I like that a platform like Yelp exists. It can be inconvenient to call different restaurants because often, the staff is too busy for phone calls. With Yelp, I can search through menus and availabilities quickly and independently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Yelp Reservations can be outdated. The menus are not always updated, so as a customer, I am often surprised to see vastly different menus. Secondly, the wait times for a reservation are not consistent with actual wait times. Wrong wait times are frustrating, mainly when workers have limited lunch hours. I see bigger and smaller parties seated before my guests and me, even though they checked in after me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to use and train staff on. The biggest time constraint is creating your layout; once you're past that then it's smooth sailing. We didn't use the guest side of the app where they can put themselves on the list prior to their arrival. Once guests arrived at the brewery, we would add them onto the list, they'd receive a text message that they were added, and another when their table was ready. If reception was spotty, folks wouldn't receive the text messages. To help alleviate this, we would add notes in with the phone number with their name, description, etc. That way would do a quick lap around the waiting area in case they didn't receive the text. Also, a fellow taproom had issues with two hostess stands. Customer Support wasn't the greatest in trying to customize responses. For example, if a guests wanted to sit on the dog friendly patio, they wanted to send a text letting guests know to head to the patio hostess stand and then other to say the front. We eventually got it figured out, but it would have gone more smoothly if Customer Support had been more responsible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Reservation Yelp is an amazing project that enables your clients to put in a request without calling or go to your site. It keeps all reservations sorted out just as contact information's. It's anything but difficult to utilize. Exchanging around reservation times requires no exertion by any means. Following calendars is basic and to the point. Personally, what I liked best about my yelp reservation experience is the fact that I was able to reserve the night before the event. There are times where I am leaving church with my family and we want to look for a restaurant nearby to have lunch in - but many times restaurants seem to have long waits and packed venues. Yelp has helped my family and I find restaurant to dine in quickly and easily. Also, I always plan my birthday celebrations last minute, yelp has helped me book a restaurant for my celebrations in less than 24 hours prior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly speaking, I’ve never really had any bad experiences with yelp. The customer service is amazing and effective. The reviews are always on point as well.
