It also easily connects to the POS system so there will be no lags during operations. With the newest update you can work in projects, amongst different categories, and still be able to save. The graphics are spot on and you are able to customize the software to your personal likings/settings. **What do you dislike about Blue Yonder Inventory Optimization?** JDA can be gimmicky. If you aren't careful with your settings, you can really mess things up. And once you mess things up, it's hard to get back to the original starting point. **What problems is Blue Yonder Inventory Optimization solving and how is that benefiting you?** Assortment optimization. Planogram generator is definitely improved on the new system and helps with picking the correct assortments for stores. ### 5. Took a scientific approach to recommend inventory for our highly complex supply chain. **What do you dislike about Blue Yonder Inventory Optimization?** The UI was not very responsive and not very user friendly for a company with 9000+ parts to review/optimize for. Lack of sensitivity analysis capability for raw material supply lead times. No time-phased BOM/RTG options. **Recommendations to others considering Blue Yonder Inventory Optimization:** It would work better for a shorter, more horizontal supply chain (as opposed to one with 90 days of lead time and 4 intermediate product types).
