Nexmo has it all. It also has great pricing in comparison to functionality. I understand why it is limited, but it could be avoided with a different approach. My web app is written in Python, and it was just a matter of copy pasting a piece of code and you are up and running in minutes for testing and production. Only issue I had one time was getting a success message but I never got the actual text. Also the dashboard is well-made and offers you complete control over your services. Also, nexmo offers libraries for many programming languages. We use their java library and we have not experienced any issues yet. It's integrated smoothly with our service and our customers are happy. **What do you dislike about Vonage Communications APIs?** Not having the ability to determine the cost of a call by using the number. Right now we have to extract the meta from the number and then compare it ourselves with their pricing sheets. You can use number insights to do that, but it would be better if they offered a solution. Also, the voice API offers only 2 types of audio (audio/l16;rate=8000, audio/l16;rate=16000). It would be really nice if they implemented different codecs such as Opus and different rates (so we don't waste CPU cycles upsampling the audio for our needs) Their support could be faster, one time we had to wait 3 days for a response. **Recommendations to others considering Vonage Communications APIs:** If you want an easy way to perform calls to the world without using SIP and advanced UDP streaming, Nexmo is your solution. We've been able to use Nexmo in conjunction with others tools to create different calls scenario that matched our need. Support is also helpful and answer quickly. Integration took less then a week to go from testing to production with the help from the support. No complains about the quality of the calls, this is a huge improvement after trying many competitors where there was many issues like delays and echo during the calls. The number of calls per seconds is high enough so we do not have to worry about loads issues. Auto-recharge of credits is great so we do not have to worry about recharging and blocking our customers. **What do you dislike about Vonage Communications APIs?** Logs searching and statistics could be improved. It's also lacking real time viewing and calls monitoring. The WebRTC API is not yet available on a stable release so we had to use an external solution, but it should be released within months. The invoice system only allow to receive invoice by mail instead of being directly available on the account.
