I would like that when you select a text, in the case that this fragment is of several pages, you can select it entirely to be able to request summaries, translations or to be able to manage the text jointly between pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bates stamping in batches although there is a small problem with that. Usually the Bates numbering is provided on the right down corner of every page of the document. In order to start with continuation on a new batch of documents (not starting from zero, but for example 123) I have to always start numbering the confidentiality of the document which is usually on the top mid section of a page. Please fix that. In other words I would like to at once add Bates stamping in right down corner and in mid top section confidentiality, and I can't do it until I would start adding numbers to the confidentiality. Then the document looks not professional having on the top of the page CONFIDENTAIL1 and so on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice to have in the splitting document option a possibility to select pages from a PDF document and save them as a separate document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’ve been using UPDF for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become my go-to PDF editor across all my Apple devices. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to navigate and edit documents without a steep learning curve. I especially appreciate the ability to annotate, convert, and organize PDFs with just a few taps. The cross-platform sync is a huge plus — I can start editing on my iPad and finish on my Mac seamlessly. If you’re looking for a reliable and feature-rich PDF solution, UPDF is definitely worth it. However, one feature I’d love to see improved is the digital signature section. Unlike other apps like PDF Expert, UPDF currently doesn’t offer password protection for saved signatures, which raises some security concerns. Adding this option would make the app even more robust and suitable for professional use.
Overall, a powerful PDF tool with great potential! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A volte, l'IA non riesce a leggere bene la copia o non coglie nel segno la traduzione di un pdf. Non darei esattamente la colpa allo strumento, è solo questione di tempo che migliorerà sempre di più, dove siamo oggi, con l'IA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like how UPDF combines all the essential PDF tools—editing, annotating, converting, and organizing—into one easy-to-use platform. I find the interface intuitive, and I appreciate that one license works across all my devices. The AI features like summarizing and translating documents save me time, and the pricing is much more affordable than other options. While I’ve noticed a few minor bugs and think the drawing tools could be stronger, overall, I find UPDF to be a powerful and cost-effective alternative to more expensive PDF editors. I think UPDF could improve its drawing and annotation tools, which feel a bit basic compared to other editors. I’ve also experienced occasional bugs, especially with larger files. I’d prefer fewer upgrade prompts for AI features, as they can interrupt my workflow when I’m focused on editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I came from using Adobe Acrobat Pro looking for a cheaper alternative that still does everything I wanted it to. I was very happy to find UPDF. It was the cheapest and one of the best alternatives. The trial period gave me the opportunity to test all the features and the reviews confirmed it was a good alternative. Where Adobe was bulky, slow, and took a while to learn - moving to UPDF was easy and straight forward. I even prefer the interface. Adobe used to crash on me quite often whereas UPDF has not crashed on me at all.
The crop feature is straight forward and easy.
I bought the perpetual licence because it was affordable, I can have it on multiple devices, and it includes upgrades. Other perpetual licence PDF apps did not give access on multiple devices or provide upgrades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the OCR may have been a bit better on Adobe.
You can only highlight recognised text. There is a work around where you can use an opaque pencil feature as a highlighter but it's not quite as good.
You can't seem to change the width and height of multiple form fields at once when they are selected. You have to edit one at a time and cannot specify how far away you want them from the edges.
Would be good if it had a tick shape that you can add to a PDF without having to prepare a form.
Also, it is difficult to add an image on top of an image especially when the original image takes up the entire page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
OCR VERY GOOD! REALLY VERY GOOD, THE APP IS LIGHT, and it's easy to use, pleasant. just missing that detail, something that makes you think... it really is better than using a free app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think UPF has a very beautiful layout, a very fast code, it's beautiful and pleasant... but it lacks that wow factor. I don't need to advertise PDF Expert, but it's amazing how it combines ease with options and tools... I think UPDF lacks that. It Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that it is easy to use for all my PDF requirments. I can open up any PDF I have with it with ease. I also love that when I need help and support, they are just a click away. And to be honest, PDF's are everywhere I totally am constantly using it all day every day. I love how many PDF features it has in addition to the AI capabilities to summarize and create mind maps of the information. It is totally easy to use and requires no experience or knowledge to use. Sometiems, that AI can't read the copy or that it missies the mark are summarizing. I would not exactly blame this on the tool, that's just where we are with AI right now. I believe it will get better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's lightweight, with a fair subscription price and, the most important to me, PERPETUAL.
It has powerful editing tools; i must admit that I'm very impressed by that. For what I do with PDF I can say that it has everything I need for a PDF editor Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I don't like is, maybe, the initial un-intuitiveness of some menus. You have to do some trial and error to learn how properly use it but at the end of the day it doesn't take too much time to learn the basics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UPDF is a powerful tool that easily helps you create and edit PDFs. Its AI feature is exceptionally helpful for both work-related and personal tasks and has saved me countless hours of research and study time. The best part is that you can choose between a lifetime license for the current major version or a monthly or annual subscription for current and future major versions. I appreciate the choice a great deal and feel it's worth mentioning in any review! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only real downside I've experienced is that UPDF doesn't currently support JavaScript and/or Markdown functionality in certain advanced documents. As someone who also uses this product as a TTRPG player, this makes it difficult to take advantage of the advanced features some of my 3rd party character sheets have. I have submitted the suggestion, though, and hope to see support implemented in a future update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ease with which documents can be edited on the Mac and also on the iPad, it is very easy to use and is used in the same way on all devices, in my case iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to be able to edit/move the pages on the phone as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
