UserFlow is very easy to use and provides most of the features we need.
It allows you to build flows in a minute, to make sure your customers know about every feature you provide, create clever content and make sure they get answers to any question they might have. You manage many languages in your content? No worries, their localization manager is very easy to use and you'll get your content ready to be used from anywhere in a second!
And all of this in a beautiful and user-friendly UI.

At the moment I would say that the only things I need are:
- More Users (I can have only 5 people in my team as editors)
- Ability to manage bright/dark mode without duplicating content Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm super impressed with the tools from both how easy it is for us to use the and how well thought out the user experience is for the authors, to how well it works for the users also. Really slick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do wish there was an opiton to turn on "Back" buttons for flows so we don't have to add them manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their editor is very simple to use, very intuitive and easy to navigate. A key factor for me was that it didn't require installation when I was evaluating it: you can see what the builder and end user experience will look like without committing to code integration.
Once I became a customer, I also appreciated how attentive and quick to respond the team is. I don't know how they do it with so few people on their team, but I rarely wait for longer than a couple of hours for a first response, and I was able to get a resolution for pretty much everything that I wanted to get done. - Their editor is only supported in Chrome
- Their built-in analytics is very detailed but the user experience of using it is frustrating
- You have to work around some limitations in the mid-tier (only one resource center for example) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Creating several flows at the same time.
Easy to use.
Quick help when I need it.
Different ways to approach users and track each interaction with the flows created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When creating flows, there are only 3 ways to personalise the experience: tool tip, bubble, and message. I want to find other ways to activate flows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have a complex site using iframe and complex dialogs. Userflow made creating complex workflow demos a real joy. We are a technical company , and really appreciated the thought and execution of the software - having some insight into what it takes to create this type of product. My only real issue is that it is a bit on the expensive side. However, it is a class product and we could justify the ROI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Userflow has an excellent user interface. For a product that helps other Saas products onboard their users, they have done a brilliant job in walking the talk but gone even further and made it intuitive enough not to require onboarding in the first place. You can get started with your first flow in less than 5 mins of using the platform. While simplicity makes it very approachable, sophistication makes it a powerful tool to use.
In addition to the product being great - they have excellent response time for any Support questions you may have.
The team is also constantly adding new innovative functionality and I look forward to being a long time customer as they add more functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think there's anything I 'dislike' about the tool - but I do have a few thoughts on improvements and a feature request:
(Improve) Pricing: This is not a Userflow issue specifically but an issue with this product category. The entire product category has based pricing on Monthly Active Users. However, this pricing model doesn't work for all companies - especially if your product has seasonal rises in traffic. I don't want to keep thinking about the pricing of my product increasing every time I add 1000 more users. As a product owner, I want to predict my costs, and I think SaaS products that help me do that are always the ones I prefer.
(Feature Request) Persona-based Previews: The product does a brilliant job in simulating the experience for every tour - better than any other. But as you get more advanced and create advanced targetting, it is tough to understand what product tours are active. It would be great to have a feature that allows me to simulate not only one tour but the experience of a specific persona across the entire platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Userflow is an incredible tool. Saves a ton of dev hours and enables you to drive product adoption with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, it's pretty cheap and super useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UserFlow has been one of the most quickly adopted products by myself and my team due to the ease of use for those new to creating/working with product tours. The more I dive into the product, the more possibilities I see with it, not just for user onboarding but overall engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a capability to save templates or create frameworks to organize individual flow pieces to re-use in other flows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
