Userpilot has been a great addition to our workflow! The best part is the support—they’re always available and genuinely helpful whenever we run into issues. It makes a huge difference knowing there’s someone to talk to when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only challenge I’ve faced is understanding how different flows interact with each other. It’s not always clear which flow will trigger first, and there’s no way to preview all active flows in one place. Having a more visual overview would make it much easier to manage.
Overall, it’s a fantastic tool with lots of potential, and I’d definitely recommend it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a Product Manager, Userpilot has significantly enhanced my autonomy in configuring surveys, NPS measurements, user flows, and banners without relying on development resources. Userpilot intuitive interface and no-code builder facilitate quick setup and deployment of in-app experiences, allowing for rapid iteration and optimization. Additionally, the seamless integration with our development environment has streamlined our processes, enabling efficient implementation of user engagement tools.
Another plus is the responsive support team, which provides quick answers via chat whenever assistance is needed, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations. Additionally, the support and availability of Sarah, our CSM, has been extremely helpful in guiding us to create the flows we needed in the best possible way. While Userpilot offers robust features, there is room for improvement in customization options for flows, resource center, surveys etc. The analytics dashboard, though functional, could benefit from enhanced clarity and more advanced capabilities to provide deeper insights into user behavior.
Occasional bugs in the survey module have been observed, and the inability to preview the resource center based on specific settings poses challenges in ensuring optimal user experiences.
Furthermore, when modifying published content, the "update changes" feature lacks detailed information on what alterations are being made, limiting our control over content updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It’s been really useful for rolling out new feature announcements and driving adoption without relying on engineering. The no-code builder makes it easy to create in-app messages, and the segmentation tools help target the right users at the right time. Also, the analytics give a good sense of what’s working so we can optimize engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customization is a bit limited unless you’re okay with custom CSS. Would love more flexibility in branding to keep everything consistent. Also, the integrations could go deeper—better connections with analytics platforms like Amplitude or Heap would make a big difference. Pricing can also get steep as you scale. The no-code aspect of userpilot makes it incredibly easy to set-up tracking and analyzing customer behavior. Sometimes we set them up during a meeting and by the end of that meeting we catch up on the data already. That way we'll quickly know if we are on the right path straight away.
The very few times we have been in need of help from their customer support, they have reacted quickly either calling in technical assistance if needed or followed up afterwards to see if everything have worked out.
We use Userpilot in different departments all benefiting, and it simplifies the work that multiple department are on the same track systemwise.
Lastly, their webinars and "training" of us users are well done and very helpfull. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like more variations in the design of our pop-ups, banners etc.
It is sometimes a little work to make it fit within our company design DNA - so some more possibilities there would be appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Userpilot is super easy to use and really well-priced, making it a great choice for onboarding and user engagement. I love that it comes with built-in templates, so you don’t have to start from scratch. Also it is very easy to integrate with the product. The analytics are also really helpful for understanding user behavior and making improvements. The customer support team is available on chat and quite responsive. Overall, it’s a great tool that saves time and delivers great value! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Userpilot is a great tool, but there are a few things that could be better. While it’s easy to use, some customization options feel limited, especially when trying to tailor experiences to specific needs. The analytics are useful, but they could be more detailed. Would be amazing if the customer support team is available on weekend as well which currently they are not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Easy implementation via a solid integration with Segment
- It allows you to test ideas very quickly without having to spend eng resources on it
- Great Customer Support always happy to help and discuss about new use cases that we want to implement
- Very easy to onboard new users inside the tool and get them up to speed with the different features
- Responsive to feedbacks and suggestions
- Fairly flexible design Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- If you need ultra custom solutions this might not be the tool for you, but for everybody else looking for a digital adoption tool that can be used also by people without and eng background, you should give it a try Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Userpilot is a versatile tool designed to enhance user onboarding and engagement by allowing businesses to create in-app experiences without coding. We appreciate its ability to effectively inform users about software updates and changes, streamlining the communication process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish for more customization options to better align with our brand's design system. One example of customization, when collecting Net Promoter Score (NPS) feedback, the ability to select specific colors corresponding to different score ranges would provide clearer context for users. Implementing a color scheme where scores 0-6 are shades of red, 7-8 are yellow, and 9-10 are green could help users understand where their feedback falls within the spectrum, aligning with common color associations. UserPilot takes complicated concepts and makes them easy and intuitive to implement for non-technical folk. Great technical support - always responsive and friendly. We've been relying on the team to help us implement features and build solutions on top of our web app to bring additional functionality and experiences for our users. UP has been very patient in trying to understand our product and what we're trying to introduce and helps us tailor the best possible user experience. We rely heavily on UP to provide our users with resources, documents, and tutorials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not a dislike, but implementing a few certain functions and roles still requires dev involvement, which can be challenging if you don't have the technical skills or have devs easily available to assist you. It depends on your service/website so this might not apply to everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far our experience with Userpilot has been amazing. We came over from one of their competitors and the difference has been night and day. Starting with the implementation, since they connect with Segment, it was a matter of 15 minutes before we had integrated everything.
I love their UI, it makes everything so easy to use and you quickly understand what you can do, but then you keep finding more and more that's possible. The ability to filter charts by specific metadata from events is also super useful (which was not something offered by our previous supplier).
On top of that, they also have auto-tracking so I was able to start on the analytics journey without needing developer time. They do a really great job of balancing simplicity (as in how easy it is to set up and use) with depth.
Their Chrome extension lets me set up onboarding flows and customizations quickly, while still providing useful insights on what our users are interacting with.
All of this with an accessible price point and an excellent support team. Specifically, Owen and Lauren have been instrumental in our ability to get the most out of their platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far nothing, we also wanted mobile app support but they just released it on Beta and it seems to work very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love utilizing their resource center for our tool platform! It's an easy way to provide that 'AI' feel without actually any AI code. We have 2 audiences of subscribers on the platform, and with Userpilot's integration and role pass, it was very easy to establish two different resource centers without having to do extra work! Our subscribers use this feature all the time and frequently let us know how much they appreciate the information we provide. It's greatly increase our subscriber satisfaction so our client success team didn't need to focus on the simple question. This has become another customer support tool. I would love to be able to edit the video sizing when included in the resource center. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product is simple, we are not the most advanced at digging through data and previously we had a platform that was frankly overkil for our needs.
We needed dashboards and to be able to dig into data as and when needed and that it does very well.
The assitant is super simple to set up and the actual tool to create the guides works flawlessly compared to our previous system which would crash more often than not.
A.I. translations of guides work well even in tricky scadanavian languages.
They have just introduced the ability to port over data from other systems, this was a showstopper for us intitally but once we got it installed we had a gap between when we started and getting that data into the system, looking back this should never have been a showstopper for us. The implementation was a bit odd, there was no process, we are pretty process driven ourselves and had a plan with everything we needed to do.
It felt like implementation was more like a firefighting session once a week rather than something that was setting us up for success.
If this is your first venture into platform analysis you might be better served by one of the bigger players. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
