## Userpilot Reviews
 ### 1. Super Responsive Support and Value-Adding Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt P. | Implementation Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Great support, out onboarding manager has been super responsive, timely with solutions and adds value where they see an opportunity.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Although the adoption initially didn't feel as intuitive, once the foundation steps and Nav were understood it became easy to find options/flows/deployment.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding teams are finding new customer adoption much quicker, increasing the Time to Value, using tooltips/welcome flows.

 ### 2. Intuitive UI and Actionable Insights Drive Demand Gen Success

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

As a demand gen marketer, the intuitive UI (ease of use), implementation on our website and campaigns, and ability to leverage, track, measure, and determine actionable insights from reporting is fantastic! Also has provided a pipeline-impact "Product Tour" CTA on our website! Integrates very well with our other tools.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Honestly, no complaints; the reporting is great, but could benefit from more consolidated report/dash that shows all flow engagement in one view for sharing with broader team. (this may be feasible & I am just unaware - will speak with the UP team!)

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot has solved several problems:
- Enabling Demand Gen team to self-serve flows when need (building, publishing, etc)
- Enabling team to leverage Product Tours in our website, sales outreach, and marketing efforts
- Identifying + measuring how prospects are engaging with our demo environment + Userpilot flows
- Very easy to use & intuitive

 ### 3. Facilitate User Engagement, but Challenges Remain

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esteban F.

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like the fact that Userpilot is relatively simple to set up to create a flow that allows messages to appear at the right time and to the right audience. This simplicity in setting up message flows makes the tool very effective for tailoring communications according to the specific needs of our product. This allows me to precisely target users with relevant information.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The loading time is sometimes quite high when creating audience segments (possibly related to the synchronization of our numerous data). Furthermore, editing certain flows is sometimes made complicated by repetitive page reloads (but this might be due to the architecture of our application).

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot allows us, among other things, to communicate the value of new features and thus contribute to their adoption and more broadly to customer satisfaction (and therefore retention).

 ### 4. Insightful Analytics with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny L. | Data Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I appreciate Userpilot for allowing me to gain product insights by seeing what users are doing on my platform. I find the user retention and time spent metrics particularly helpful as they give me data-driven insights into how users actually engage with the product over time, instead of just assumptions. I also like the NPS survey feature which includes a localization option.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I wish there was a field on the NPS survey that allows me to tag internal employees for follow-up and include a follow-up status.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to gain product insights. It helps me see how users engage over time, offering data-driven insights. The NPS survey feature includes a localization option.

 ### 5. Easy way to inform customer about features, webinars, important announcements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Musharruf S. | Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The best thing is the ease of use. It's set up in such a way that creating flows, checklists or banners is pretty intuitive and took us just a short while to get everything set up. We use is consistently to communicate with our customers to highlight any new feature releases, upcoming webinars, important platform-wide announcements, surveys, NPS scores etc.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

We found it a bit tricky when trying to import lists from HubSpot to target some specific users for updates/comms. Even though we managed to figure it out in the end, the process could be a bit smoother I feel.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us communicate updates to our customers as well as getting their feedback on the platform. UserPilot has made the process relatively easy and hassle free.

 ### 6. Userpilot Is Intuitive for Reports, Top Events, and Surveys

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot is fairly intuitive -- I can easily create reports, create and look at top events, and launch surveys.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Some of the top things I try to do were hidden but once you learned where they are, it's easy to go back

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot is allowing us to better understand customer behavior in our product. This allows us to create better experiences for our customers

 ### 7. Convenient and Highly Recommended—A Must-Use Tool for Targeting the Right Audience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arshiya A. | HR Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot is convenient to use, and it helps us target the right audience at the right time. It feels like a must-use tool for everyone. Highly recommended.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I like everything about it, can't think of anything that I dislike at the moment.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us extending our projects with the funnel integration, which is less efforts with high maximasition. It also goes with other tools hand in hand. Also helping our product grow

 ### 8. Fantastic tools, easy to get started and powerful features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam R. | CPO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The no code event configuration makes it super easy to configure and get started. The engagement tools, banners, guides etc. let us level up our approach to our product operations with very little work upfront.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

So far, I haven't encountered anything to dislike. I do wonder if we might eventually outgrow it as we scale, but that point still seems far off.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, we struggled to gain a clear understanding of how our Merchant users engaged with the management portal. Although we had Google Analytics set up, configuring it was a lengthy process, and adding new events always required code changes. With Userpilot, setup is much faster, and events can be added directly through the Chrome plugin. This makes it incredibly easy to test new hypotheses in real time.

