### 8. Essential Tool for Retail Store Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ML L.

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

I absolutely love using Zipline for managing our retail stores. It has been a great tool for us for over five years, keeping our operations organized and efficient. One of the standout features of Zipline is its communication tool, which consolidates all our communications into one place and allows us to create tasks directly from there. This feature truly streamlines our workflow and enhances our productivity. The holistic approach of having everything in one place, such as our resource library with SOPs, training documents, job aids, and our monthly playbook, ensures that our stores have everything operationally required. Additionally, being able to leverage surveys and assessments during store visits is invaluable. I highly value the excellent support provided by our account manager, Nathan Thompson, who is always quick to respond to our queries and keeps us informed about the latest product updates. His partnership is immensely beneficial, and he truly does a wonderful job. Overall, I'm very happy with Zipline and grateful for all it has to offer.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

I believe there is room for improvement with Zipline's survey functionality. The process of uploading and managing pictures is somewhat complex and could be streamlined. Specifically, accessing photos is cumbersome as they are placed into folders requiring individual access by store. It would be more efficient if all the photos could be accessed collectively in one place.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Zipline to keep our retail stores organized, centralizing communication, surveys, and assessments. It provides a holistic solution with everything in one place, including SOPs and training documents, ensuring operational needs are met efficiently.

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

The way you can customize and provision communication for transparency and impact in the fast paced retail

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

I don’t have much negative feedback. The zipline is always open to feedback to improve the platform and the user experience.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease of communication to spend more time on execution. We have seen our communication score feedback increase with our teams after implementing Zipline.

 ### 10. User-Friendly and Highly Customizable Platform

 ### 11. The Secret Ingredient Behind Our Retail Glow-Up

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LeRae W. | Corporate Communications & Events Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Hands down it is Zipline's unwavering commitment to us. From the moment we joined the Zipline community and embarked on our challenging path to launch day, their daily guidance, innovative ideas, and continuous support have fueled our success.

Additionally, its straightforward design, paired with an ever-evolving suite of enhancements, empowers our field teams and turns one-way updates into dynamic, real conversations. It's intuitive and simple to use which keeps our teams informed, engaged, and ready to excel every day.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

If there’s one thing I 'don’t like'—and I'm stretching here—it’s that the platform is so jam-packed with features, I'm still working to release the power of a few hidden gems two years in. Honestly, it’s less a complaint and more a testament to just how deep and versatile the solution really is. In the whirlwind of retail, it keeps us evolving—it challenges us to do better go forward.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zipline makes accessing our collective corporate knowledge almost effortless—empowering frontline professionals to support one another seamlessly, no matter where they are. And it’s not just convenient—it’s built with rock-solid privacy and confidentiality in mind. Smart, secure, and seriously helpful.

Meanwhile, we’re dialing up the energy on internal culture! By growing our brand from the inside out, we’re building a workplace that’s vibrant, connected, and purpose-driven—where our customers feel the impact and our associates feel truly valued and celebrated.

 ### 12. The communication tool YOUR frontline asked for

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan H. | Divisional Vice President of Retail Innovation and Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Zipline feels like a team consulted YOUR frontlines workforce to build their product. It's clear and apparent that not only did their co-founder come from frontlines retail but brought along many team members who started on the frontlines of retail to create a product that meets the needs of those associates that are running around like crazy to serve customers, stock stores and execute the many, many tasks your store support center throws at them. The tool can be customized to make it fit you brand but interacting with it feels wholly unique in a world of SaaS products that feel sterile or analytical, Zipline feels fun and approachable. Where you're used to chasing enhancements, Zipline is churning out enhancements that are useful, practical and common sense before you even knew you needed them.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

Some of their newer endeavors such as Learning, feel new. The good news is that Zipline is very transparent about this and those that adopt these features early will get the benefit of being able to help participate and shape them into what they need.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Zipline we didn't have a task management system for our frontlines and our communication tool was one way. This led to our frontlines using tools like GroupMe to communicate with each other. We know can see what teams have read messages and executed tasks. We can request photos when we need them and we have a centralized place for resources, learnings, communication, group chats and messages.

