What do you like best about Userpilot?

Userpilot is a versatile tool designed to enhance user onboarding and engagement by allowing businesses to create in-app experiences without coding. We appreciate its ability to effectively inform users about software updates and changes, streamlining the communication process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

I wish for more customization options to better align with our brand's design system. One example of customization, when collecting Net Promoter Score (NPS) feedback, the ability to select specific colors corresponding to different score ranges would provide clearer context for users. Implementing a color scheme where scores 0-6 are shades of red, 7-8 are yellow, and 9-10 are green could help users understand where their feedback falls within the spectrum, aligning with common color associations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Userpilot?

UserPilot takes complicated concepts and makes them easy and intuitive to implement for non-technical folk. Great technical support - always responsive and friendly. We've been relying on the team to help us implement features and build solutions on top of our web app to bring additional functionality and experiences for our users. UP has been very patient in trying to understand our product and what we're trying to introduce and helps us tailor the best possible user experience. We rely heavily on UP to provide our users with resources, documents, and tutorials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

It's not a dislike, but implementing a few certain functions and roles still requires dev involvement, which can be challenging if you don't have the technical skills or have devs easily available to assist you. It depends on your service/website so this might not apply to everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Implementing a "Need Help?" menu and user training in various forms; providing important documentation to our users; conducting NPS surveys; displaying messages to our user-base that would be difficult to integrate via code from our side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Userpilot?

So far our experience with Userpilot has been amazing. We came over from one of their competitors and the difference has been night and day. Starting with the implementation, since they connect with Segment, it was a matter of 15 minutes before we had integrated everything.

I love their UI, it makes everything so easy to use and you quickly understand what you can do, but then you keep finding more and more that's possible. The ability to filter charts by specific metadata from events is also super useful (which was not something offered by our previous supplier).

On top of that, they also have auto-tracking so I was able to start on the analytics journey without needing developer time. They do a really great job of balancing simplicity (as in how easy it is to set up and use) with depth.

Their Chrome extension lets me set up onboarding flows and customizations quickly, while still providing useful insights on what our users are interacting with.

All of this with an accessible price point and an excellent support team. Specifically, Owen and Lauren have been instrumental in our ability to get the most out of their platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

So far nothing, we also wanted mobile app support but they just released it on Beta and it seems to work very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

They're making it so much easier to understand how our users behave and what they want, so we can better prioritize product improvements and new features. It lets us answer the question of are we building what our users need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Userpilot?

I love utilizing their resource center for our tool platform! It's an easy way to provide that 'AI' feel without actually any AI code. We have 2 audiences of subscribers on the platform, and with Userpilot's integration and role pass, it was very easy to establish two different resource centers without having to do extra work! Our subscribers use this feature all the time and frequently let us know how much they appreciate the information we provide. It's greatly increase our subscriber satisfaction so our client success team didn't need to focus on the simple question. This has become another customer support tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

I would love to be able to edit the video sizing when included in the resource center. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Providing a resource center option for our tool platform and having a ton of creative capabilities to make it match our brand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Userpilot?

The product is simple, we are not the most advanced at digging through data and previously we had a platform that was frankly overkil for our needs.

We needed dashboards and to be able to dig into data as and when needed and that it does very well.

The assitant is super simple to set up and the actual tool to create the guides works flawlessly compared to our previous system which would crash more often than not.

A.I. translations of guides work well even in tricky scadanavian languages.

They have just introduced the ability to port over data from other systems, this was a showstopper for us intitally but once we got it installed we had a gap between when we started and getting that data into the system, looking back this should never have been a showstopper for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

The implementation was a bit odd, there was no process, we are pretty process driven ourselves and had a plan with everything we needed to do.

It felt like implementation was more like a firefighting session once a week rather than something that was setting us up for success.

If this is your first venture into platform analysis you might be better served by one of the bigger players. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allowing us to measure out success better and provide better executive visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Userpilot?

I discovered user pilot through a colleague and have to say that I am very pleased with the user experience. I not only like the look and feel of it but also how easy it is incorporate it into the software you are working with. Especially the onboarding guide is very helpful. Using it in the software itself is also very helpful to have a direct comparison of what the tool will look like. Would definitely recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

I would say that some pages are a bit diffucult to understand from a first glance. Here general explanation texts would be helpful. Not only the single small information bubbles, which are nice, but a general information about the whole page and functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

With userpilot it is very easy to get a look into what the feature will look like in the actual software, which is a huge plus, since sometimes it can be tricky to get a picture in your head, this way it makes it much easier to make a decision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

While there is not much to be said on the downsides to Userpilot, the exportable reports and the design of the platform can always be improved. Not much else to say. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is hard to fully understand the detail in our clients usage of our service, with Userpilot it easily resolves this by presenting you with relevant and easy to quantify data. It ultimately saves me time which is invaluable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Userpilot?

With its no-code interface, Userpilot allows for in-app experiences, tooltips, and product tours without the need of a developer, making user onboarding smooth. The behavior-based triggers have changed the onboarding game as they assist in providing the right guidance at the right time. Another thing I like is the detailed analytics, which help with optimizing onboarding and provide valuable insights into user interactions. The ability to segment users and personalize experiences is also amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

I think that the UI is a bit clunky given how feature rich Userpilot is. There is also a learning curve when trying to set up complex flows. The pricing may also be higher for more disadvantaged smaller startups, and seeing some more third-party integrations would be lovely. Some advanced customization options, like CSS, certainly limit non-technical users through endless possibilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Userpilot addresses user onboarding, adoption, and engagement problems. Interactive, no-code onboarding using Userpilot helps users understand the product in a short time. Behavior-based triggers boost feature adoption, while segmentation personalizes the experience. Analytics and in-app surveys provide data to optimize user flows. It saves time, churns less, and boosts engagement—helping users achieve the best out of the product without hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Userpilot?

I love that this tool is easy to navigate through. In the company Im working for, the UX Researcher takes care of the set up and I can go to the tool and navigate through the insights easily, aslo watching the recordings which is very helpful. I find it amazing to get to know your users and how they use your tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Somewhat you need an onboarding, in my case, from my colleague, to the tool since can be overwhelming at the very beginning. It offers a lot of data and for those who are not familiar with this type of tools can be a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Onboarding of our users to our tool, we want to find out where are the problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Userpilot?

One of the best things about Userpilot is that it is completely no-code so you can create your in-app guidance and help sections easily. It has great customization options and is easy to integrate with our platform to create interactive guides and tooltips to help our users get around our product with ease. The analytics and segmentation capabilities are also fantastic and help us personalize experience based on user activity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userpilot?

Although Userpilot is very powerful, there are some areas for improvement. The customization options for the help section could be more flexible, especially when it comes to styling and positioning elements to match our brand guidelines. Finally, while the analytics are valuable, you can be a little limited on exporting the data or connecting with other reporting tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Userpilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Userpilot is a tool to help us with onboarding users within our platform without the need for continuous manual support to get people through those growing steps. New users often had trouble finding help resources, leading to frustration and increasing support tickets.

With Userpilot, we can build interactive in-app help sections, tooltips, and onboarding flows that guide users while proactively helping them use our product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
