What do you like best about Wrapbook?

I started using Wrapbook in 2022 when the cost per transaction was just $0.49. At the time, it felt like an incredible platform that truly streamlined payroll and made a huge difference in how I managed my business. Unfortunately, fast forward to January 2025, and I’ve experienced over a 3000% price increase. What once felt like a fair and transparent solution now feels like a bait and switch.

In 2024, the price jumped from $0.99 to $8 per transaction—a steep increase, but still manageable. However, in 2025, that cost skyrocketed again, this time to $18 per transaction. These massive hikes have come with little to no notice, leaving businesses like mine scrambling to adjust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrapbook?

What’s even more frustrating is that these increases seem to be pricing out small businesses entirely. As a small production company, I’ve relied on Wrapbook to simplify payroll and keep operations running smoothly. I’ve even had calls with management to express my concerns, but it’s clear that no one cares or is willing to support small production companies. The lack of consideration for businesses like mine is disappointing and, frankly, disheartening.

While I’ve truly loved the platform and how much it’s changed my business for the better, these pricing decisions have left me deeply disappointed. Wrapbook has been a game-changer, but at this point, it feels like they’re prioritizing profits over supporting the businesses that helped them grow in the first place.

If you’re considering Wrapbook, I urge you to proceed with caution. Be prepared for sudden and drastic price increases that can make it impossible to sustain as a small business. While the platform itself is fantastic, it’s clear that Wrapbook is no longer catering to smaller companies.

I’d recommend exploring other payroll solutions that better understand and respect the budgets of small businesses. Wrapbook might still work for larger companies, but for those of us trying to grow without breaking the bank, it’s time to look elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrapbook solving and how is that benefiting you?

I loved it—it really helped take my business to the next level.

But now? I don’t even recognize the company I signed up for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrapbook?

Since Wrapbook started, I've been collaborating with them closely. I've never encountered a team as committed as theirs. Their relentless focus on incorporating client feedback into their software development process has resulted in a continuous stream of enhancements tailored to the specific needs of their clientele, myself included.

Every concern I've raised has been promptly addressed, and any unfamiliar tools have been patiently demonstrated to me through personalized video calls. What's more, Wrapbook often anticipates my needs, enhancing features I hadn't even realized I required until they were offered.

Wrapbook is an integral part of every project in our company. The time saved by our project management teams, averaging 2-3 days per project, is remarkable. We also love Wrapbook's reporting features have been tailored to accommodate multiple budgeting and archival systems, ensuring that our data is presented precisely as needed.

What truly sets Wrapbook apart is its user-friendly interface, ease of learning, and commitment to resolving any issues promptly. I'm confident that if ever an obstacle arises, the Wrapbook team will collaborate with me to find a solution within my project's timeline, allowing me to seamlessly continue utilizing their services regardless of shifting project demands. What do you dislike about Wrapbook?

There truly are not any downsides. We are hopeful that they continue to work on getting talent and agents incorporated because then we would use them for everything !!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrapbook?

I've worked with Wrapbook since their launch in 2019 and I've never collaborated with a more dedicated team. They prioirtize client feedback at such a high level that they're constantly rolling out new improvements to the software to accomodate the highly specific needs of their clients (me included).

For the past five years, every issue I've ever raised has been improved upon, any tools I don't know how to use are demostrated to me in quick person to person video calls, and I benefit from the feedback of others because Wrapbook improves upon things I didn't even know I needed until they offered it.

Our company now uses Wrapbook for every project. Our employees are absolutely enthused to be done with physical onboarding paperwork and have a dedicated online profile they can reuse across multiple companies. It's saved our project management teams an average of 2-3 days of work per project, and Wrapbook has formatted their reporting features to accomodate multiple budgeting and archival systems to make sure the data appears exactly how we need it to.

Wrapbook makes it easy to use, easy to learn, and easy to stick with because I know if there's ever an issue, they'll work with me to find a solution within the timeline of my project so I can continue to use their services no matter how project demands change. What do you dislike about Wrapbook?

