Visier is a great way to combine and aggregate your disparate Workforce data enabling the possiblity of slicing/dicing data not only with different shapes, but also using a variety of tools with which to gain insight. Out of the box, Visier has hundreds of prebuilt analyses which serve as the catalyst for more analyses, deeper dives and wider scopes. Also the Customer Service in all areas of the product have been fantastic. As the product technical lead for my company, I use Visier almost everyday assisting users in many aspects. While the information and pre-made insights are really a great way to get people's attention, the visuals are still very elementary. While I know the data can be connected to Power BI or Tableau, I would rather keep my data in the same environment and have some of the basic graphics available. The charts out of Visier are monochromatic and simple. I would love to be able to create a dashboard with a map or a simple infographic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Visier consolidates our data and provides insights at our fingertips. It takes days long effort and turns it into minutes, allowing us to dig deeper. The licensing structure allows us to democratize data, choosing any level in the organization, all the way down to individual employees, to access the system without adding license costs. This greatly enhances our ability to share relevant insights at all levels in the org.
Additionally, Visier allows roles new to data to leverage a learn by doing mindset in a safe space where they cannot make mistakes and 'ruin' anything. Most question they want to ask are available along with explanations of how the visualization was derived. Because it's not as intimidating as some other systems, we have a higher adoption rate and can see our team using the tool frequently in their day-to-day.
The implementation is as easy as the cleanliness and structures of your data allows. The pre-built integrations make getting data into Visier a piece of cake. The implementation team is very helpful inthe process and supports you fully, working hard to make your data appear properly within the tool.

The downsides I see include reassuring HR that they aren't being replaced but this is additive to their day-to-day and will enable them to impact the business and the work that may be needed on data literacy so users fully understand what they seeing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The support Visier offers is top-notch: including implementation support (both initial and later add-ons), issue resolution, knowledge and best practice sharing, etc. Additionally, the overall scope and breadth of metrics and visualizations is impressive and covers the vast majority of people analytics needs/requests. Users of Visier often face a fairly steep learning curve. Thus, casual or unmotivated users often give up on the tool without consistent efforts to keep them coming back. Also, this is a relatively minor thing, but many features of visualizations are not as customizable as I personally would like. Visier's security allows the user to share sensitive HR data with the organization at a level of detail appropriate for their business needs.