 ### 9. Empowers Insightful Product Usage Analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

I like that Userpilot allows us to track what users are doing on the platform and provides insight into analytics, which helps in testing new features better. The integration with HubSpot is particularly valuable, making the information insightful. It helps give insight so we can guide users at the right moments throughout the platform.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

It has a bit of a learning curve also around the reporting.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps us track product usage and test new features better, providing insights to all employees. It enhances our ability to guide users at the right moment across the platform. Its integration with HubSpot makes the information more insightful.

 ### 10. Feature-Rich and Easy to Integrate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaushal L.

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I have been using Userpilot for over a year to track user activity and provide feedback, and its features have greatly facilitated my workflow. I like the feature-rich capabilities of Userpilot, particularly its insightful dashboard that provides in-depth knowledge of user interactions on my site. The ease of integration is another standout feature for me, making it a seamless addition to my toolchain. The documentation is incredibly user-friendly compared to others I've used, enabling setup in under an hour. Userpilot solves the challenge of diagnosing unique user issues due to browser restrictions or network problems by bridging the knowledge gap, allowing me to address bugs efficiently. This has resulted in a significant reduction of time spent troubleshooting, enabling me to resolve user issues mostly within the same day. The ability to provide specific feedback and gain insights into user behavior has been invaluable in enhancing my project's effectiveness. Overall, Userpilot’s capabilities and easy integration into our internal tool for managing data and analytics are reasons I would choose to buy it again.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Nothing as of now. but i will keep in mind to forward my requests to user pilots team if i think anything can be approved

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to track user activity, collect data, and provide feedback, solving issues that are specific to individual users. It saves time and improves user issue resolution by providing insights and feedback based on user experiences.

 ### 11. Userpilot Makes In-App Guidance, Surveys, and Alerts Seamless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot helps us deliver timely in-app knowledge content to our users. It also lets us manage surveys and send important alerts, all within the same tool.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Some of the content editing can feel a bit clunky at first, but once you know what you’re doing, it’s not really an issue.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The NPS data helps us understand where we’re falling short for our users, and it lets us focus our development roadmap on closing those gaps. Userpilot also makes it easy to surface information about new updates and key features to our users.

 ### 12. Game changer for improving our product onboarding and user engagement with less development effort

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I really like how easy it is to use and implement Userpilot. The setup process was smooth, and we were able to launch our first in-app experiences in just a few days. The platform offers a great range of features while still being intuitive and user-friendly, so we use it frequently to create and update onboarding flows, tooltips, and checklists. Plus, their customer support team is always responsive and helpful whenever we have questions.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

While the platform is great overall, integrating with some third-party tools can take extra configuration, and the analytics dashboard could offer more advanced reporting options. Also, when we build more complex experiences, the editor can get a bit slow at times. Despite that, we use it regularly because the overall functionality and support make up for these small drawbacks.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps us improve user onboarding, product adoption, and overall engagement without relying heavily on developers. It allows us to create personalized in-app experiences, guide users through key features, and reduce friction during the onboarding process. As a result we have more clear visions about our product usage

 ### 13. Effective Onboarding Tool with a User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aryan C.

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I liked how clean and organized the interface feels. Even during a short trial, it was easy to understand where things are and how onboarding flows can be created without much complexity. Another positive point is the structured approach to user guidance. The way steps and tooltips are arranged makes it easier to plan onboarding in a simple and logical way.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Pricing might be a concern for individuals or small teams. Also, some features feel like they need more time to fully explore, especially for beginners.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps prevent user confusion during onboarding, allowing users to discover features independently with in-app guidance without needing much external documentation.

