What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

BASE is super intuitive. Out of the box (so to speak) you get 90% of its promised functionality without additional set-up. What I like even better is the intuitive screen design. You don't have to 'hunt' for the information you need. You can control the app with one finger if you need to look things up while you're sipping coffee at Starbucks ;-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

There's nothing I don't like. BASE lets you input full contact details from LinkedIn records (if you install their browser widget). That's really helping me save time with data entry and stay more up-to-date with prospects, clients, and vendors through social media. I wish BASE would scrape contact info from an email. Do the trial, bring over some data, call tech support (even if you don't need it) so they can run you through the nice-to-have features that are best set up before you load your data. Tags are very important (and powerful) in BASE. Think them through very carefully. Consistency is king with you're trying to find things! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Zendesk Sell solving and how is that benefiting you?

Tracking contacts, building mailing lists (you can set BASE up with MailChimp to automatically transfer new contacts), tracking deals, doing win/loss analysis, and knowing the next most important thing to do. BASE has put 4-5 hours a week back into my calendar (I was on SalesForce before this) because of its intuitive interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

The mobile app is absolutely fantastic, my favorite feature is that it automatically connects with my phone calls and prompts me to leave notes. The analysis and the reporting tools are awesome as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

Base is Simply awesome. After Trying CRMs like Microsoft Dynamics, PipeDrive & Bitrix our search finally ended up after using Base. We love the minimal approach, Modern UI, out of the box features, affordable VoIP rates and the powerful reporting. Integration with email is also fantastic! I Highly recommend to startups! Storage is not okay. I think should be increased. Project management and Intranet can be useful features if integrated for an extra cost.

What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

We use Base to track direct sales of our SaaS ERP platform, Skyforge.

Base is clean, simple, and well-thought out.

The UX is delightful, and all of the necessary features are there.

The basic plan is reasonably priced.

What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

I love the mobility! I love that I can have the info on my desk and instantly in the palm of my hand moments later. The price is great as it is only $15 a month or a bit less if you pay for two years up front.

This was a no brainer for me as I was paying over $40 a month with another CRM tool and their new "1" app didn't even have an integrated calendar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

One thing I don't like is that there isn't a default setting that I have found for reminders. I would love to have all new events have a set 15 minute reminder as my account is tied with google calendar and I get one day and one hour reminders from google.

I thought of one other thing I would like to see in Base.

It would be great to have a simple To Do list of general tasks that need to be completed that aren't tied to a person/business.

Hop on board. Its affordable and simple to use. Easy to add events and send email from.

Having most things in one place, that is contacts, names, emails, calendar of events, all in the palm of my hand.

I'm able to be on the go and look up a contact or store to remember info about someone or some company.

I'm able to add people on the fly, add events, and to do items.

What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

Linking your email to it is easy and makes a huge difference in the experience. I love the interface. I think the UI makes sense. And it is easy to customize. I also like that it asks you why you may have lost a deal, and it has keyword tagging. Both of those are important for the same reason. You need to be tracking where your deals are coming from so that you can put more effort into that lead generation area. So if there is a particular networking group that you are involved in you can tag all of your leads from that group with the name of the group. Then you can take a look quarterly to see where your leads are coming from. If there are a lot from that group then you keep going and putting effort into it. If you are not getting any leads from it then you may want to take a look at whether it is worth your time to continue attending. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zendesk Sell?

The one thing many CRM packages are missing (so not a shot at Base) is integration with Linked In. I would love to see deeper into my Linked In account. But I know that they have limited access to the API so many of the CRM packages are left out and can't add this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We wrote a blog post that lists out the numerous CRM packages that are available (http://bluefishds.com/blog/article/an-exhaustive-list-of-crms-and-other-thoughts-on-sales-process). But... and this is a big one. Most of them have the same features. There are a few that are actively working on integrations with Social and that would be the feature that would set a package apart from the crowd. Also, automation should also be something you take into consideration. Base doesn't do either of those with excellence but it does everything else really well. I wanted a place to store contact information and store email from contacts. I needed to have some sort of pipeline view as well that tells you what the value of the deals you are currently working on is worth. And it was a requirement to have a system that will track a deal from Prospect to Qualified to Closed (lost or won). Base does all of these things with excellence. The problem I'm solving with Base is not having to contact many team members to find out the progress on a specific project. when all team members using Base, each member needs only to log on to Base to find out where the project stands, which leads turned to clients and what projects won or lost.

There's really nothing I dislike about the product. Would love to see the iOS map integration in the "Location" section of the calendar - tap on the address and opens the Maps app so I can easily navigate to my destination. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The app provides a Dashboard and the opportunity to view your Leads, Contacts, Deals, Tasks, Calendar, email Communication and Reports. The integration with Google Calendar is extremely helpful along with email integration. It just works. For the monthly cost, it's the best option I've found. When you receive an email from any contact or lead, it automatically is placed within the section of the contact and displays the thread of communication. You can also house files outside of Base, either in Google Drive or Dropbox. It works seamlessly between a laptop, an iPad or an iPhone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm solving the small business problem of organization of my data. Base plays an integral part in helping me stay digital. My philosophy is less paper, more digital. The iPhone allows this to happen - I need apps that play a role, and Base gives me the power to add and maintain current and new contacts. Get's things out of my head and onto a calendar that's backed up and with me wherever I go. Can't do paper schedule - digital helps me work quickly and more time to do my job. What do you like best about Zendesk Sell?

It has a Windows phone App!! Given that as a business we have bought into Microsoft Office 365 and the Windows phone ecosystems, it's great to see a service provider supporting the Windows phone platform. It makes the Base guys look like they understand the market.

We use base and have it integrated with Quoteroller and Outlook and Xero (accounts) so it's increadibly easy to track things through.

I like the email integration and all the communication elements too.