 ### 13. Recommend Zipline for Retail Communication & Task Mgmt

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle C. | Learning & Performance Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Zipline’s service level continues to be off the charts. From implementation, to our account manager, to the daily customer service team (Pink Bubble rules!), and the product experts, I’ve never experienced a partnership like this in my 35 years of employment.

The platform is very easy to use, and our retail associates genuinely love it. Zipline listens to their clients and then turn that feedback into improvements every eight weeks. The Learning Platform is making it's way to the top 10 on Gartner!

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

Nothing, really… other than the fact that the LEARNING platform still feels like it’s in its infancy, but they’re clearly working on it!

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zipline is providing real time communication and tasks required by our retail associates that sometime (esp. during holidays) need immediate attention.
They are also now providing an LMS that is connected to their comm/task mgmt system. One stop shop for our associates!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepak C. | Sr Director, Product Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

It simply works, and the field and HQ users love it! Nothing more to say.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

The groups module is something that you’d either love or will get used to it. For a mature enterprise it may be challenging to adopt.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you are looking effective and efficient store operations platform that brings in all involved parties including store associates, store leaders, field leaders, corporate leaders and users together to present a common goal and objective, Zipline is the solution you need. This platform is thoughtfully built and managed by people who come from store background, and understand the complexities of field and business and bridge them tastefully. Their team is best in the business and the culture Melissa and team has built is so fun to work with while still being impactful and innovative.

 ### 18. Zipline

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

It keeps everything organized in one place, so I always know what needs to get done.

I like that it makes communication clear and easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

I dislike that sometimes Zipline can feel a bit overwhelming when a lot of information comes in at once. It can also be slow to load or refresh, especially when I’m trying to check tasks quickly. A more streamlined layout would make it easier to navigate during busy shifts.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zipline solves the problem of scattered communication and unclear priorities. Instead of checking multiple places for updates, tasks, and training, everything is organized in one spot. It helps me stay aligned with what needs to get done each day, so I can work more efficiently and confidently.

 ### 19. Zipline - Easy - Simple - Fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justina G. | Manager Store Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

I love how simple Zipline is for the end user. It’s so intuitive, user friendly, and fun for store employees. They get the information they need, when they need it, and in an easy to consume format.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

There is not a function of Zipline I dislike. They keep the platform updated, keep innovating, and keep working to meet retailers where they are to help us succeed.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zipline is making communication simple and efficient so it’s not overwhelming for teams. They are also improving search and the ability for stores to find resources more easily. These solutions save time and ensure our store teams can spend less time searching for information and more time helping customers.

 ### 20. Zipline is the retail team’s best friend for seamless operations and communication.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lianne v. | Senior Store Communications Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

What I like most about Zipline is how intuitive it is to use. Every feature is built with a retailer’s perspective in mind for both HQ and field users. Plus their internal team is stellar, they lead with a field first mentality and it shows in all they do. Wouldn’t be successful in my role without Zipline.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

Is this a trick question? Honestly, there’s nothing to dislike about Zipline. They’re consistently delivering innovative features and evolving the platform. If anything, our challenge is to keep up with all the great enhancements they roll out.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are working with us with improving reporting within their LMS product based on our needs for tracking course completion.

 ### 21. One Stop Shop for Retail Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica S. | Vice President, Omnichannel Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

The simplicity of use for our retail store teams leads to quick adoption and commitment to the platform. Having one place to go for our teams and support partners, ensures transparency and reduces communication fatigue. Zipline’s focus on the end user experience supports team engagement and development impacting financial results.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

One area I’d like to see growth is around reporting. It is one area where we tend to get asked the most questions.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had inconsistent, poor communication using outdated, static methods to reach our store teams. There were no feedback loops, ways to validate execution or even know the the right audience read the communication.

 ### 22. Zipline unlocks magic!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny B. | Head of Strategic Communications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

As a communication leader, I love being able to support all business functions' communication, workflow, and resource needs. And I LOVE giving our community the ability to connect and collaborate regardless of their location. It helps make our giant community feel smaller!

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

I’d love for it to interface better with external platforms. Headquarters works in Microsoft for co-collaboration and I’d love Zipline to better integrate with Outlook.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Zipline, we had no reliable way to communicate with all our front-line team members. Now, everyone receives the information they need, when they need it, perfectly tailored to them!

