What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

Quick to set up; uses tags that you can define for your own requirements - I personally use Geo tags for regions as well as product model tags; emails tasks to your email box that INCLUDES the phone number that will activate your mobile from the link, very easy & practical. You can set your own "stages" for your sales work flow, additional fields can be added that you can sort on; just about everything you can think of in a good UI. What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

So far I have had no issues really. This is NOT overly complex and as I work as a mobile field salesperson it simply suits me. Support for Blackberry might be advantageous for those stuck back there however you can use the BB web browser & do most anything that the iOS apps do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Zendesk Sell:

If you want a "mobile CRM" that sends you email updates with the contact number associated to it when your activity or call is due, this one is for you. As a strong Sugar user in the past I felt that CRM needed to be simpler, more mobile with automated features that logged calls & email activity. Base does all that at a very insignificant charge! What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

1. First, this team is always there for customer service within minutes to hours of your inquiry.

2. There is no other CRM available today with as feature rich of a mobile application along with the fact that the mobile app is simple, clean, elegant, and has everything you could possibly want from a CRM. In addition to allowing you to make calls, tracked emails, and now text messages right from within the app itself.

3. They have a plan with a phone number and it's own line for business to truly separate personal and business contacts.

4. Tons of integrations including Google Contacts, and the sync with Google is accurate and you won't find a million duplicates over time.

5. The sales pipeline management system is perfect because if you want to customize it to your needs its very easy. In addition, you can integrate and share a folder with a lead, prospect, or client straight from Dropbox or Google Drive. You even have a company branded portal to share documents with prospect and clients.

6. After every call, it will prompt you to log the call with call notes. Wether you use the app to make a call, your mobile phone, or Google Voice, you can log the details of the call along with future follow up action items by creating tasks from that specific call.

I have tried hundreds of CRM's to date and these guys continuously improve their platform at a much faster rate than any of the other big named CRM's. They have a perfect Enterprise solution all the way down to the small business owner.

Lastly, the sales reporting and data you can view to measure performance is yet another reason why this is far superior for the cost than you would get with any other CRM on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

The only negative I could find is when you sync with Google Contacts, it's two way sync works great however, Google + causes an issue because any contact you add to Base, when it syncs to Google Contacts, your Google + account might find more information on this contact that it adds to certain fields. Therefore, if the name of the company is spelled slightly different (for example: you may not have added LLC to the end of the company name but that is how it's spelled on Google+ and now instead of adding that to the existing company it will create a duplicate company within Base)

I am not sure this is even something Base could fix as it's Good Old Google + that we have to thank for the issue. Nonetheless there really isn't much else that I could say I don't like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

The iPhone and iPad apps are by the far the best I've used - working remotely or on the go is much less of a concern because I have access to everything on all my devices. Email templates have saved me a ton of time sending introductory emails daily, and being able to make calls from my browser is really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In an era when reporting on metrics is almost as important as making the sale, the Base reporting tools are an indispensable resource.

What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

Great user interface with big tabs and easy to drag and drop from category. Better visualizations than Salesforce which is mostly text. Very easy to organize and beautiful reporting/visualization tools. Great mobile product, ran great on my Samsung S4 Android. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

A bit light on features...for example, we wanted to add more than 7 or 8 tabs (can't remember exact number) and it wasn't an option. It wasn't that we had to pay for more categories/tabs, it just simply wasn't a product feature. But I think that will change over the time as this is a more small business focused app anyway.
