UserPilot became that game-changing opportunity that will be leveraged by the large product team. It is really easy to set up even for non-technical users; hence, it helps track customer behavior with walkthroughs and statistics of usage. Support is on time; after several recent updates, the tool is getting really powerful. It is becoming a must-have tool that helps us improve our product and understand our users. This tool is amazing; it still has some flaws. Not all features work as expected, and the analytics can be a little hard for beginners. It'd also be nice if it had more advanced AI capabilities and if integrations with other tools were deeper. But overall, the team fixes problems really fast, and the tool keeps improving. I love that userpilot has a lot of tools for having a complete overview and development of strategies for the activation and retention flows of our product.
It offers a diverse types of personalized flows that gives you the opportunity to create flows such as, onboarding, new features, product engagement, surveys and much more. I like that the platform in terms of creating flows and analyzing metrics is very intuitive and very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If it's your first time using a platform like this, how was my case, the learning curve could be a little frustrating. The implementation itself is easy and userpilot gives you good human support (besides all the content they have, which is great) but you will experience sometimes that the flows that you're creating doesn't work as you expect, not because of the platform, but for the way you are applying the settings that is kind of unique for every user. So you have to learn how to set up everything for your platform and that could take time for every tool that you want to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We were looking for a tool for announcements that was within our budget. With Userpilot, we not only found a budget-friendly announcement tool but also a way to provide in-app help through the use of their resource center functionality. Although we didn’t implement the resource center exactly as originally intended, we successfully customized it to provide page-level help for our complex products, incorporating walkthroughs, links, and videos.
To ensure that the resouce center is meeting the needs of our customers, we used the survey functionality to gather user feedback. The insights we've gained through the survey functionality has helped us understand how and when customers use the resource center and given us insights on other areas of developement.
We love Danny, our sales representative. He listens to our needs and keeps us updated on developments. I have used the support department several times. They are very knowledgeable and are quick to respond to any issues.
Overall, we are very happy with Userpilot and would recommend it to other companies looking for a messaging solution that won't break the budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While you have come a long way with the resouce center functionality there are still issues that, if fixed, would make working with Userpilot much easier. For example, we would like the ability to create a folder under a folder, ability to view a preview of the panel by page, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Userpilot builder has been pretty easy to learn and use and has provided effective in-app flows for onboarding our users, alerting them to new features, and providing training when they need it most -- while they're using our platform. We haven't used all of the features but have used the resource center, surveys, and flows and have generally had a good experience with those. The customer support we've received has been very good. They are always kind, quick to respond, and seek to help solve our problem and provide us with a good experience using Userpilot. I have had a few feature requests be implemented and their team is great at following up about them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like many other companies in this space, I have felt like Userpilot has been expanding their feature set wide, but I find that to be sometimes at the cost of making the features they already have excellent. I wish there were more UI customization options and have found the custom CSS option to not be as cutomizable/effective as we'd have hoped. Other challenges have been trying to distinguish whether roadblocks we run into are due to the way my dev team builds our site or limitations/bugs in Userpilot. I have found it to be that both are the case. I have personally felt that I've needed to collaborate with my dev team more than I expected/wanted to, but that is definitely not entirely due to Userpilot's limitations. Simplicity of implementation and use: the growth plan additionally offers us a privileged period with key contacts who support our implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price may seem quite prohibitive. With the addition of many new tracking and shadow functions, if a good portion of the features are not used, the price remains significant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UserPilot allows us to reach our users in app based on their attributes and actions performed on our app, using various touchpoints (modals, tooltips, banners, self-serve resource center, etc.). The integration with Segment allows events to sync events instantaneously, but UserPilot is interesting even for less matrue teams thanks to native feature and event tagging capabilities. Marketing teams have a way to be fully autonomous on in-app user engagement content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UserPilot is lacking in my opinion in easy to use analytics about content engagement. The way the metrics about each step of a flow are displayed isn't intuitive and isn't helpful in figuring out ways to improve content. The ability to build complete visual journeys (a la Customer.io), combining different flows based on specific triggers would also be amazing to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Userpilot is hazzel free, it gives a great and no-coee experience to create different flow and resources to your customers; based on tracked events and their favourite pages. One of their advantages is the price, quite competitive for startups that target the latam community. Also they have an excellent customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At the beginning the learning curve is long , it can take up to 3 month to set it up right, although if you use the resource center you can add value to your clients in a couple minutes. It would be great as well that they add metrics to track activity and engagement such as time to value.
We have found some bugs but they solved them ASAP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although I am fairly new to UserPilot, The resources provided by UserPilot have made such an impact on our clients experience within our PP site. User Pilot is user-friendly, and designed to help navigate us (and clients) quickly and easily through the content created. The analytics we’re able to record lets us know that our clients are using this tool which makes us believe how beneficially this source has been to us thus far.
Being able to create messages, warning, pop ups, etc to better assist our clients is amazing. Nothing compares to entering a site you may not know how to navigate through and having flows, spotlights and little tricks to help you along the way!
Our UserPilot rep, Danny, is always available and helpful when needed. The team provides help articles, offers training, and ensures to their clients that they are willing and ready to support in any way they can! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As stated before, being fairly new to UserPilot, I have yet to pinpoint opportunities within this resource. I just believe that it is A LOT to learn and will take some time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate how effortless it is to set up popup surveys and gather insights across different parts of our wealth management platform. The user interface is incredibly easy to navigate, which streamlines our workflow. Moreover, Userpilot allows us to communicate directly with our clients within the app, significantly enhancing our client engagement and feedback collection process. While we're generally very satisfied, I feel that the analytics dashboard could offer more in-depth reporting features for deeper insights. Specifically, there doesn't seem to be any machine learning capabilities integrated into the analytics yet, at least from what I've seen. Incorporating machine learning could provide more advanced insights and predictive analytics, which would be highly beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have been using User Pilot for 1 year in our company, and from the beginning, they have always provided personalized, close, and fast attention. Both for implementation and technical support.
It has a medium learning curve, easy to use and intuitive. They have many tutorials and manuals that help to quickly learn all their tools.
Similarly, User Pilot has helped us implement all our product communication campaigns quickly, in addition to implementing metrics for live product analysis.
They are also constantly evolving and updating, thinking about the clients and making the product a useful tool.
It is an excellent tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times, we have had difficulties implementing actions due to CSS selector issues; however, they have helped us immediately, and they have been resolved optimally.
We also found that in terms of intervention design, it could be a bit more designer-friendly, allowing for more customizable and flexible design tools. We hope it is implemented soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
