I liked the CRM integration that it allows for making seamless transition to contact leads. I also liked that it allowed you to search multiple industries and titles of employees at once which would give you a much more complete list of people within your search criteria. I also like the fact that you can look up companies by revenue, # of employees and their industry. being able to identify contacts this way works well for those trying to target a specific market or company size. Locating leads and their region. At times I was provided leads that we not within my physically and geographical location so I would have to sort through the list provided in order to find those contacts which were more relevant to my location. This past year I was tasked with sourcing contacts from numerous trade show contacts. I was very pleased with customer service, the cost, and mostly accurate contact information. Sometimes I thinks some of my saved search parameters don't get saved, requiring me to reconfigure searches from scratch.
Also -- if I want to download a validated list of contacts, it would be great if I could set the quantity of validated contacts, and get exactly that. As it is, I configure a list, and tell the system I want a particular number of contacts -- and then say I want ones with validated email addresses. I get some subset of the original number -- no telling how many I'm going to get. Would be better if I could say I want "x" number of contacts with validated emails, and get exactly that. Uplead is a fantastic source to get qualified leads with a bounty of detail. The dashboard is easy to use and the customer service is A+ with quick and proactive response times. Nothing. I did not use it. The filters seemed too complicated so I dropped out after seeing that. Sometime later that month I got slapped with a 900 dollar bill and because they did not find those funds they took what they could: 99 dollars. Now they say it is nonrefundable. Imagine this with 900 dollars.
UPDATE: They have come back to me and refunded my funds. I had to bring to their attention that what they were doing might have been considered illegal by FTC: Federal Trade Commission Act

I am not sure if this was the reason they refunded me the funds or the fact that I have not engaged with their platform at all except for introducing my card details. I am still scared that they will charge me next month, even though I have cancelled my unwanted subscription instantly without using it.

Summary:
Onboarding dark pattern. Be aware after the trial period they opt you in automatically for a 1 year subscription. I did not use it at all because I found it too complicated, got charged initially with 900 doors and then after a failed attempt, they charged me 99 dollars. FOR NOT ONE ACTION on that site. My trial points are there. I have not touched them and so are the automatic subscription points. They are refusing to refund me the 99 dollars that they, in my view, stole from me for no value whatsoever.
Long version:
I recently encountered some challenges during the onboarding process that I believe are important to share. After the trial period, I was automatically enrolled in a one-year subscription without my explicit consent. This led to an initial charge of $900, followed by an additional $99 after an unsuccessful attempt to manage the subscription.
I found the process somewhat complicated and was unable to utilize the service, leaving my trial points unused. Additionally, I did not receive any email notifications regarding the billing or the conclusion of the trial period, which contributed to my oversight of the automatic subscription.
It appears that the terms and conditions may be located in a less visible area of the website, possibly within fine print or buried under extensive text related to saving card details.