 ### 14. Easy to Handle, Versatility of Customization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanne R. | Product Marketing Specialist, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love the ease of use of Userpilot and the multiple customization options for the modals to match the aesthetics of our application. Additionally, the transition to Userpilot was simple and quick, and the initial setup only required logging in and downloading the Chrome plugin.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Userpilot could improve the prioritization among all the user engagement features they offer. When there are quite a few flows, banners, or checklists that are active for the same user population, they all appear at the same time and overload the application.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to understand user behavior and measure feature adoption. It allows our product team to manage the app without IT and offers customization options for modals to match our aesthetics.

 ### 15. Great customer support!

**Reviewed by:** Lysle H. | Product Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I use UserPilot to build in-app onboarding checklists, flows, surveys, and feature announcement banners. I've also been loving the beta email feature, and I'm looking forward to seeing that tool evolve. My favourite thing about UserPilot is the support. Our rep, Lauren, is fantastic! She's knowledgeable, friendly, and fast.

(UserPilot is also easier to use than Pendo, in my opinion.)

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Looking forward to seeing UserPilot's email feature evolve. The UserPilot team has been great at updating their tools.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserPilot makes it easy to build checklists, flows, surveys, and feature announcement banners.

 ### 16. Seamless UI and Amazing Customer Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harsh K. | Senior Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I use Userpilot for product adoption, measurements, surveys, and promotions. I appreciate how easy it is to push out new content directly into product workflows with custom attributes like how often a survey should be presented to the user. I really like the ease of use with dynamic custom options and find navigation easy to pick up in the online tool. The initial setup of Userpilot was very easy, making it hassle-free to get started.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Some surveys do not get the response rate we are hoping for.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot to easily push out new content directly into product workflows with custom attributes, such as setting how often surveys should be presented to users.

 ### 18. Powerful Analytics, Needs Better Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I really enjoy diving into the data with Userpilot. Having accessibility to all this information helps me make data-driven product decisions. Userpilot provides me access to data that allows me to identify the pain points our users are facing, which is invaluable in my role.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Userpilot provides A LOT of data. Understanding which data is useful is the challenge.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

n/a

 ### 20. Effortless Onboarding with Powerful, Insightful Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noelle S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love how it not only makes creating in-app onboarding easy, but also the depth of analytics it provides. The click tracking and user behavior data make it easy to see exactly how people are interacting with different features, which helps us make data-driven decisions. The platform makes it simple to identify patterns, optimize workflows, and measure the impact of changes in real time.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The amount of data can sometimes feel a little overwhelming at first. That said, it’s also one of the platform’s strengths, because it gives you very detailed insights once you get familiar with it. With a bit of exploration, the depth of data really becomes a huge advantage!

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot is solving the challenge of understanding exactly how users interact with our product.

 ### 21. Userpilot is great and easy to learn!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren B. | Customer Success Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love how easy Userpilot is to build and how easy it is to make it cohesive with our branding. We have had an amazing experience since we signed up, and our customer support representative is amazing. She helps us with every question we have, answers our emails very timely, and constantly builds new things for us that she thinks would benefit us. It was very easy to implement and set this up, and we use it almost every day. The help center in itself is amazing and we love how easy everything has been.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I will admit it was a little scary at first, and it took some time to learn but once I put the time in and understood it - everything clicked.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We did not have a resource center before so it has given us that opportunity and it is giving us a way to track user retention, usage and adoption. We did not have these tools before, so they are very beneficial.

 ### 22. Really impressed with Userpilot's features for product marketers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna R. | Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

We recently implemented Userpilot as a replacement for another product and so far I have found the capabilities and features of Userpilot to be a great fit for us. I have been particularly impressed by the session tracking, giving us the ability to understand how our users are using our product. As a marketer the checklists and flows have been great so far in helping us take users through how to use our product.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Took me a while to get used to the flow editor but have got the hang of it now

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us to guide new and existing users through new elements of our product.

 ### 23. First impressions getting started with User Pilot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin C. | QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The insights we can get from funnels and paths are invaluable to improving our user experiences and discovering how our users actually interact with our product.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Labeling events can be quite tedious and there is a bit of a learning curve around using the visual labeler and editing the css selectors.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to figure out how users interact with our product and what are our most used features. The flows and paths are very valuable in that regard. Also, being able to direct users from certain pages is very helpful as well.

