**What do you like best about Workiz?**

Workiz is a great CRM for field service industries that want to avoid a system that unnecessarily over-complicates things. I've tried a bunch of CRMs and have a background in information systems. Being an owner of a service business, Workiz is the best I've found. The phone integration is amazing and automatic text messages to both clients and team members that can be customized is a great feature. I love the simple user interface that allows me to turn features on and off. At the end of the day I need a CRM that makes my junk removal business more effecient without being cumbersome. Workiz does a great job of putting the data in front of me that I need to see when I need to see it. Also, amazing customer service and seems to be many new features on the horizon.

**What do you dislike about Workiz?**

There are a couple of nit-picky bugs that are a bit annoying. Understandable for a company relatively young and I would expect these things to be worked out. Things like text messages not auto-correcting text, limited functionality and customizability of mobile app, and other minor website bugs are a slight nuisance but no system is without shortcomings. Honestly, it's exceeded what I would expect, so these do not bother me.

I've gotten a lot of benefits from the reporting features. It's allowed me to learn a lot about the workings of my business without much work on my part. It's limited my phone calls and given me a centralized command center that I can run the business from.

**What do you like best about Workiz?**

I love the usability of Workiz. It's very easy to use, and all my employees pick it up very quickly when they get trained. It's great for communication and helps everyone on the team work together effectively. I like that since we started using it, Workiz has been improving and they keep adding wonderful new features. I'm currently very happy with what we're using. Additionally, setting up Workiz to use all of it's features takes a team that is dedicated to using it, but it's overall it's not complicated. It's very easy to learn and get used to once you're in it. Onboarding to any new system can seem scary, but workiz was very helpful throughout the process and I'm very glad we did.

**What do you dislike about Workiz?**

I've been impressed with the continual improvement. I love that workiz implements customer feedback. I have nothing to dislike.

**What do you like best about Workiz?**

Workiz integrates almost everything I need to run my business in one place. It functions as a CRM with built-in phone and text systems, so there’s no need to jump between platforms.

The automations are the standout feature. Automatic text messages based on job status save a significant amount of time.

The UI is mostly intuitive and easy to navigate.

Online scheduling works well and integrates with Google, which is a big plus.

The route planning map is solid and helps schedule jobs efficiently.

Customer service has been good. They’re responsive when I report bugs and generally quick to resolve issues.

Outages happen occasionally, but they’re infrequent and usually short.

The platform is consistently updated with new features, which is a good sign.

Overall, it handles nearly all of my business needs, which is why I still rate it five stars.

**What do you dislike about Workiz?**

Some areas of the UI require too many clicks to accomplish simple tasks.

Text message handling can be frustrating when using multiple numbers under the same account.

The schedule page has an annoying refresh delay when moving jobs around.

Pricing is my biggest concern. It’s expensive, and many new features come with additional costs.

I don’t like that phone plans charge by the minute and per text message.

The AI assistant was decent, but not compelling enough to justify the added cost.

The mobile app works well overall, but the Android version noticeably lags behind the iPhone app.

**What problems is Workiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workiz solves the problem of having too many disconnected systems to run a service business. Instead of juggling a separate CRM, phone system, texting platform, scheduling tool, and routing software, it consolidates all of that into one platform.

That benefits me by simplifying day-to-day operations and reducing friction. Customer communication is easier because calls and texts are built in. Automations handle routine messages based on job status, which saves time and removes manual follow-ups. Online scheduling and route planning help me schedule jobs more efficiently without extra tools.

Overall, it reduces operational overhead, cuts down on busywork, and lets me manage most of my business from a single system instead of stitching together multiple platforms.

The clean layout/ease of use, the ability to mark up individual lines on invoices and estimates, the color customizing, document customization.

**What do you dislike about Workiz?**

The cost per user; it restricts our ability to have a smooth workflow at an affordable cost. We have 5 technicians that simply can't connect with the office because it's nearly $100 each tech. We have techs sharing ipads.

Communication between technicians and the office in terms of invoicing, estimates, updating customers, record maintenance, scheduling. 
I honestly don't know what I would do without Workiz.

I like the smooth operation of Workiz, and the fact that everything is in one place. It just works seamlessly, and we can use automations to help remind our clients when we're coming, which is a big time saver. The integrated billing feature is great too, and everything just works together nicely. Workiz is pretty intuitive, making it easy for our team to pick up and start using. I appreciate their continuous system improvements and the impressive help and support they provide, along with great communication and responsiveness. Also, the integration with QuickBooks online is seamless.

There is literally nothing that I dislike about Workiz at this time.

Workiz resolves communication issues between staff and customers, ensures smooth operations with everything in one place, and integrates billing and automations to remind clients efficiently. Their support and continuous improvements are impressive.

