What do you like best about Vendavo?

the best about profit analyzer is the ease of use - i.e. predefined charts that can be quickly use to build the dashboard Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Vendavo?

The UI its very intuitive and user friendly.

The administration and customization of the system doesn't require a high programmer expertise.

What do you like best about Vendavo?

Vendavo allows the business I work to really dive into the details of pricing and helps us see where we can improve pricing to certain customers as well as tighten the band of price dispersion we have in some markets. It is an easy tool to use for our marketing and sales teams. The deal manager is useful in tracking our negotiated discounting and ways to improve it. The price manage module helps the business understand pricing via a waterfall and how we can have different list pricing across channels and countries. I would recommend this product to any company that really wants to understand pricing and help launch their business into pricing science. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vendavo?

It took our information technology team a lot longer to implement it in our business than anticipated and we had to do a lot of customization to fit it to the way we do business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Vendavo?

I like the vendavo interface, you don't need that much knowledge to start using it, I like that it offers a complete analysis of recent transactions and gives a very detailed analysis. It is used for companies that have more than one product, allows to analyze the benefit that can be obtained from current sales data, this allows to analyze the effectiveness of sales, their profit margin and thus be able to make decisions about the products and sales. Vendavo requires updating in the background. This requires the tool to be taken off line and not accessible to the sales support. It would be great for the tool to update during off hours to allow for a seamless interaction with the end user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Vendavo?

Our small B2C business evaluated several CPQ providers in detail before deciding on Vendavo CPQ. We chose Vendavo CPQ due to: 1) customizable and intuitive user interface 2) ability to implement ourselves with guided support/training 3) reasonable implementation and ongoing cost.

Our vision was to have our sales team be able to develop quotes “live” in front of customers using tablets/ipads mirrored on large TVs. Additionally, our long-term vision is to allow customers to refine their own quotes using a web portal interface. Therefore, an intuitive user interface was the most critical criteria to our CPQ system as many users may not be extremely tech-savvy. Vendavo has certainly delivered as initial training took less than 1 hour for our sales team to understand the basics to quote. Customers love the pricing transparency and ability to make their own option selections with the “live quote” process using tablets mirrored on large TVs.

We chose a hybrid implementation strategy (combination of admin training, self-implementation, and Vendavo implementation) primarily due to value and long-term self-management. We are a small company and do not have dedicated programmers for implementation. Even with a complex product with many selections, the Vendavo CPQ admin interface and programming was easy enough to implement most of the system on our own. Our Project Manager was outstanding in teaching the system rather than just “taking the wheel.”

In the 6 months since launch, we have only scratched the surface of possibilities with Vendavo CPQ and continue to add new features to improve system. Vendavo has been supportive in developing new features and resolving issues. Vendavo CPQ has transformed the way we do business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vendavo?

Negatives are minor compared to upside. 1) Our users are not fans of the latest user interface (Version 10) as it appears to be less tablet friendly - key navigation features seem to be placed in poor locations and some changed from buttons to text. 2) Database upload process can be a bit awkward, but understandable since system can handle very complex products at multiple price points, locations, currencies, etc. 3) Need ability to “auto-save” quotes in process. What problems is Vendavo solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have reduced the time to quote from a 3-4 day behind-the-scenes process due requiring supplier quote inquiries and tribal knowledge to being able to accurately quote live in front of customer in 1-2 hours. The quote process now has a standard flow to logically guide customers through each available selection. Quote accuracy has improved significantly.
