I love how easy it is for Xmind to add sectional and/or related segments of ideas. For example, I can add main topics and then for each main topic, I can add subtopics. I also really like that I can add emojis to accent/highlight specific topics to follow back on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found anything about Xmind that I really dislike. Feature-wise, having the ability to integrate with commonplace tools like Jira Cloud easily might be neat to have. Or an integration that would allow embedding an Xmind map to a Confluence page would also be very useful as I often want to output an Xmind document that's both shareable and editable to fellow colleagues. What I like best about XMind is that it allows me to create these awesome sequence mind maps that help me in my day-to-day activities. It is also good for students who are doing cycles as this helps a lot. The application is super cool and it's you can use the templates that they offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about this application is that it is somewhat difficult to use the first time, however, I found the application to be pretty easy once I got used to it. It can look plain so one will have to know the application to make stuff look good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

XMind is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. Personally, I've used XMind for years on Windows and iOS/iPadOS and now on macOS. At work, I use XMind via the web. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This application is very convenient to create functional safety-related flow diagrams to link different inputs and conditions that play a role towards a goal. In addition, the outliner linked to the mind map helps understand the flow of the map. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Most features in this application are pretty helpful, and there is nothing really to dislike. It might be beneficial if this has a user guide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

User-friendly interface and UX, in general, make excellent sense, both desktop and browser versions. XMind comes as "just register and ready to use", if only you know how to create mind maps, of course. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
XMind concentrates on the only function (mind mapping), so it being defeated if compared to Miro. I continue to watch over new updates, but atm there's no reason for me to use it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to quickly drop tasks, ideas, topics on a page and manipulate them as needed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The subscription can be costly (at times), but that is the "price of doing business" as they say. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think first advantage of this tool is to give the opportunity to easily make mind mapping to the users who already don't know how to make mind mapping. And the other important part is that you can export your file different versions especially JPG, PDF format which ı always used. Also, there are different styles that you can choose and edit. In addition, you can change existing project styles. Finally, there is a phone application so you can use a cell phone when cannot reach the computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a problem with speed when the needs a lot of multistep, big projects Mind Mappings. The free version is extremely useless when compared with the premium ones. And ı think the premium versions must be cheaper and the application must give to the user certain time premium usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can use it as a standalone app (without installing) and it retains all of its features
You can use an older version if you want and don't need all the newest features
You can export the files either as map files or images
You can export the files as lists that you can use in other apps
The integration with Evernote is excellent, but I use Google Keep so I need to export it as text and then put that information there
They have simplified the process of moving around the map with the keyboard, which helps with making it easier to modify the map Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They started requesting that you create an account with them for the newest versions, which I did but there is really no need
The desktop version is great but the mobile version needs a bit of polish to make it as good as the desktop version
The mobile app consumes a lot of memory, and the newest version of the desktop app does also Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
