What do you like best about Vonage Communications APIs?

Simple to setup and use via API. Ability to view historical SMSs has come in handy. Auto payments mean I do not have to keep making deposits when it runs low. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have bumped my head against the throttling a few times, but have managed code around it. It could perhaps be eased over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Vonage Communications APIs?

The ability to have sub-accounts is a must for us, we provide SMS functionality to our clients and so being able to segregate them is vital. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vonage Communications APIs?

The UI can be a little confusing with respect to the account management, I forget the details off the top of my head but the switching options move around between various areas of the system. Sometimes top-left, other times top-right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Been using Nexmo for about two years. In this time we were able to find how to best work with it and now are fully satisfied with Nexmo.

What do you like best about Vonage Communications APIs?

I like when it works. Since they refuse our payment methods out of the blue. I quite hate everything about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vonage Communications APIs?

The fact that they suddenly refused our Credit Card and Paypal payments (after both payment methods have been used many times over the last year); Now after failing to fund our account, Nexmo decided we can only pay using an international wire transfer which will take 3-5 business days to clear. Until then our website is crippled and our users cannot complete their registration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hi,

We apologize for the inconveniences caused. We were resolving an issue with payment capabilities, however, this change impacted the rule to allow existing users to continue to make payments with previous payment methods. When we released the change, it blocked customers from the payment methods between September 7 to September 12.

We would like to convey that the issue has now been resolved as of September 12 and customers affected should now have access to the previous payment methods. Please go ahead and use the payment capabilities as before.

Thank you for being a Nexmo customer and sorry for the inconveniences once again.
