It's become a single source of truth for our prospects, where we can control how our product is sold within the business. The UI is brilliant and the Engineering team are constantly iterating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We'd love to have some more visibility on which slides / pages are getting the most traction with clients. It would also be great if it was clearer to clients how to leave comments / notes as some of our prospects have said it's not obvious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The intuitive way of building digital sales rooms specifically for any customer case based on the easy to adjust templates makes it possible to follow up in 30 min after each customer call or meeting. That combined with a great proactive customer support, listening to product feedback and a CEO who actively shares expertise for free on LinkedIn, makes Trumpet a reliable future-fit platform for any revenue leader who understand who buyers want to buy in 2025 and beyond. Less is more, also with buyer enablement. The power of DSRs lies in its simplicity. It can soon be overwhelming if a customer sees it for the first time. Keep it simple, lean and mean. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Colours/styling of the pods/widgets
- Great amount of different widgets
- Control over pods that can be adjusted
- Interface is great and looking very detailed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Chatter box is very hard to use.
- Not easy to send a message, does not have setting to choose what way I would liek to send a message (enter or command enter etc)
- Would be amazing if chatter is a separate window, it takes ages to read a text (super small)
- sometimes I would click something on the screen and text would auto-delete/disappear
- Not possible to insert a list, sending as a plain text
- Can not do bold/styling in the chat box
- I can only send messages to the clients in Live mode but not in actual trumpet
2. Not enough automatisation (might be a custom issue only related to us) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our team has been using Trumpet for a couple of months now and we have immediately noticed the impact.
It has been surprisingly easy to pull interactive demos (Arcade), Google slides, and call recordings all into one place. The Hubspot integration has been very easy to set up.
Our prospects love having a single space for all important information in the deal, instead of having to search through messy email threads for forgotten attachments.
The analytics and notifications when prospects view our rooms are super helpful for the reps. The Trumpet rooms really support our multithreading tactics, and give us a clear indication of the health of our deals.
Our CSM Maddi has been super helpful building our first templates and the chat support has been very fast whenever we need help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's some small limitations in template creation which cause us to need a separate template for each rep, making it a bit clunky to quickly change things across all our standard templates. We know a fix for this is on the roadmap, and the pace of development has been quick so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Firstly, users and customers LOVE the tool! Never implemented a tool that's so user friendly with great adoption from start - which is actually helping revenue teams to close more deals. Some highlights:
User-friendly interface and user feedback reg. ease of use and time to create/maintain.
Collaboration and engagement with prospects via comment sections, mutual action plans and multiple pages as part of personalised micro-site.
Per-recipient tracking is optimal and works well.
Salesforce integration which allows to build from opportunity view and gives non-users a chance to see what was shared directly from Salesforce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only constructive feedback. If Trumpet can scale while keeping their current customer proximitiy and speed to ship features, they will be the go-to Digital Room solution for Revenue generating teams. Keep up the great work! Some points of improvement:
Google Drive Integration (being shipped by Trumpet team as per customer feedback): The GDrive integration is limited only offering one shared drive to pick from, which does not allow users to select their own content from “My Drive”. The alternative is to publish to web and get a GSuite embedded code which presents a security risk from a content privacy perspective. This makes it hard for admins to ensure version control and time consuming for users to update versions (cumbersome manual process).
Analytics: Trumpet does not offer the same depth of analytics or content management capabilities as a full CMS. The analytics dashboard can be improved with some more in depth controls to deep-dive on granular analytics (by sales stage for example - but that’s possible in SFDC reports).
Salesforce Integration (being investigated by Trumpet team as per customer feedback): Some hiccups on Salesforce integrated report which can show duplicated values if multiple rooms (incl. drafts) were created for the same opportunity.
Content Management: As a CMS, it still has a long way to go. Governance is messy with the current media library, being too malleable, allowing users to affect findability for “official content”. Users might find limitations in its ability to provide advanced content organization, no personal private folder, etc. Same for saved pages, widgets and templates. No possibility yet to bulk trigger updates across platform.