Because they are growing so quickly and expanding so many services, sometimes a question is asked and it takes them some time to figure it out. Especially in our industry, there are so many different procedures regarding Workers' Comp, industry standards, Union rules, etc that are unique and may appear in a new way with a new challenge on any given project. Because they are a newer company and not as massive as some of the other options, they may not have encountered some of the road blocks before and need time on their end to do research and figure it out. But, while doing so, they have always come through, given me the correct information, and I never have a delay when asking a similar question again. They learn quick and know how to archive that knowledge for future use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrapbook solving and how is that benefiting you?

A pay to quickly and easily process payroll for employees that are often only hired for a day or two at a time. With the quickly revolving crews, we needed a payroll solution that was just as quick and simple for people to learn and navigate, both as employees and project managers. What do you like best about Wrapbook?

Wrapbook is the only company I have ever worked with that asks for my opinion about things they could improve and then actually writes code to implement the changes I am asking for. I love my meeting with my account manager, and feel like I am armed with all of the knowledge I need in order to file compliant payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrapbook?

They don't merge with Blinkbid, which is a bummer for me, but they do merge with Hot Budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrapbook solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrapbook keeps everything compliant, corrals everyone's information and saves I9s, sends out tax paperwork to users, makes running payroll and editing payroll quick and efficient. So many things! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrapbook?

Wrapbook is the easiest and most streamlined payroll service that the film industry has yet. Everything is done online, which means no more printing time cards. The labor laws are in there so you know when a time card has been done incorreectly and can immediately fix it. You can also process payroll without the whole batch being finished so that people who filled out their paperwork in a timely fashion can get paid without waiting on others. It is so streamlined and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrapbook?

The platform has continued to expand and address needs as the industry evolves. Ther are no downsides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrapbook solving and how is that benefiting you?

The other platforms that exsist for processing crew payroll are timely, have a large amount of paper, and require multiple rounds of reviews. This is a straight forward solution for crew payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrapbook?

Wrapbook's digital platform is easy to use, very effective, and covers a wide variety of production payroll needs. The Wrapbook team are also very quick to come to aid, as well as make adaptations to the program as requested. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrapbook?

The only downside to Wrapbook that it is not reliable as a non-digital payroll platform. If an employee has ever used the digital payroll platform, the employer is unable to process a paper tiemcard for that individual. The lack of predictability on this side is unfortunate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrapbook solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to process payroll online has solved many production paper headaches. There are so many required documents for payroll, and being able to keep them all in one place online is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrapbook?

Wrapbook has been great in streamlining the onboarding process for our crew. It's great to have access to previous invoices, payrolls, jobs, and reports in one place. Their support team has been excellent in answering questions and finding solutions to delightful problems.

At first it was a little difficult to adjust to a new system and way of doing things, but over all it's super easy once you get the hang of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrapbook?

Currently there is a lack of customization, however these are topics I've brought up with our service rep and are being considered for implimentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrapbook solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main issue is getting crew onboarded in a timely fashion, paid in a timely fashion, and having crew able to check their portals for when their time cards have been processed and paid. They are able to track their time more seamlessly.

It's cut down on payroll review internally, and the process is much more smooth with less back and forth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrapbook?

We adopted Wrapbook after surveying the entire production payroll field, and felt like they were the best choice for 21st-century payroll. The user interface and intuitive design is a huge advantage over rival companies, and the constant interation and growth of the platform's capabilities continue to impress. I'm certain we're not yet leveraging Wrapbook's full potential, but it's nice to have a payroll company willing to collaborate and grow alongside our production company. Customer support is top-notch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone who's managing their own production payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrapbook?

The product itself is fantastic. We've been collaborating with Wrapbook to solve a workers' compensation insurance issue and believe that a solution is near. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrapbook solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrapbook makes our bi-weekly payroll easy. I no longer have to email out sheafs of documents to onboard freelancers, and Wrapbook is incredibly collaborative when it comes to updating its software and withholding to keep up with statutory requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