 ### 24. Intuitive and powerful

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love that Userpilot lets me build tooltips, banners, checklists, and modals without needing any dev support — it makes launching in‑app guidance super quick. The targeting is a standout feature too; being able to tailor messages based on user actions, attributes, and lifecycle stage means everything feels relevant instead of generic.
And my favourite part: you can back‑date event analytics! It’s amazing to instantly see how users have interacted with different areas of the product without having to wait for data to trickle in.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

It can be a bit of reporting dashboard overload - personally there's only a couple of metrics that are usual in my role - perhaps would be nice to be able to pick and choose which graphs/tables/reports that are most relevant to you.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding, and product usage analytics.

 ### 25. Transformative User Onboarding with Minor Coding Hurdles

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fah'ad U.

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot has been transformative for product management by guiding users through our products effectively. It helps reduce churn and offers a personalized in-app experience. I like how it provides checklists and surveys without needing heavy coding. Integrations are one of Userpilot's strengths. Also, the setup was interesting and smooth.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Some advanced customization might still need a bit of JavaScript. Specifically, situations arise where in-app user customization isn’t available after login, which can be challenging.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot transformed our product management, reducing churn with personalized in-app experiences. It allows checklists and surveys without heavy coding.

 ### 26. Great tool for onboarding new staff or even new features on our platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Younis A. | Senior Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Simple and intuitive to use, I can spin up a new announcement and flow for a new feature or product in minutes. It is easy to implement and integrate, we use it all the time to announce new changes and features to our users.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I wish it could do the same for our mobile App.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me a way to ensure users are aware and onboarded to new announcements, products and features. This is historically difficult as we had to point users to an external training, video or presentation which has many barriers and relied on heavy admin or campaign in order to ensure target participation.

 ### 27. Effortless Onboarding and Insightful Analytics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bor K. | Senior Product Designer

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I find Userpilot incredibly useful for getting information and data once it's set up. I appreciate their onboarding and implementation help, which was great, and their team was always ready to jump on a call to help us implement or set something up. The integration with HubSpot, while initially requiring some effort, now works great.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Positioning some tags, buttons and such is very hard to fit in perfectly in our already existing UI.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Userpilot for product analytics, identifying user trends, and simplifying onboarding. It helps track trends and find outliers, making it easy to get valuable data.

 ### 28. Good view on analytics of your website

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul A. | Business Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

UserPilot provides an easy and quick overview of your website activity through trackers, with the ability to deep dive into each step users take. This makes it a powerful tool for analyzing user behavior.
On the one occasion we faced an issue, their support team responded quickly and scheduled a slot right away to resolve the situation.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The application’s navigation could be better organized. Sometimes I find myself going through two or three menus, only to realize that the information I need is located on another tab

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserPilot is the tool we use to design user flows within our web app. I mainly rely on it to review statistics on button click-throughs and better understand user behavior, including details such as their browser and other usage patterns

 ### 29. Great insights, easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura A. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot shines in enabling product teams to create onboarding flows, tooltips, modals, and checklists without engineering support. This empowers me to experiment with user experiences quickly and iterate based on data. The ability to launch NPS surveys and gather user feedback inside the product is a great bonus. It helps close the loop between product changes and customer sentiment.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Pricing scales with Monthly Active Users (MAUs), so for products with a freemium model or large user base, costs can rise quickly. I sometimes have to be selective about where we deploy experiences.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps me improve user onboarding, activation, and feature adoption without relying on engineering. Before, making onboarding changes or highlighting new features took development time and slowed experimentation. Now, I can quickly create personalized flows, tooltips, and checklists to guide users at the right moments. I also use in-app surveys to gather feedback and measure user sentiment directly in the product. The built-in analytics help me track what’s working and optimize the experience. Overall, it’s helped us increase user engagement, speed up onboarding improvements, and ensure our product changes lead to real impact—all with faster iteration.

