What I liked to most was being able to manage communication and notifications in case of alerts or problems and its amazing because it allows you to monitor and difine team settings and send notifiactions to different groups of people in less time. I also loved the ability to remove notifications with company design and call scheduling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everything is very well done and in fact I loved most of its functions because it offers what we need to solve problems in the management of communications and issuance of tickets. I like xMatters because it is very easy to use and offers great flexibility and customization. On top of that, it is good for managing incidents, it is useful for triggering alarms and it is easy to look up contact details. On the other hand, I like that the user interface is intuitive and that the onboarding was easy and the customer service is always available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about xMatters?

xMatters provides rapid responses to digital disruptions and a valuable tool in fixing problems with digital systems. It helps in creating detailed reports and it is useful with audits and tracking. It helps in handling user's issues and stay compliant with industry rules. But when it comes to advanced reporting, it takes time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about xMatters?

Sometime I feel that setting up xMatters becomes complicated, especially when teams do not have a lot of technical experience. if we see, the reporting feature is greatly customized but the layout could be simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about xMatters?

xMatters is my favorite tool for handling incidents like after-hours outages. It's so seamless that our SREs can spring into action from any device they might choose to be on - from laptops to mobiles. When we had a cluster and load-balancer issue during the night when, because of xMatters real-time alerts, our team was able to respond to it from their devices in an orchestrated way, containing the incident in 30 minutes, and we could go back to sleep. The monitoring and automated alerts are 24/7, so we never get taken unaware. It's like having an additional view of our infrastructure, which has been pretty stable. What do you dislike about xMatters?

Integrating xMatters with our existing stack was a laborious task as it demanded ongoing support from our platform team, who had to set everything correctly. Even now, we need some minor adjustments now and then to have it running right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about xMatters?

I like that you can customize how you get alerted and the time increments if you want to set repeat notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about xMatters?

There should be a yes option instead of a number to reply to texts to escalate an incident, it can escalate an incident on accident if you make a typo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about xMatters?

Becoming quite attached to xMatters as our notification platform is something important. In addition to sending multiple emails, we are no longer using spreadsheets in our on-call rotations. Just a few weeks ago, a major database outage occurred at 3 AM, and our xMatters totally alerted and called our database team via both Slack and phone calls in a matter of seconds. The integration capability which this platform has is the most beneficial factor for us. As soon as I decided to use simple code snippets to filter alerts, I was able to stop such unnecessary alerts from our monitoring system which previously called on our engineers. The mobile app is great during my commute, allowing me to manage schedule changes on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about xMatters?

As for the point that I consider a pain in my neck, it is the limitation of custom rotation patterns. Using a rather complicated method with subgroups to do a two-day rotation schedule was what we had to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