It was a good run but started to have issues with operational flows from appointment setting to making any changes or finalizing jobs. The mobile app was not very clear for techs in the field. I had high hopes but didn't work out.

The mobile app for techs needs to improve flow and work. 

**What problems is Workiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling is easier. It also helps us keep track of Estimates and when people VIEW it! that feature was not expected BUT great at immediately following up on the customers estimate. I like the instant payout feature and the ability to add marketing phone numbers to the mix and the ability to add prefixes to the web tracking lead forms.

I find Workiz really easy to use. Even on my cell phone, it's very user-friendly. I appreciate that it's easy to contact people and save contacts. Also, setting it up was straightforward; I just needed to log in using my email.

**What do you dislike about Workiz?**

It could be improved if I can put more numbers so that it will automatically dial all the numbers that I need to dial within this day. It's really hard for me to manually dial all the numbers.

I use Workiz as a CRM and a softphone. It simplifies contact management and dialing, but I wish it could dial multiple numbers automatically to ease contacting many clients daily. It’s easy to use, even on a cell phone.

**What do you like best about Workiz?**

We really liked the ease of use of the system, as it offers a very intuitive interface. Additionally, we value that all functions are integrated into a single platform: scheduling, billing, and communication with clients. We also appreciate that the implementation did not take us much time.

**What do you dislike about Workiz?**

The functionality of the reports and statements is somewhat limited, and customer support may take time to respond. Additionally, the mobile application for field use often experiences disconnections on several occasions. Also, the learning curve for automation can be quite complex.

Coordination with our field technicians regarding job assignments has improved, and furthermore, Workiz integrates functions such as invoicing, sending estimates, payments both online and in the field, and most importantly, it allows for centralizing customer data, their history, and communication with them.

**What do you like best about Workiz?**

i have been using workiz for about 4 years or so, for multiple businesses of which i am the marketing lead provider for. This software has undergone some amazing changes and has grown and improved. The latest AI changes is what caused me to leave this review - it is my way to be grateful and acknowledge the hard work.  Workiz development team has put into this FSM.

The latest improvements mean our reps can talk to a client and have his info automatically be saved in the system, he job information automatically be inserted and ready for approval which saves us A LOT OF TIME.

so thank you very much, i highly recommend Workiz to my friends and now to the readers of this review

i got two major dislikes. one, the person responsible for our customer support at Workiz left a few month back and i feel we had an understanding. second, i think the pricing is too high and can be lower by 25%.

I find the one-year contract with Workiz extremely restrictive, as it locks me in without the possibility of exit. This has resulted in significant financial losses, as I was required to pay $400 each month, totaling over $4,000, despite no longer being able to utilize the service. I feel that this contract system is akin to a scam. Moreover, the customer service is unsatisfactory; my attempts to contact them go largely unanswered, and when they do respond, it's often with an inability to help cancel the service or stop the charges. This lack of responsive support has left me frustrated and feeling trapped with no way out, making me strongly advise others against using this service.

Workiz has been a game-changer for managing our daily operations. The scheduling and dispatching features are intuitive and easy to use. But overall, these are minor issues compared to the value we get from the platform.

Before Workiz, we used spreadsheets and phone calls to manage jobs. It was chaotic. Now, everything from job scheduling to invoicing is handled in one place. **What do you like best about Workiz?**

There are many things: The best Part is the message center that all my numbers are routed to and which I can communicate to customers via text and calling  from different areas of the program. I also am loving the automations external for estimate reminders to customers but also the triggers I use to communicate to my staff when the status changes and its time for them to take over. I have customized each stage my lead is in which makes it easy to know where people are. The tags are helpful to find exactly what I need and fast. 

The app is really good. The techs use it to give a customer their eta, close out their jobs, review the job and pictures the day before their scheduled visit.

The software integrates with QB online. The reports are amazing. Its really made running my business so much easier. I highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Workiz?**

When using the app the icons at the bottom are not static. Sometimes I have to go into leads then go back to get the icons to pop up in order to go to messages or clients etc. Thats a bug Im sure. But that is something that is slightly frustrating.

**What problems is Workiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before I wasn't able to have all customers in one spot. And feeling like my team was operating with data that was disconnected from the rest of the team. Now we are all on the same page. It feels like I can really manage the company and WORKIZ is the main hub that lets me execute that.

**What do you like best about Workiz?**

I like the amount of features they offer — specifically the fact that they have their own VoIP system internal to the tool. This is what differentiates their product from the rest.

**What do you dislike about Workiz?**

Workiz migration team was horrendous to communicate and work with. It's a shame that such a powerful platform has such a disengaged migration team. It truly feels like you're in service of them, not the other way around. 