 ### 30. Super easy to implement and monitor and our end users really like it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

We were looking for a product to help our end users become more autonomous. The flows and spotlights available within UserPilot made it super simple to guide our end users through complete workflows so they could do their own configurations in our system. This helped to alleviate the administrative burden on our implementation team, as we were able to direct the end user to a flow and through muscle memory, the end user was able to complete the flow, remember the steps, or return to the flow as many times as needed until they got the hang of the setup steps. Once we implemented the flows and spotlights all throughout our system, we expanded to additional pages where we felt the same guided user experience would be helpful. After 6 months of using UserPilot we have found so many use cases where UserPilot has been helpful. We now use it for multiple teams including Learning and Development, Training, Product Releases, System status updates, and more. Not to mention, it was incredibly easy for us to setup on our own. We did not need to reach out to a customer success manager or go through a lengthy onboarding process with UserPilot. The features were easy to implement on our own and worked seemlessly with our platform. Support has also been awesome. We actually implemented LiveChat within our own company after using it with UserPilot and it being a successful way to get support from a live agent.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Analytics are a little hard to understand and how to create and track events that occur. I have been successful at creating and tracking pages, but I have not fully dove into the analytics and how to use them to understand how our user-base is adopting our platform. This is not at the fault of UserPilot. The resources are there, we just haven't really had the time to look at them. Its not as easy as the creating for flows, spotlights, banners, resource center, etc.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted our end users to be more autonomous in their configurations within our platform. Flows and spotlights have allowed us to create self-guided user experiences that can be used over and over again to educate our end users on how to achieve a certain goal. This has saved our team time from having to complete setup on behalf of our customers and has enabled the end-user to own their configuration and make changes as needed. We also needed a better way to store our educational material. We were using Google Drive and did not want to purchase an expensive learning management platform so the Resource Center has been a great option to make our content readily available to our customer base. We have recently started using Flows and Banners on the product side to introduce new products and features, highlight our release notes, and announce if we are experience an issue with our platform and when the issue has been resolved. This has been incredibly helpful as we are able to reach our entire customer base within a tool that they use daily, and we are able to see analytics on how many people have seen the announcement to begin to understand reach. We plan to implement a customer satisfaction survey in the Fall of this year.

 ### 31. The use of the tool only increases

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The feature I like the best is it's retroactive analytics. Even you forgot to add an event to a flow in the analytics dashboard, and you add it later it will still include data from the past. Very useful.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Even though I know this is not an analytics tool, I'd like some improvements in it's analytics. More funnels, more charts, the ability to publish them so they are visible without needing an account to see them, etc.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving our onboarding journey, which serves multiple personas and User Pilot allows to customise the journeys. It is also used for emergencies like "I need a banner saying this or that" which is not it's purpose, but it's a use!

 ### 32. Valuable tool for a PO!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon S. | Product Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

A very valuable tool for a product owner! The default dashboards are very well organized and designed. Customizing reports based on custom user segments allows us to effectively analyze our customers' behaviors. We can easily set up funnels. So far, we haven't had any issues with customer support, which is always available. Usage: every month/week. Simple tool to understand and integrate into our practices.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The price is a bit high. We would like an offer more suited to the size of our organization.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot allows me to guide users directly within the application through interactive journeys, without specific development. It facilitates onboarding, improves the adoption of new features, and reduces the need for support.

 ### 33. Quickly became our favorite tool (Edit: 2025 Update)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrés T. | Product Designer/CRM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

At Komet Sales, this tool has unblocked multiple growth opportunities for us to reduce onboarding times and costs, increase conversion and retention, analyze our user's activity, gather their feedback, and gauge NPS.

Basically, UserPilot quickly became our most used tool in the product area.

I am a product team member, and we use this tool for multiple things, from creative interactive tutorials (flows) to user surveys, marketing announcements, etc. The analytics dashboards are super cool and the tool is extremely easy to learn and implement.

The customer support team has been always available and quick to assist us with the few problems we've had during implementation.

We love UserPilot and it's not just us in the product team. Every customer-facing team in our company is thrilled with the possibilities. The only thing that is missing is more time on our side to implement every idea.

2025 Update:

Userpilot will definitely pay for itself, especially if you use it like we did: No-code internal user marketing/upselling.

Last year, we launched one of our newest products, but our marketing department was struggling to get leads through the usual channels. The quarter was running out, and it was time to try something new.

That's where we, at product, came in with an in-app upselling campaign to create awareness where it mattered most: our existing clients, and in the only place where we could be sure they would see it.

Within two weeks of the quarter ending, and only two companies having subscribed before this campaign, we had crushed our quarterly goal of 20 companies subscribing to our new product; we got 30.

