I’ve been a loyal Workiz user and advocate for years, recommending it to numerous home service business owners and even hosting online sessions to show how great the platform is. But my recent experience has completely shattered my trust in the company.
In September, I contacted Workiz to reduce the number of accounts from 10 to 5, as I only use 4. The representative assured me the change would be made, but nothing happened. I was still charged for 10 accounts for the next two months.
When I reached out again, another representative promised to fix the issue. Yet, three days ago, I was charged $800 AGAIN for 10 accounts!
This isn’t just frustrating—it’s unacceptable. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, Workiz has failed to follow through. At this point, I feel that speaking directly to them is pointless.
As a member of several home service business owner communities, I’ve always encouraged others to switch to Workiz. But after this experience, I’ll be advising everyone to stay away and consider alternatives like Housecall Pro.

Customizable, integrated estimates & invoices. Ease of employee management and scheduling. Inventory & equipment management. Custom field creation makes it just right for our needs. Myriad of integrations available, several of which are using effectively. Customer support is quick to respond. Vast help center with easy to search, upvote, and submit feedback/suggestions. We use Workiz all day, every day! Overall, it's far less complicated and more intuitive to implement than other CRM & software programs we've used. Like any software, it has it's unique quirks that take getting used to; like the default estimate and invoice are customizable, but can't be changed to full custom versions. Though you can build from scratch your own versions in the software and use them as attachments that can be sent as easily as the default ones. Quirky, see? Another quirk I haven't gotten around yet is the FIRST LAST name of a client default as the identifier of a client vs the Company Name. It's not a deal-breaker, just a quirk I'm still looking for a work around until a selector is enabled to allow me to choose which identifier I want to use for the client. Workiz has the best presentation for quoting that I have experienced. Keeping the pictures on that band that follows down the whole quote is perfect. The pictures included make training 10x easier and also ID GUESS also makes it easier for the customer to understand and IMHO derive value from the pic and the description.

Eh, having the cost column showing on my screen is very award. I do in home sales. sooo sometimes people might be right up on me and ITS SUPER AKWARD for them to see my margin and markup. sooo yea being able to have a hidden mode would be super beneficial Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can tag each phone call with a tag to show the source of the call. You can monitor your team, their hours, permissions, you can buy phone numbers for the business and so much more. It's even better than Salesforce in my opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customer support is terrible. I couldn't manually cancel the subscription. I had to call in. Even then, it still hasn't been completed.