They promised us to have our data imports from Jobber into Workiz done in 24-36 hours. I got a cold hand response from the import team stating "this isn't a realtime service, your request will be put into a queue with the rest of the requests." despite the onboarding team promising us a 24-36 hrs SLA for import. 

So many promises were made. So many were broken. We were sold a different platform than what exists. 

There are massive gaps in what you're able to do — for example, if you create a custom field on a job. You can input information in the field, but you CAN'T clear it. From then on, forever, something needs to live in that data field. There is no way to remove a value from a field. This is basic basic basic functionality. 

Every request you do have to improve the system, you get the same response from every rep at the company — put into our backlog and up vote it.

We're trying to migrate from Jobber to Wokriz.

When I was stuck, not only was the chat feature helpful, but it got me to somebody who could figure out my issue quickly and solve it right away. I made a suggestion on how they could change their system to better fix the issue I was having, and they escalated all the way up to the developers. I have no doubt they'll consider and possibly implement a fix!

**What do you dislike about Workiz?**

It's been a bit of a learning curve, and figuring out the best way to use it has been a bit clunky, but the people are nice and are there to help!

**What problems is Workiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a new Cleaning company, it's keeping things in one location that works for field and office use. I can see scaling with this, no problem.

Workiz has made it much easier to stay on top of job scheduling and team coordination. The ability to assign jobs in real-time and track technician progress has improved our response times. We also really like the client communication tools—text reminders and updates have helped reduce missed appointments. The integration with WorkizPay has sped up payments significantly.

**What do you dislike about Workiz?**

There’s a bit of a learning curve for new users, especially when setting up automations and templates. Also, the reporting features could be more customizable—we’d love to filter reports in more detailed ways. Occasionally, syncing across devices isn’t instant.

**What problems is Workiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workiz has helped us replace a mix of spreadsheets, manual dispatching, and separate messaging apps. It’s given us one centralized system where we can book jobs, communicate with clients, collect payments, and track performance. That’s been a huge time-saver and has cut down on errors.

It is easily customizable to your business. There are so many features to help streamline daily tasks and run an operation, keeping everything organized. They also many workshops to help better your business which I enjoy listening to. It was pretty easy to get set up, but takes time to get it the way that works best for your business and you always learn as you go.

Sometimes there are glitches, but they are few and far in between. When they happen, they get resolved pretty quickly.

They are constantly evolving and listening to customer feedback. When I need to talk to support, they respond pretty quickly. The best thing for me is that I am one person running a medium sized operation and Workiz helps keep me organized and streamlined. Without it, I would lose my head, but seriously they are just getting better. I would not leave to another company.

I love the user friendliness of Workiz. There is not a super steep learning curve in terms of using it and its features. Speaking of features, the automations are awesome and really help deliver a great customer experience for our clients. Implementation has been very easy. Customer support is fairly good. We use the software every day! and it very easily integrated with QuickBooks online for us. We have not tried the other software integrations just yet.

The downside for me is the ability to track technician KPI's. These are SUPER important and it just isn't readily available information on Workiz. Once that is sorted out, i believe Workiz has the potential to contend with some of the "Titan's" of the Home Services CRM world.

Honestly, it just works. I can quote a job, schedule it, send invoices, and collect payment without jumping between different apps. My last system was a mess - I'd spend half my day just trying to figure out where I put customer info. With Workiz, I actually had one person help me set everything up instead of getting passed around to different people every time I called. That made a huge difference. Plus I only pay for what I actually use, which helps keep costs down.

The features i am often are upcoming and are not to be live until next month. I need easier notes on new job orders and smarter delete tag system.you can't really customize the jobs lobby columns much.

Before this, I was using like five different apps just to manage customers and get paid. Now it's all in one place. I can actually focus on the work instead of paperwork. My customers get responses faster, and I'm not scrambling to find their information when they call. Customizable, integrated estimates & invoices. Ease of employee management and scheduling. Inventory & equipment management. Custom field creation makes it just right for our needs. Myriad of integrations available, several of which are using effectively. Customer support is quick to respond. Vast help center with easy to search, upvote, and submit feedback/suggestions. We use Workiz all day, every day! Overall, it's far less complicated and more intuitive to implement than other CRM & software programs we've used. We are able to utilize Workiz far more than any other platform we've tried in the history of our company!

**What do you dislike about Workiz?**

Like any software, it has it's unique quirks that take getting used to; like the default estimate and invoice are customizable, but can't be changed to full custom versions. Though you can build from scratch your own versions in the software and use them as attachments that can be sent as easily as the default ones. Quirky, see? Another quirk I haven't gotten around yet is the FIRST LAST name of a client default as the identifier of a client vs the Company Name. It's not a deal-breaker, just a quirk I'm still looking for a work around until a selector is enabled to allow me to choose which identifier I want to use for the client.

