Love the functionality and setting up follow ups and contacts. It's much easier than other tools I've used before and I love that the mobile version is always free! Fluidly works with my email as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Don't love that the computer based version is so much more. I don't use a lot of CRM tools but of the few I have tried I can't say I have any complaints about Base. Honestly it does what I need it to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a great solution for our company, and have a integrations we needed. I recommend Base, because have a nice integration with ZenDesk and have a good documentation for API access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't dislike anything but I wait Base integrate more platforms and release new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system is pretty simple and does most of what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Too many issues with major bugs in the platform that they take weeks to respond to and ultimately never fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Base has a lot of customization. You can add deals, tasks, contacts, leads, etc. There is also an email integration! You can set up your pipeline however you want. You can also add documents to each deal or contact. I also like the layout. It's easy to understand and navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel like Base has a few features that are so similar they become unnecessary. (Leads vs Contacts, Tasks vs Appointment) I understand they are different but for me personally it just creates a lot of extra steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integration with Twillio makes Base a very handy tool for predominately telesales operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The inability to perform bulk actions in the Smart Lists view is something that users would benefit from being addressed - many of our emails don't pull through from our business Gmail accounts also and it's not clear why. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CRM for the rest of us. Simple interface (desktop and mobile) that allows my sales team work throughout the sales pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Email marketing functions could be much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the nice looking and clean UX--it's very approachable and easy to navigate. The iOS app is no different. Other CRMs look confusing and convoluted, you're not really sure what the point of the exercise is, and in my opinion that really inhibits adoption. I like that there was no setup required. We paid for service and started using Base. The learning curve was nearly non existent. Email tracking is a plus, and the executive reporting is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my opinion there isn't a lot of automation. There's no solid way to implement a followup regiment across your team, so I worry wether people are adhering to the protocol we've mandated, which means that I spend a good bit of time manually sifting through salespeople's data to make sure we're all following instructions. Other CRMs allow you to create workflows and prompts to take action are triggered by that plan i.e. day 1 make a call, if no answer send email, if email is opened do this, if the email is not opened then do this instead, and day 2 followup is based on the outcome of day 1 etc. and you end up with this really robust process that eliminates subjectivity and basically tells the salespeople what to do everyday.