Since then, Userpilot has become our go-to tool for upselling our range of products to existing clients. Nothing has been more effective so far. And only with this use case (one of many that consistently add value to our business) and the contracts obtained from that campaign can we safely say that Userpilot has paid itself multiple times over.

And with this update, I can say again: Userpilot is entirely worth it, especially when you use it for more than just providing contextual help to your users.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

One thing that is missing is the ability to rearrange the information inside of the app based on the selected column or desired parameters.

2025 Update:

They removed the heatmap feature, which is super important to us. However, I spoke with Danny, our CSM, and he assured me they are working to improve it and bring it back soon.

Let's hope they do, it was very useful, especially when showing findings to decision-makers not involved in day-to-day operations.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

UserPilot helps us with the following:

- NPS
- User Research
- In-app onboardings and announcements
- Analytics
- Segmentation
- Contextual Marketing

 ### 34. Powerful Tool for UX Insights and Continuous Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Americo F. | Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

As a Product Designer working on an LMS platform, Userpilot has been incredibly helpful in understanding how users interact with our site. The ability to collect in-app feedback and segment users based on behavior gives me clear, actionable insights to improve the user experience.

Creating onboarding flows and feature highlights without code is a big plus, but what I value most is the visibility into real usage patterns. It’s helped validate design decisions and surface areas of friction we wouldn’t have found otherwise.

If you're a designer looking to make data-informed UX improvements, Userpilot is a must-have.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

While Userpilot is powerful, the UI can feel a bit overwhelming at first—especially when setting up more advanced segmentation or experiments. It takes some time to get fully comfortable, but once you’re past the learning curve, the value is undeniable.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating onboarding flows and feature highlights without code is a big plus—it saves time and empowers our team to launch and iterate quickly without waiting on dev resources. But what truly sets Userpilot apart for me is the visibility it provides into how users actually engage with our LMS platform.

With behavior-driven analytics, I can see which features are being used, which ones are ignored, and where users tend to drop off. This level of insight has been critical in validating design assumptions and prioritizing UX improvements based on real usage rather than guesswork.

 ### 35. Life changing!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kayme O. | VP, Customer Experience & Product Strategy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

UserPilot is very customizable and has so many options. There has not been one time where I thought to myself "I wish they had this option." They have seriously thought through all of the different needs their customers could ever need or want. It's very user friendly and the analytics are top notch! Their integration options are super helpful too.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There is nothing to dislike, we get the best support and features!

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Userpilot we had no analytics to our product. Having insights has been the most valuable to us so we can see the user's journey and where we are finding inconsistencies, issues and poor adoption. We are able to communicate to our users when we identify issues immediately rather than being reactive to issues. We are able to also use the platform to promote and build attention to new features and use it for sales tactics! It's been life changing.

 ### 36. Great User and Company Tracking solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The tracking user by user and companies.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There is no option to add information about our user to help segmentation or create very quick custom segments.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us knowing better our user fleet and its behaviour. So, it avoids doubts or unnecessary questions our teams can ask themselves.

 ### 37. Great for CSAT Surveys and in-app messaging!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I mainly use it to conduct CSAT surveys.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

We aren’t able to use the timed feature to set a launch date for a survey. Instead, we have to launch the survey manually each time.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to add in-app messaging and survey clients

 ### 38. Effortless User Onboarding and Analytics Without Coding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Walter W. | Sir, Animation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like that I can improve my product without coding using Userpilot. The built-in product analytics is another great feature because it lets me see what users actually do. Also, the initial setup was easy, which is a plus.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Pricing flexibility

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot for user onboarding to address low engagement. I like that I can improve my product without coding. The built-in product analytics help me see what users actually do.

 ### 39. A flexible tool that saves our team time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah M. | Director of Curriculum, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot has been a great tool for us. We use it to post banners that notify users about holiday hours, outages, or other important updates, which at times has significantly reduced the number of support calls we receive. I also really like the Resource Center, which gives customers easy access to our most helpful support articles.

Best of all, we’re able to do all of this without needing any development time, which makes it fast and flexible for our team to manage. While our knowledge base doesn’t have a seamless integration with Userpilot yet, we’ve made it work with links for now, and I’m looking forward to exploring more integration options in the future. The user guides have been incredibly helpful in walking users through specific parts of our product. It's a great way to let people know how to use new features/functionality.