Workiz is continuously taking in feedback and making updates and upgrades based on customer feedback. Workiz customer support have helped me find and use features like, custom field generation, custom document generation, and our Quickbooks integration.

Absolutely nothing. Overpriced, poorly designed, and full of hidden fees. Worst CRM experience ever.

Deceptive pricing, poor automation, lack of customer support, hidden fees at every step, and an overpriced, useless AI assistant.

**What problems is Workiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workiz is the worst CRM I have ever used. They don’t honor their agreements – they promise one thing, but in reality, it’s all a scam. They offered a 30-day trial with a money-back guarantee, but when I tried to contact an agent to cancel, no one responded. The time passed, and now canceling is a nightmare. You can’t do it through your account—you have to call or email, but that doesn’t work either. Support says that cancellations are handled by a special department that is “very busy” (probably because they have too many cancellations to process, which is the only believable thing about this company).

🔴 Unreasonably expensive system – CRM + phone service costs around $400 per month. The phone service alone costs $100 but only includes 1,500 SMS messages. I used up the entire limit in two weeks—during the slowest season! After that, each SMS costs $0.01. In peak months, I need 4,000-6,000 more SMS messages, which means an extra $40-60 per month.

🔴 Issues with online booking – Customers immediately see a service fee in the booking system, even if they later choose a payment method that doesn’t require one. The only way to remove this fee is to completely disable card payment fees, which means you have to cover all transaction costs yourself. Because of this, my online booking conversion rate dropped significantly, costing me thousands of dollars in lost revenue.

🔴 Appointment rescheduling is a disaster – If a client requests to reschedule, the system does not notify them, and there’s no way to automate this process. This is ridiculous in 2024.

🔴 Their “smart” answering system is a joke – Genius Answering (Jessica) can’t even tell customers the prices of your services, yet it costs $200 per month! I have another AI agent for $9 per month that does far more—it provides pricing information and can even book appointments independently.

🔴 "Jessica" can’t be customized – You can’t change her name or voice. So, if a customer calls a competitor who also uses Workiz, they’ll hear the exact same “Jessica” answering the phone. Great way to lose brand identity.

Workiz is a service that charges you at every step, performs poorly, and has an endless list of issues. I do NOT recommend it!

What I like most about Workiz is the Convenience. Even if I'm not at the office, or near my computer, I can still update jobs and contact customers with ease through the Workiz mobile app. I can upload attachments, enter payments, review notes and customer info, everything! My favorite software by far. Also, the customer support team is unmatched! I'm always assisted in such a timely manner.

One limitation I've noticed is the inability to schedule multiple jobs within the same timeframe simultaneously. It would be a great time-saver if there were a way to batch-schedule similar tasks, especially for high-volume workflows. That said, the rest of the scheduling features are solid and work well for most use cases.

I’ve been a loyal Workiz user and advocate for years, recommending it to numerous home service business owners and even hosting online sessions to show how great the platform is. But my recent experience has completely shattered my trust in the company.

In September, I contacted Workiz to reduce the number of accounts from 10 to 5, as I only use 4. The representative assured me the change would be made, but nothing happened. I was still charged for 10 accounts for the next two months.

When I reached out again, another representative promised to fix the issue. Yet, three days ago, I was charged $800 AGAIN for 10 accounts!

This isn’t just frustrating—it’s unacceptable. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, Workiz has failed to follow through. At this point, I feel that speaking directly to them is pointless.

As a member of several home service business owner communities, I’ve always encouraged others to switch to Workiz. But after this experience, I’ll be advising everyone to stay away and consider alternatives like Housecall Pro.

Workiz’s lack of accountability and poor handling of customer concerns is incredibly disappointing. I hope they take these issues seriously and start prioritizing their customers before they lose even more of their loyal base.

You can tag each phone call with a tag to show the source of the call. You can monitor your team, their hours, permissions, you can buy phone numbers for the business and so much more. It's even better than Salesforce in my opinion.

The history search is a bit limited to a certain time, you can only expoort contacts up to 5000 but if you contact support they can do more than that for you. So it's not so bad, just requiring manual intervention.

It can be a little buggy at times, and there is no way to book a sold estimate into two jobs or book a second non-consecutive day on one job.

I'd like to have more freedom on custom fields such as "Clients" and "jobs". I'd like to be able to add dropdowns, completion statuses, etc. something like Notion databases.

Great tech support and they are always adding new features based on customer recommendations.

Some parts of the program do not have customize-able fields just yet.
