copy the entire folder of templates to a new location. While the folder appears in the new location, the individual sheets within the folder don’t show up immediately. It usually takes around 5 to 10 minutes for the sheets to appear, but if I copy a single sheet instead of the entire folder, it appears instantly. This delay when copying multiple sheets is something I’ve noticed.
Additionally, I have around seven sheets linked to a main sheet. These seven sheets are regularly updated throughout the project lifecycle. However, the main sheet takes a significant amount of time to update and reflect the changes made in the linked sheets. The delays can be frustrating, especially when the project requires real-time updates.
I’ve tested these issues across multiple networks, all of which consistently provide speeds of at least 10 Mbps, so I’m confident the problem isn’t related to network speed. I believe it may be a software malfunction rather than a network issue. Reseña recopilada por y alojada en G2.com.

I like the workflow. I like how we can move lines from sheet to sheet. I like how it creates a flow for our company to work through. I like how all the information - comments and attachments included - will move from sheet to sheet. It allows us to have vendors and clients collaborate with us. When SmartSheet updates, it can be challenging to relearn the new steps. But, this is a downside to anything updating. The update is helpful, just takes some time to get used to. Our "Account Rep" can be very not helpful at times. Delayed responses to emails. And being too focused on a meeting agenda and time frame, not giving me time to discuss the issues I need help resolving. I don't think he quite understands what our company does and how our work flows. He's asked and sought to understand, but there always seems to be a disconnect when we discuss what we do and what SmartSheets can help us do. Smartsheet is great because it automates everything that other spreadsheet programs do not. It is very easy to input information and as soon as you right click, your options are endless. It makes everything easy to impliment with data you've entered in the cells, as if the system can read what you wanted and it has quickly replaced other spreadsheet programs I use. It's like this program can read my mind to know what I want to do before I've even started. I use this program daily. Smartsheet is a cross between MS Excel and MS Project. It makes it very easy for a novice to build out a project plan. There are tons of templates. I love the drag and drop feature to move tasks around. The pricing is very attractive, you only license for users who create content. A previous employer, we had 8 PM's and 30 consultants. we only had to license the PM's. I have used it to automatically send out emails based upon info in certain cells. One item I miss is the option to use a work effort in each task. There is a duration, say the task will take 5 days to complete. But the actual work effort is much lower, like 6 hours of work, which isn't easy to capture. Reseña recopilada por y alojada en G2.com.
Lo que mas me gusta de Smartsheet es que es una plataforma en donde puedes crear diversos proyectos en donde puedes llevar el control y seguimiento de los mismos y que todo esta en la nube. De esta manera al crear proyectos que se deben de trabajar con equipos de trabajo, todos pueden acceder a la plataforma hacer cambios o modificaciones o colocar actualizaciones sin la necesidad de estar utilizando el correo electrónico. En realidad hasta el día de hoy no he podido detectar alguna característica que no me haya gustado. Me parece que es una gran herramienta de negocios. Quizá en un futuro cercano me encuentre con alguna fucnionalidad que me haga falta y es entonces donde podría mencionar algo que no me guste o que me haga falta. We use Smartsheet for a variety of forms needed within our work. The automation process is helpful as some of our tasks require approval from different levels of management. I appreciate the ability to resend the information from a form should the required approval is missed. There are different ways to export the data. No way to easily duplicate columns when creating a sequence of columns such as Requested amount, requested Category but I need 50 columns of this so people only have ot fill out one form, each column needs to be named Request 1, Request 2, Request 3...not easy way to sequence. The ease of use is probably the simplest answer. From entering data for users to tracking their progress and sending reminders, even the basic version of Smartsheet is a competent software tool in staying on track. Reseña recopilada por y alojada en G2.com.
Once things get into the shared situation with Smartsheet, you do need to mind other's access and review what they're adding to it. Not really Smartsheet's fault, but something to be aware of. I like that you can upload files and comments for the rows, and the option for surveys. At work, we use the app daily and I have even explained some simple steps to handle easy tasks and people are responding well.

Is not that I don't like it, it's more that I haven't still got the full understanding of how to use the formulas.

It has helped my team grow and stay a lot more oraganized. We have a full production sheet set up and now we know exactly whast going on with our orders and what we still have in house. We are big but small and I think this has helped keep our head on a swivel so we can keep our system organized and not run around trying to figure out something that can be solved by looking at our sheets.