User Management: Very manual process so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm impressed by Trumpet's ability to consolidate all the critical assets for internal discussions within a single pod. In today's complex buying landscape, decisions are often made collectively, involving multiple stakeholders who may not be directly involved in the sales process. Trumpet allows me to empower my champion with a comprehensive resource that they can share with their team. This ensures that everyone has access to the latest information, demos, and business cases, enabling them to make informed decisions and advocate for our solution. Additionally, the valuable insights provided by Trumpet help me identify key stakeholders, track their engagement, and uncover potential opportunities. This empowers me to focus my efforts, tailor future conversations, and ultimately drive deals to closure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be beneficial to optimize image and content upload times. The addition of more granular customization options for widget sizes would enhance user experience and productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Easy to use and setup
- Customizable to your own brand & customer's brand
- Trumpet's Sales & CSM team was attentive and helpful, regardless of the size of our business
- We found other competitiors 'nickle & dimed" key features with expensive pricing. Trumpet had critical ones like CRM integration included
- Trumpet far outperformed competitors in functionality and customization, while still being simple for our team to use.
-Spinning up a Pod regardless is quick, easy, and tailored to our reps so its easy for them to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing comes to mind. If you are looking at other Digital Sales/CS Room Tools, Trumpet should be at the top of your list to speak with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Ability to customise according to the customer's journey requirements.
2. Ability to have internal chat rather than having to send external emails.
3. Being able to have a whole onboarding process in 1 place and ability to hide some of the later processes to open up when the customer completes earlier stages.
4. Customer support is excellent -Maddi Rose was fantastic in our meetings where we looked at our use of the system and how we can improve/amend the onboarding set up in trumpet to meet our business needs.
5. Excellent ability to integrate with other documents which can be populated into the system and easily exported.
6. Our onboarding and implementation experience was excellent and we were able to add our requirements easily into the system.
7. Easy to use and navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike at this stage of writing. Any ideas we have to implement Maddi Rose has been helpful in assisting us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Have been using Trumpet for almost two years now. It started off amazing and as the product has been developed it has gotten even better. We are able to acquire new clients direcly via Trumpet Pods and the product has become a vital element of our sales process.
I particularly love the cohesion and document control capabilities of Trumpet. The platform is intuitive and easy to use. Trumpet offers a good mix of flexibility vs. control over what is created per pod. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Last time I wrote this I mentioned getting a few product updates completed and (not suprisingly considering the strength of the Trumpet product team) they have all been implemented since my last review! I would love to see Trumpet continue updates relating to consistency (e.g. if I update a widget on one pod - can I choose to make it update across all existing pods?), this type of thing helps me as a marketer for version control and ensuring messaging and brand is up to date. Trumpet has transformed our sales process and driven more revenue for our business.
First, we make a better first impression than our competitors, who still send proposals via email or PDF. We add in custom videos to make our clients feel heard.
Secondly, we can easily track buyer intent by seeing who engages with the proposal, if they share it with other team members, and how many times / how long they have viewed the proposals we share. You can tell very early on who is a hot prospect versus one that is cold and unlikely to close. This is impossible with email or PDF's.
Over the past 6 months they have also introduced an AI engagement score tool. Based on your prospects interaction with the proposal (opens, views, time viewed, shared etc). Although not 100% accurate (i.e anything over 65 will close), it does give you a VERY good indication of buyer intent. Also if the score is 0, no engagement, they have not looked at anything I can almost immeditateyl remove them from the pipeline as closed/lost and not waste time there.
Finally, we have a centralised place to add in or update their custom proposal based on feedback or other requests they might have. It's also a great excuse to reengage with a customer by sharing something useful that will help their buyer journey as opposed to "Hey, just checking in...want to buy yet?"
This is why trumpet is our go to sales tool, which has improved our close rate from 8% to +20%.
Enough said!
P.S - seeing customers in proposal in real time, the abiulity to go in and start a conversation/huddle is also game changer. Meet customers where they are at and help inform their decision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I cannot find anything that I dislike about trumpet. I am sure they will roll out more features soon which might improve the product but nothing major come to mind to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've enjoyed using Trumpet so far. I've created quite a few pods now, and starting to get the hang of it.
It's been excellent in terms of tracking client prospects, both in terms of when they interact with our information and how much so.
Excellent analytics and reporting, with lots of great options to create client specific microsites.
Thumbs up! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are definitely a couple of improvements to be made in terms of bulk creation of Pods for multiple client prospects.
At the moment it takes me approx 1 minute per pod, which isn't exactly slow, but would be great to add lists in bulk and create multiple pods at once.
There are a couple of work arounds, and the product is new, so no doubt will improve over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
