What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?

The ability to budget and forecast collectively as opposed to very centralized is a huge benefit of Adaptive. We have team memebers request the inputs they need so they can plan effectively based on our operations. This increases throughput significantly compared to planning in Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?

There aren't many things to complain about. Workday makes great improvements to the software twice a year and users should keep up with those updates, otherwise those using the software could get confused on improvements that impacted them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?

The seamless integration to the general ledger is really helpful in creating cost center and company level forecasts. The planning team loves the tie in to Excel for day-to-day use. Go live was seamless, as we were going live with a FINS-first implementation at the same time. We are using it every month to update the outlook, as well as for the annual budgeting cycle. What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?

There is a bit of a learning curve. I wish we had better understanding of all it can do, it would help us see a better vision of where we can take it to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?

Adaptive's reporting capabilities are unmatched. Having the ability to pull data into Excel leveraging Adpative's OfficeConnect add-on and then being able to seamlessly build reports/models that are repeatable and scalable has saved countless hours for our company and has provided leadership with visibility into our financials like never before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?

After the initial build, you really need to know how the behind-the-scenes work in order to make any significant changes in Adaptive. Workday offers limited resources for free and often will require users to spend money for anything beyond basic level support. I also think the "Planning" Excel Add-On needs major work in order to be leveraged as a useful tool. It can be buggy and does not scale well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
