While the knowledge base is great, some issues or questions need the support of a live person. I miss the days when I had an assigned technical lead that was familiar with my implementation and could assist in real time without the delay of opening a case and waiting for it to be assigned. - Account manager are not solution or consumer oriented, instead very defensive

- Poor email customization - to which the account manager said we are confident that the design doesn't make a difference to customer engagement.
- Very low post-purchase reviews collected via email likely due to poor deliverability rates and sender reputation by BV.
- Customer support only when it is time to renew contract, at which time the Bazaarvoice gave 7 days to sign the contract and threaten to pull 100% of retailer reviews and brand website reviews if not signed.

Some of the services that Bazaarvoice offers are unique to them and they monopolize syndication of certain retailers. So in a way, you can't get around working with them. I've had my fair share of communication struggles over the years but with feedback things have improved a little bit. I really like the organization of next steps via basecamp, that helps keep things flowing and both teams accountable. Their support via basecamp is very good and employees respond quickly. We've had challenges with account managers being a little all over the place. We've cycled through quite a bit of different people, which can be very frustrating. Often times, new account managers aren't introduced until you're looking for someone to respond and emailing all known emails, only to be told oh so and so is your new account manager.