Overall, it’s easy to use, very effective, and we’re really happy with it. I’m excited to see how we can expand our use of it going forward.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I do wish our knowledge base had a smoother integration with Userpilot, but I’m hopeful we can improve that in the future. It takes a bit of time to get everything set up, but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty easy to use.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing support volume, improving customer self-service, enhancing user onboarding and product education, increasing efficiency

 ### 40. Streamlined onboarding and in-app experiences made easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sierra K. | Manager, Onboarding and Academy , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot makes it incredibly simple to launch onboarding flows, in-app messages, and product tours without relying on engineering. The visual builder is intuitive, and the segmentation options allow us to target users based on behavior, which has been key to improving trial conversion. Their support team is also very responsive and helpful when troubleshooting or exploring advanced use cases.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The analytics dashboard could be more customizable, and sometimes tracking specific goal completions requires workarounds. There’s also a bit of a learning curve when setting up more complex flows. Additionally, clearer documentation on best practices would make scaling across multiple personas and journeys more seamless.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot is helping us solve onboarding friction and improve feature adoption without needing constant developer involvement. We can quickly create targeted in-app experiences that guide users through key workflows, introduce new features, and gather feedback. This has significantly reduced time-to-value for new users, improved activation rates, and allowed our team to test and iterate on onboarding strategies in real-time.

 ### 41. A shortcut to user adoption and enablement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bradley S. | Director of Sales Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

As part of the presales team we always face the challenge of new people getting added to an evaluation and having to take a step back to make sure they get up to speed and understand our product. And that's if we're even aware of them being added to the evaluation. Userpilot helps us make sure no new user falls through the crack of understanding how to best use our platform to see immediate value. I have also heard great things from out postsales team and the role Userpilot plays in enablement.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

It can be tedious to get user flows set up as we have to set them up separately for each prospect/customer use case but after that initial lift we are off and running with an account.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, it's solving the challenge of getting new users up to speed during a presales engagement without fully having to stop our momentum and reset expectations with individuals added on later in the sales/POC cycle.

 ### 42. Incredibly insightful for managing data and analytics of our product usage

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Izanne B. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I love the events tracking and product stickiness. As Product Manager, it has given me insights into which of our features are being most utilised and also to see where there might be drop-off.

It has also helped to align our roadmap according to most used features and highlighting new features for clients.

We have not used the session replays as much, but are planning on implementing this soon. This will assist in following the steps users take when experiencing errors or bugs.

The integration was easy from a developers side, which was a bonus.

Userpilot has given us the data we need to make informed data-driven decisions for our continued roadmap.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

There are a lot of features, and this can be overwhelming at first.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have the data we need to make informed decisions when building our roadmap.

We did not know how to get clients to follow specific steps for onboarding onto our platform, and this required a lot of time and effort from Account Manager.
How this helps us now, is we have built a workflow for them to have step by step guidance on how to set up their accounts - which gives our Account Managers more time to do actual AM work.

We also wanted a place where clients can ask questions, and submit feedback. Having this in one place is a definite positive from a user perspective.

 ### 43. Great experience and very helpful from the start!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riki-Lé S. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

We recently integrated Userpilot into our workflow, and it’s already making a positive difference. It's easy to use and integrate with. Our team is using it mainly for Customer Onboarding and Customer Support, and it’s helped us streamline communication and drive user adoption. I think the implementation is simple and easy enough for beginners like, myself. I’m excited to see the long-term benefits as we continue to use it more extensively!

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

I've tried the German translations and the automatic translations aren’t quite accurate yet, but I’m hopeful the system will improve with time and usage.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot is helping us solve the challenge of guiding new users through our platform efficiently without needing constant manual support. Before using it, onboarding was time-consuming and inconsistent. Now, we can create in-app experiences that walk users through key features step by step. It’s also helping us engage users better over time with timely prompts and feature updates. This has reduced support tickets and improved user adoption significantly.

