In addition to the responsiveness, professionalism, and speed of their customer care, my team and I are enamored by the flexibility of Stackby. We have various stakeholders that need different permissions and views. The ability to have one central database/portal - from input to multiple views, to project management and task tracking, and team communication, to private vs. public, to protected vs. editable, is exactly what we've been needing for 20+ years! We used to use one google spreadsheet per client, plus a basecamp project, plus Slack, plus our CRM notifications/tasks and calendar, AND other project management tools. Now we ONLY use Stackby for all those activities! Wow! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Let me answer this by first saying – that the customer care team is attentive, and tech support is fast, which is huge! But we know this because we've had to contact tech support. At the time of this review, Stackby is still a start-up in growth mode. Eventually, because of the management team's responsiveness and commitment, I believe we will interact less and less with tech support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software is like best its flexibility to blend spreadsheets with databases and APIs all in one platform That makes it super useful for people who want the familiarity of Excel or Google Sheets but need more powerful functionality, like relational data and automated workflows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited Automation Compared to Big Players Tools like Airtable or Notion have more integrations with Zapier, Make, or native automations the software has some automation, but it’s still catching up in that department Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As someone who has used AirTable and SmartSuite, I found Stackby to have just about everything those two services had and more--for a better price. Getting started was as easy as connecting AirTable and bringing all my tables over. Then I just had to clean a few things up and I was ready to go. When I had a support issue, I heard back with a solution within about 12 hours. Not bad! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Stackby doesn't have quite as modern of an interface as SmartSuite, but it makes up for that with an abundance of features at a lower price--especially for guests (they're free!). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We started using Stackby over a year ago to power our large monthly magazine. We had some initial features that were different and we worked with the team to understand them — they were great. They also went the extra mile and programmed some new features for everyone that made it a perfect fit for our needs. Support is stellar. When we need anything it's solved quickly. It's been one of the best purchases we've made for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, really. We had some initial hiccups that they went above and beyond to fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
