Upstart is a very clean-looking program that is easy to follow. It provides great information for the customers and assists them in comparing and pricing vehicles. It allows them to shop and play with finances from home. One of the best things about Upstart is their customer service. Our customer service rep is always available and ready to help. They are not only reactive to problems, they are proactive in reaching out and making sure things are going well. The only dislike is some integrations with other tools. Our trade-in value tool is CARFAX and it is not yet compatible with Upstart. I don't think there are any other improvements I can think of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were unaware that we would need certain abilities with other platforms and services that we utilize in order to fully integrate the Upstart platform. I like the integration very much but most important is the congruency it provides between in-dealership and online purchasing experiences. This is the beginnings of a quality platform that would be at home in any industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform/ application is young and it shows. There need to be additional integrations with DMS providers and the functionality from the manager's station is rudimentary. Additional features such as customer info/address view, multiple vehicle desking, and roll payment options would be helpful. I love how dedicated the Upstart team is to upgrading and innovating its tools. The dev team seems to move fairly quickly on certain projects compared to most vendors I've worked with. Additionally, the customer service from both the Support team and Account reps has been timely, thorough, friendly, transparent, and consistent across the board. We like to get into the nitty-gritty details when it comes to problem-solving or customization requests and I have yet to meet someone on the Upstart staff, no matter their role, who hasn't been able to play ball and get us the in-depth answers or solutions we need. Our previous account rep, Jesse, helped us all along the way since the launch of the tool on our site and never left us feeling stranded or out of the loop. Even upon transitioning to a new account rep, there were zero growing pains with both reps making the transition seamless. Our new rep, Charles Rowe, hasn't skipped a beat in keeping our team updated on the latest news and being our main liaison for anything we need help with. Haven't found much we dislike at the moment! We are always going to be one of those dealer groups who want to be able to drill down and do the most granular customizations on our sites - so that can sometimes be a bummer when certain things are limited. But we also understand the boundaries and appreciate the transparency about projects in your queue and whether our expectations are even realistic, rather than being strung along. I had some hesitation when we first considered Upstart. At that time they were a small company with roughly 100 Automotive accounts.
