JDA is useful for keeping track of inventory of multiple things at once. (Product, trailers, jockey moves)
- only few criteria to compare listed solutions - too expensive for a small company - some features not required by every company - some features can be handled better by "standard" office tools - "stand-alone" tool makes the use and the value added...
Integrates other departments and disciplines and the data is cross functional across different modules
I did not like how confusing and steep the learning curve was- especially coming from a different planning system.
