I like how easy it is to get news about our College in an easy to read feed. Once the filters are set up, we can view most of the news that involves our faculty and students. We are able to share this information with them and they are always excited about the coverage that their research is getting. It's incredibly user intuitive, moreso than its competitors that I have had exeprience utilizing in the past. The data it puts out is reliable and readable in the various visualizations it has available. Compared to other social listening software platforms, Meltwater does not have the same amount of historical data available (1 year of social media data vs. 5, 10, 15 years) - this has caused some issues in our analyses, as it would be preferable to have more context around the trends. Additionally, there is not as much personalization to the visualizations as we have found in other platforms - the charts cannot be segmented/subsegemented to the same level of detail.
