Softr is very easy to use and has a low learning curve. Platform builder is intuitive and straight forward. The training videos and lessons provided by the Team are easy to understand, engaging and on point. The Support team are also knowledgeable and approachable. It has been very interesting to learn this platform and so far have had very small challenges. It is easy to integrate with Airtable and to understand the relationship with the database. Implementation of new features is quick and easy, have built complex flows for a two-sided marketplace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In comparison with Glide and WeWeb there are certain gaps in functionality and what can be done. I think the team will continue expanding the functions you cna deploy via Softr, however the more options there are the more complex the platform will become. Looking forward how this will play out as Softr is very easy to use at the moment. yet to see how the platform performs with mass usage and frequent log-ins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can’t say enough good things about Softr.io — it has completely transformed the way I build and launch web applications. As someone with minimal coding experience, I always struggled to bring my ideas to life. With Softr, that barrier disappeared.
What makes Softr stand out is its intuitive drag-and-drop interface, seamless integration with Airtable and Google Sheets, and its powerful set of features for user authentication, dynamic content, and gated access. I built a fully functional membership portal in a single afternoon — something that would have taken me weeks with traditional tools.
The templates are stunning, mobile-responsive, and highly customizable. Whether you're building a marketplace, internal tool, community platform, or a client portal, Softr has your back.
Customer support is also top-notch. Their team is responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in user success. The product is evolving quickly too, with frequent updates and improvements that show they’re listening to user feedback.
Softr is perfect for entrepreneurs, startups, agencies, and even enterprise teams looking to quickly prototype or launch full-featured apps without breaking the bank or relying on developers.
Highly recommended — 10/10! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't find any cons while using softr Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am a back-end java developer but never developed front-end. I recently came to know about softr and tried to build a demo website. With their templates it was super easy, whenever I had question, I asked the support, they clarified in few minutes, I further saw the tutorials. Then integrated the website with my own requirement, it was so easy that I could never think. I was able to integrate with third parties, e.g. payment gateway. Automated report generation and email, automated email for any change, testing automation - these are awesome feature. And everything on cloud, no need to think about backup, everything is taken care by softr. I can highly recommend softr to every company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As of now I don't know what I shall dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was a junior software developer early in my career, but have been a UX designer / researcher for many years. I understand some things about coding but not being a pro, I struggled with other tools to create an idea that I wanted to productize. Softr, along with Make and Airtable, allowed me to independently get an app up and running. (In contrast, I failed with 2 other low / no code stacks.)
I'm currently on the free tier but reaching out to support was a great experience, with helpful and kind people.
Overall, despite any criticisms, I'm grateful that this tool exists that allows a semi technical user like me, to create working software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a UX designer, sometimes the limitations are frustrating for me. I can't fully design my vision and have to adjust my vision to what's possible.
I wish there was a way to optionally get under the hood (maybe there is but I haven't found it other than embedding 3rd party forms.)
Training material on site is sparse though there are YouTube videos, but I'd love to see more structured end-to-end training. (Make.com is the level I'd hope to see.)
I'd love to see a full conversational widget/block. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have zero coding experience and I was able to build an app in less than 7 days. Platform is so easy to use with tons of templates that you can choose from. Free version gives you so much freedom that you can try everything and make sure it is a good fit for you before you buy. I had one problem in making my app that I couldn't fix myself and Andranik from the support team was with me on a call for one hour, helping me fix it and I wasn't even on the paid plan. All recommendations to everyone who is thinking about which no-code platform to use. Softr is the all around best choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My experience with Softr have no negative associations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Softr is honestly one of the easiest no-code platforms I’ve used. The drag-and-drop editor makes everything super intuitive from the start—no need for technical skills or tutorials. You just start building, and within minutes, you’ve got something up and running. The Notion integration (which I use for my CRM) works just as smoothly. Setting up my database was quick, and in just a few steps, everything was structured and ready to go.
It has all the basics to build something solid without overcomplicating things: pre-made templates to get started faster, customizable blocks for different needs, direct integration with Notion and Airtable, and a clean, responsive design that looks good on any device.
That said, if you’re looking for advanced interactions or more customization, it might feel a bit limited.
One thing I really liked was the customer support. Even on the free plan, they responded quickly and actually helped, which isn’t always the case with no-code platforms—many just give generic or slow replies if you’re not paying.
I use Softr regularly to manage my CRM and share information with clients. If they added more interactive features, I’d probably rely on it even more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Softr has a few areas that could be improved. First, the pricing model has too big of a jump between the free and paid plans. A mid-tier option for freelancers who only need one published app without paying too much would be a great addition.
Another issue is the way blocks connect, which feels pretty limited. If you have a database with items and want to click on one to see its details in another table, there’s no native way to link them. Adding this feature would make the platform much more useful for CRMs and database-driven apps.
I also think it could really use an in-app commenting system, something like Notion, where users can leave notes and feedback directly. That would make it a much better tool for CRM, project management, and team collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its intuitive interface and flexibility allow you to build powerful web apps without writing code, making it ideal for early-stage product validation. What really stands out is how easily it integrates with multiple technologies — from Airtable and Google Sheets to more advanced APIs and databases. A great choice for startups and makers looking to move fast and test ideas with real users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I had to point out a downside, it would be some limitations in design customization — but they’ve been making huge improvements in that area lately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a number of things that I love about Softr, but the thing I find most useful is their responsiveness to feedback and feature updates based on that feedback. I have been using Softr for over two years now, and it has gotten easier and easier to use and build, both because of their live support and the improvements of functionality. I am building is Softr every single day. I especially like some of the newer features, which I had been hoping for for a long time, like container blocks (which allow for more side-by-side blocks, and tab containers. There is not too much that I dislike about Softr, mostly because they have shown that they are always working towards improving their product to best meet the needs of users and builders. Sometimes when they are beta-testing new features or updates, I see something doesn't quite flow the way I expect it to, but then I remember it is just beta and it will improve. The application is extremely easy to use and very intuitive. The features are pretty basic but for most situations that is all you need. There are many ways to expand the basic functionality by performing simple integrations with other best of breed tools. Customer support seems pretty fast for urgent issues. It is a no code builder, it is not a development platform requiring coding and too much thought process like most no code builders require. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is pretty slow at times when querying Airtable data. It makes sense that there would be some speed issues given Softr performance relies on Airtable's performance, but some other SAAS providers don't seem to have such similar visible issues. Theme editing is very simple in terms of global settings for an application, alot of changes that should be made at the global level need to be made at the object level. Form building isn't the best experience but you can use other applications better suited to these tasks and nearly seamlessly integrate them with the Softr end user experience. What I appreciate most is how seamlessly it integrates with Airtable, making data management and dynamic content updates effortless. The drag-and-drop interface is user-friendly, yet flexible enough to create professional-looking applications. Additionally, the support team is responsive and helpful, I like how they address any issues or questions quickly. In terms of frequency of use, I rely on Softr daily for managing projects and creating web apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One limitation is the customization flexibility—although the drag-and-drop builder is intuitive, advanced design and functionality tweaks can sometimes feel restrictive without custom code. More native styling options and deeper integrations would make it even more versatile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