 ### 23. Zipline Keeps Us Connected to Real-Time Changes

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Zipline helps us stay connected on changes in real time

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

Would like a dark theme option instead of a super bright theme all the time

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They seem to be solving problems all the time and making the system run more efficiently

 ### 24. Zipline Makes Communicating a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Helps to streamline communications with it's stellar organizational tools and evolving technology.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

Sometimes hard to pivot when changes need to be updated (ex: tasks)

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making the immense amount of information that needs to be delivered not seem overwhelming to teams.

 ### 25. Zipline is the real deal

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Zipline has transformed the way we operate. What I love most about Zipline is their unwavering dedication to the retail space and to their customers. They understand the unique challenges retailers face and are consistently looking for ways to improve their platform. The user experience is intuitive to the ins and outs of how retail businesses need to operate in various markets.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

If there's one downside to Zipline, it's that you become reliant on it - but even that is a testament to how effective and comprehensive the tool is. Everything we need is in on place and as we gain more adoption and usership this makes a seamless experience for our teams.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zipline has supported us in resolving miscommunication, task management and overall information fatigue with our store teams.

 ### 26. Zipline Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Director of Stores, Finance & Communications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Zipline provides visibility into our readership and task execution, but what I like most is how Zipline streamlines communication for our store associates and saves them time every day.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

I have no complaints with Zipline, but there could be some subtle improvements with notifications in the Groups feature.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easy for the right people to get the information they need when they need it. Measuring on time execution. Supporting our culture and making associates feel they are part of something bigger than just their store.

 ### 27. One stop shop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alisa I. | Change Management and Communication Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Zipline is not just a communications and task management platform. We are able to tailor Zipline features to meet the needs of our local teams. I LOVE workflow integrations.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

I think accessing some of the features is convoluted. For surveys we have to go through forms and to access previously started assessments, we have to go into historical data instead of just clicking a “continue” button.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Groups is solving the problem of interstate communication and escalations in real-time.

 ### 28. Zipline streamlines communications to retail stores in an organized, user friendly fashion.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

I like how granular zipline is. Every communication, survey, assessment, library resource, etc. can be assigned a category, a visibility level, and more. It makes it really easy to tailor communications to exactly who needs to see them. It keeps us from having to send everything to everyone and clogging up their inboxes with info they dont need.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

honestly no downsides as long as everyone buys in and uses the platform!!

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to move almost all of our retail communication to the platform and will soon be at 100%. This keeps retail employees from having to check for communications from teams in multiple places like email, teams, etc.

 ### 29. First Zipline Summer Camp

**Reviewed by:** Teresa V. | Regional Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

I am looking forward to learning innovative ways that other retailers are utilizing the Zipline platform. It has certainly assisted me with communicating with my team over different time zones and in an organized way.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

Managing my team groups are set up by administrators and it would be helpful for me to quickly set them up myself, perhaps this is some new information. I will learn during this camp.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None

I really appreciate how Zipline turns messages into trackable tasks. It’s made it so much easier to follow up with stores and hold teams accountable without relying on scattered emails.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

There’s a bit of a learning curve for new users, especially if they’re used to email-based communication.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all the communication all in one spot for our workers, not using multiple platforms.

 ### 32. Zipline allows to manage from afar!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam G. | Director of IT & Business Intelligence , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

My favorite feature of Zipline is the ability to automate tasks to ensure that our frontline employees execute.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Not only does it make our jobs easier in Retail Operations by giving us one platform to communicate and house all resources, but it makes our stores' lives easier to know to look for everything in this one place. They can stay on track with calendars, tasks, checklists, etc; receive timely communications from HQ, and even use it to communicate within their store teams as well. Everything. In. One. Place.

Sometimes having such a convenient and powerful platform can lead us to sending too many communications - once getting used to Zipline, it's important to be mindful of everyone's capacity especially in stores.