 ### 44. User-Friendly Analytics, Minor Integration Issues

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Judy W. | CRM Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I like that Userpilot syncs with HubSpot, which is quite useful for my work. We also appreciate the analytics capabilities and the ability to set up in-app flows, which helps us track user activity effectively. The setup within the tool is relatively straightforward, even though it requires assistance from engineers.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

We're trying to fix the integration so far.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Userpilot for user activity tracking, in-app flows, and NPS. It provides strong analytics and syncs with Hubspot, which is really useful.

 ### 45. Impressive Analytics That Drive Better Product Decisions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Less than a month in but impressed with the analytics capabilities. Being able to track how users move through the product has already helped us make better decisions. Will update as we use more features.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Analytics have been valuable but getting there wasn't quick. The platform has depth, which is great long-term, but expect to invest time upfront before it clicks.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping us pinpoint where user adoption is lacking, so we can better target upsells.

 ### 46. Excellent User Interaction Insights and Usage Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

The ability to see user interaction data and usage

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The platform and tools within could be more intuitive

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having visibility to user usage within our product and this better informs marketing decisions

 ### 47. Great User Flow and Easy-to-Find Actions That Meet Requirements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Great user flow. It’s easy to find the actions I need, and the implementation meets the product requirements.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Sometimes it takes time to find the right values when creating a dashboard.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s easy to track user usage.

 ### 48. A powerful way to craft in-app experiences across brands

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashleigh S. | VP of Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

Userpilot makes it simple to ship thoughtful in-app experiences without engineering lift. The builder is intuitive, targeting is flexible, and analytics make it easy to see what actually moves the needle. It fits our multi-brand reality and lets us tailor journeys by audience and product.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

Occasional learning curve with advanced targeting and analytics. Documentation is good, and our CSM (Cornelia) is so AWESOME...

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can design and iterate in-app experiences quickly, align them to specific customer outcomes, and measure impact in one place. This has improved activation, reduced support touches, and given product and marketing a shared view of what works.

 ### 49. Great Solution for Helping Client and Providing Useful Information

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vannessa V. | Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

I think the best thing about this product is the ability to provide convenient information to clients within another product's interface. It makes it extremely easy to use and integrate with products. It has been proven to be useful for our customer support teams, which frequently use it with our customers. I have found that this has become a hot topic for post-implementation calls with new customers.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

The interface and navigating within Userpilot can be a bit confusing at times. I do wish this was a bit more user friendly.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to relay our customer support information to customers, whether that was support hours or support contact information. Userpilot has solved these issues, and it has allowed us to expand our resource center to include walkthroughs and provide our knowledge articles front and center to customers. This product has bridged a lot of gaps that we were experiencing with our client needs.

 ### 50. Efficient and user-friendly, with a team that truly cares

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yvonne R. | Learning Experience Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Userpilot?**

What I appreciate most about Userpilot is the great level of personal service. Our Customer Success Manager is always accessible and genuinely invested in our success, and the support team consistently responds with impressive speed and ownership. They never push us through unnecessary layers of escalation. Everyone we interact with takes the time to truly help.

The tool itself is clean and straightforward, without any overly complex features that get in the way. It's easy to navigate and does exactly what we need.

I’ve also submitted a few feature improvement requests, and it’s been amazing to see some of those actually implemented. Even when a request isn’t likely to be prioritized, the team is transparent and communicative about it. I really feel heard when I provide feedback.

**What do you dislike about Userpilot?**

While overall we're very satisfied with Userpilot, there are a few areas with room for improvement.

First, I find the Help Center to be somewhat limited. While the support team is always quick and helpful, I prefer to look up answers myself when possible. It would be great if the documentation were more comprehensive and updated more frequently based on common support questions.

Second, I’d love the flexibility to purchase additional seats individually, rather than having to move to an Enterprise plan when we outgrow the current limit.

We also use the NPS functionality, but currently it only supports a single domain. It would be very valuable for us to deploy it across multiple domains.

Lastly, one of the biggest challenges we face is with broken flows when an in-app element changes on our side. Because of this, some steps in a flow can silently stop working. It would be incredibly helpful to receive proactive alerts or diagnostics when something breaks, as it’s not realistic for us to manually re-check all flows after each product release.

**What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Userpilot helps us improve user adoption by guiding users with onboarding tours, release announcements, and maintenance messages, all directly in the app. We also use it to run customer success surveys, which provide valuable feedback. It streamlines user communication.