 ### 45. Streamline communication and tasks from HQ to Fields in a few easy steps!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Having all HQ teams streamline their communication and tasks from HQ to field teams couldn't be easier with business partner publishing. This elivates workload from the Communications team and allows other HQ teams to be apart of impacting the store level. Having a "gatekeeper" to make sure that all communications and tasks flow seamlessly to the field is essential. Assessments and surveys allow us to take forms that HQ was making field teams and leaders complete in an EPR system and put them into Zipline. Setting and forgetting your reoccuring communications is top notch. Need the same loss prevention message to go out every Novemeber and December? You can do that in minutes for the next 5 years!

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

Reporting can be tedious to pull, specifically Assessment reporting. You aren't able to generate all the reports that you would like to in the current environment.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zipline allows us to see which stores and store leaders are behind in the assigned tasks. This allows us to see where "people issues" are and to provide coaching to teams.

**Reviewed by:** Mike C. | Retail Communications Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

I recently started using Zipline to streamline communication with our store employees, and I've been thoroughly impressed with its performance. This platform has been a game-changer for our team, making it incredibly easy to send messages, updates, and important information/data/news/reporting to all employees at once. The user-friendly interface and robust features have made our communication more efficient and effective. Zipline has definitely made our internal communication process seamless and hassle-free. I highly recommend this software to any retailer looking to simplify and improve their employee communications- even if you only have one store! Working with the Zipline team has been a fantastic experience. They are incredibly responsive to our needs and consistently deliver high-quality support. The team's attention to detail and dedication to providing a consistent user experience is truly impressive. It's clear that they are committed to continuously improving the product, and we have been thrilled with the new features that have been rolled out. I am a raving fan.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

What's not to love? Like every product on the market, there are going to be particular quirky things that don't always comport with your organization's needs. But honestly, that's an "us" problem, and they STILL try to help us solve those puzzles.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining process. Simplifying communications. Supporting cross-functional partners in messaging stores. Keeping field activity on track. Measuring work. Having fun.

All of the above uses.

 ### 49. Help your stores succeed - use Zipline!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liv L. | Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Zipline is an incredible tool to keep teams aligned across retail organizations from HQ to Retail. The platform is simple to use and helps keep everything in one place, giving teams a singular source of truth. Alongside an exceptional product, the team working for Zipline is supportive, receptive, and so insightful - looking to help you and your teams succeed. I joined my org when Zipline was already implemented for the stores' use, and I had little to no issues in learning the ins and outs of the platform.

Our retail teams use Zipline for reviewing policies and procedures, getting important updates that may impact store operations, and helping provide structure to their day through the use of tasks and day sheets. Things are less likely to go missed as we can have store leaders hold their teams accountable. Zipline also has, and frequently adds, amazing integration features with other business platforms that help keep everything in one place. Zipline helps employees at any level and any department feel aligned with company objectives and initiatives. It offers a space to engage, empower, and celebrate teams and their success. When our teams are engaged on Zipline, we see a positive correlation with their store performance.

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

I have very little I dislike about zipline. In fact, I can't think of one thing I don't like about it.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We manage a fleet of stores across the country that have very specialized and specific regulations unique to their market. Zipline helps us keep things organized for teams, allowing us to manage access for important documents to stores by location, security level, and more. It provides a direct line from HQ to Retail, rather than waiting for the game of telephone to make it to the intended party. It also allows our stores to take planning into their own hands and helps upper level field management hold their teams accountable through task management.

 ### 50. Zipline has been a game-changer for our organization.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Zipline?**

Their unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and the user-friendly nature of their product have made a significant impact on our operations. By streamlining communications and centralizing resources, Retail Zipline has drastically reduced the time our team spends searching for information. This efficiency keeps our retail teams well-informed, aligned with our brand, and highly engaged. I wish I had this product when I was working in stores in the past. Other retailers should definitely consider adopting Retail Zipline to enhance productivity and teamwork. Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about Zipline?**

Zipline sets the bar for customer support! I have high expectations with our other vendors and am usually dissapointed when I compare them to the high touch support Zipline provides.

**What problems is Zipline solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Retail Zipline has completely solved our resource library nightmare. Their easy-to-use search function guides associates to the most current version of documents effortlessly. As a publisher, the versioning feature makes updates seamless and ensures everyone has access to the latest information. This has significantly improved our workflow and resource management.
